Thank you Katie!! These turned out incredible!! So appreciative of this salon, everyone was so kind and helpful. Katie did this acrylic set for me and went above and beyond making sure that it was something I'd love while still being in my price range!! This set was $85 before tip. Definitely recommend!!

I unfortunately cannot with this place anymore. I keep going back hoping to have a better experience and today I've just had it. I had an extremely small window to get a pedicure before a trip and this is what I ended up with. They are so friendly and always have good availability, but I'm out 1.5hrs and another $70 and now I have to go spend double my time and money just to get it fixed somewhere else and I'm pissed. The gentleman that did my pedi was kind, he gave a great massage, but his hands were a bit trembling and I knew it was going to end up a disaster at the first swipe of the brush. I let it slide, asked him to fix a few spots, he acted like he didn't understand or care, charged me $60, I tipped $10 and there you go. I took my sock off to find the edges I had asked him to fix completely peeling upwards on both feet. Last time I was in there, I got a manicure with no polish, I needed my cuticles cut and give my nails a little bit of shape with a color break. The girl cut my cuticle and I was bleeding a lot. I felt bad and tried to wrap my finger and keep it out of the way or even tell her she could just stop since I wasn't getting any polish, every effort I was told no. Everybody in the place made such a big deal about it and they kept blaming me that I was forcing myself to bleed more. Umm ok?!?!. Yet, they still charged me full price I tipped generously bc I felt so bad and then as I walked away i could see inside the window and I watched the manicurist mock what had just happened. I'm over it. I just can't recommend this place any longer.

Decided to re-review Foxy Nails as I realized my pedicure has the top coat missing on my left foot. None are protected with top coat. I didn't realize this till now. I don't know if I'll be coming back.

I needed a last minute pedicure and walked in at this place. They were able to take me in right away. I'm not going to lie, from the outside, I wasn't sure, if I was going to like it. But, once you're inside, you're greeted right away with good ambiance. The place was clean and spacious. I ended up getting the spa pedicure with gel nails. I thought the price was reasonable and the leg massage was great! Overall, great visit!

This was my first time at foxy nails, and I was with Tiana. In my review, I have posted the inspiration pictures for the nails that I requested and a picture of the nails that I was given. The service I would say is luxury. I have been to nail technicians before, but I really enjoyed this nail salon. As soon as I came in, I was greeted kindly and asked if I wanted a water which they provided immediately. Once I was sat down, it was exactly at my appointment time which was great and timely. The nail technician was kind and inviting. She asked if that was exactly what I wanted and through the whole process confirmed if I liked what I was receiving. She asked about if I liked my shape and I said yes and so on and so forth, which I found great as far as quality goes. I love a technician who continually makes sure that I'm happy with the work being done on my hands. I received a couple of compliments from some of the technicians which I thought was very sweet and made me feel welcome and like they were happy I was there. So by far service was top-tier. I really loved my nails and the way that they came out because it was exactly as requested. The inside of the Salon is extremely clean and very modern. The decorations are adorable, and it was definitely giving "luxury". I would totally recommend this place and I will be coming back!

Worst experience ever! My best friend and friend talked great about this place and my manicure and pedicure were not worth 100 dollars. The guy working on my toes and feet (same guy) was shaking the whole time. My hands were shaking with his and everything was messy. I was rushed when the three of us made appointments. My friend who requests a specific person had to switch to someone else because they over booked who she requested. The design wasn't even what she wanted it was whatever the guy wanted. To top it off there was another lady who was upset and left because she had an appointment and they over booked her too. This seems to be a reoccurring issue it sounds like. I will not