After reading good reviews I came here with my bf. The smell walking in here was so strong, I don't feel like it was clean at all. There were two long black hairs on the towels they were using to wipe my feet down, they never asked how short to cut the nails and cut my toes all the way down the shortest possible and then continued to file ever shorter. My bfs nails were bleeding on the sides. They used a grinder on both of our feet and I did not see it get cleaned once. Just hope we don't get an infection read more

The staff were amazing I totally recommend. The salon was clean and neat and it was a good experience. read more

This review is exclusively for John. I can't speak regarding the rest of the staff. Not knowing anyone to ask for when I booked my appointment, I was assigned to John. I cringed because I find that men are usually very rough. The fact that he can't speak English makes communication very difficult. I was able to get it across to him that he cannot use the machines on me (they hurt and are destructive to natural nails) and that he would have to be gentle with me in general. His 1st gel manicure and pedicure were decent. I won't say great but good. No pain, no injuries. However, I was very concerned about the state of his hands and nails. They are disgusting and look diseased. He uses his hideous nails as tools. Shouldn't a manicurist care for his hands? I wouldn't go to a hair stylist who has bad hair! I rebooked to take the gel polish off and do another pedi. I didn't know how to ask for someone else so got stuck with him again. #2 was SO MUCH WORSE! This time I couldn't make him understand that he has to soak off the gel polish - he can't use the machines on me. He kept giggling at me (a reaction to not understanding) while he repeatedly burned my natural nails and cuticles. The cuticles he didn't burn he tore off with clippers that I don't think were disinfected. I was nearly crying at the end of the visit. I didn't know how to handle it because the place was packed and I hate making a scene. I know other people rave about this place and the other technicians might be great. Some speak English. I'm going to keep trying other places. I may find one that has it all??!! read more

Love them, gel nailed lasts three weeks it is awesome. I have not made appointments but they always make room for me.

Amazing service and great prices! My best friend needed to get her nails fixed after we went to another salon in Reno and they did it for $35! Showed her what her nails are supposed to look like and how she should feel after getting her nails done at a salon. read more

I've been going here for years and Tina does the best pedicure ! I decided to get my nails done again after years of not doing them and Don does an excellent job! They take great care of their customers. read more

This place used to be my go to for pedicures. I like that they are open on Sunday and not crazy busy, however, my latest visit there was beyond disappointing. I asked for the deluxe pedicure and brought my own, brand new Essie, nail polish. The pedicure itself was pleasurable but it was the end result that I'm unhappy with. Unfortunately, I didn't notice my toes until after I had already left. The polish is uneven, bubbly and applied too heavily. I don't understand how the lady who was doing my toes didn't notice or she just didn't care....I don't know which is worse. Now I'm going to have to redo them myself....$45 down the drain. read more

We stumbled upon this place by accident on a Sunday, and I'm so thankful we did! We called to see who was open at that moment and who had openings for two pedicures. They said come on in. The place was clean and had upgraded chairs. They used the one time only bowl liners which make me feel good as a health major. I had John for my pedicure. John massaged my feet and pressed in spots that had never been pressed before and one word: WOW!!!! He was fantastic. My toes are perfectly painted, my feet felt amazing, they had hot towels and a stone massage.... and it was so reasonably priced, I will definitely go back! The basic pedicure (which was anything but basic) was $28 and it was a + $15 charge for gel. They had sooooo many colors to choose from as well. I was pleasantly surprised with this place, and it's right next to where I live so it's even more perfect. Thank you foxy nails, I will definitely refer my friends and family! read more

I have only had a couple of negative experiences (nail paint was goopy and smudged 2 hours after I left) but overall, this is the best salon. I booked an appointment for my mom and I. ... 2 pedicures , 1full set and 1 gel nail polish . The person I talked so said to come in at 1230. And I reconfirmed for all appointments for that time and he said yes . Perfect because of holiday weekend might be busy .. anyways we get there put our feet in Luke warm water .. sat there almost 15 min before we were ever seen... you would've thought it at least be hot or warmer then barely Luke warm but whatever . The pedicure ladies never talked to us . We get done ... we were waiting to continue on with the rest of our appointments when we were told they don't have time ... granted it was busy but we had an appointment for 2 ppl already booked or so I thought . I said we talked to some guy and confirmed both ppls appointments and he confirmed it . Ohhh but we could've come back 4 hours later to finish ?? Like really ???? No .. not going back.., it's a shame my mom tipped them .. for what ?! read more

My friend and I came here last night for mani-pedis and it was great! I had never been here but my friend used to come here all the time. With the pedicure they massage you and use hot stones which felt soo good. We both got gel polish on both services. I got a design on my manicure and the lady there did a great job! The price was really affordable and I shocked when they told me my amount. I thought wow that is a great price for the these services. I will come back here. Very friendly and does an awesome job! I am happy with them. read more

Sadly I will never be returning back to Foxy Nails my entire appointment was super rushed and o felt the nail tech did not take the time to produce quality nails. The acrylic was super uneven and clumpy and some parts of the nail didn't even have the clear coat on them. The glitter was put on super randomly and made the nails even more clumpy. The nail tech was super nice the nails were just not good quality and I was pretty disappointed. read more

Very poor experience and one of the worst manicures I have had. The technician hardly trimmed my cuticles and trust me they needed it as its been weeks since I've had a manicure due to COVID. Then she filed my nails and each is an inconsistent shape and length, and didnt even rinse off the dust from filing before she started the polish. Hands down though the polish is what is the most unacceptable- its on my cuticles and skin, on some nails its not covering the entire nail, it doesnt go to the cuticle, there are bumps, etc., etc. honestly its unacceptable. Not sure if I caught them on a bad day, but very poor work. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would! Worst set of gels ever! They look nothing like the pictures on line. The owner is the one that did them. So thick and mis-shaped. I paid 55 dollars plus tip and now I have to pay even more to get them fixed. Stay away from this salon! read more

Terrible pedicure! Rushed the entire pedicure and then completely ignored me for almost 30 minutes. The polish is a mess and he didn't cut my cuticles. For $35 my feet look worse! This place is not the same since they sold to new ownees. Time to find new nail salon. read more

I have no idea how this place gets all these 5-star reviews, something does not add up... My nail tech was horrible! The man who got me in was nice, but Amy did my nails. I just wanted a gel polish and plain pedicure. She rushed through my services and completed it in 40 min. flat. While I was getting my nails done, I just mentioned if she did not mind to please put one extra clear coat bc at my previous nail salon in Vegas this really helped my nails last. She rudely said I am going to. No social skills and curt. The last 20 min of my appointment she had a young man come and sit by her and talk in her language for the remaining time she worked on me. I was also shocked at what she charged me. It was close to $90 for her 40 min service. Nurses do not even make that kind of cash and to rush through! Pure gravy train! Virtually no cost in their product, all labor and profit. Very disappointed they did not live up to the rave reviews they have & needless to say will never return. read more

This place has a new owner. Don is no longer here. I went and had my nails done by the new owner. OMG is was the worst nail job I have EVER had. I even went back and had him fix the sloppy job. I asked for a flower and he put a sticker... okay that's fine , but he didn't even cover it with enough topcoat and it was already coming off. Horrible job! read more

Since moving to Reno I have not been able to find a good nail salon until today. I walked into Foxy Nails and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was so nice, very clean and I was taken care of right away. Note I did not have a reservation but they were very accommodating and I was seated in a luxurious chair. A very nice young man named Kyle did my pedicure. He was so nice and asked me to let him know if he was massaging me to hard. I got the best pedicure I have ever gotten. I have already made a return appointment and booked that with Kyle Thank you Kyle "Your the best"! read more

Kind of let down. Been here a few times when I'm visiting friends so decided to go here for mani/pedi before a wedding tomorrow. My pedicure was half-hearted, the French tip looks ok, but when I asked for more attention on my feet (she barely rubbed them with a stone for a few seconds) she said it doesnt come with the basic package. All I wanted was SOME attention on my feet. My mom was in the chair next to me and the lady doing her pedicure was friendly, attentive, helpful and paid attention to what was requested. It accentuated the lack of care from the lady (phuong, I think her license said) doing mine. Manicure was lackluster as well. No cuticle care, uneven polish. I was really looking forward to this but she really took the wind out of my sails. read more

Ok experience... nails came out good but technicians were extremely rough when filing, trimming, etc. I also got acrylic fake nails specifically to add some length though by the time he got done, they were so short it was pointless to get them in the first place. Thankful for the good looking nails but will not be going back. read more

The worst nail place I have ever been to, my nails aren't even. I got cats eye on a couple of them & you can't tell they are cats eye. She didn't even put the black on, which should go on first. What a waste of money. I was waited on by Kimberly read more

I came in to get my nails today I waited about an hour before someone was available but I was fine because I called twenty minutes before I got there and scheduled an appointment they told me to come in at 1:10 but I sat there until 2:09 before they got started on my Acrylic set. I've been going here for around a year now and I've noticed the quality of their service has been declining. The last time I went I had an appointment for 4:30 and I wasn't seated until 5:00, and no one started working on my nails until 5:30. They made me wait an hour when I had an appointment scheduled, and they did the quickest manicure I've ever had, it was extremely rushed and honestly looked horrible.
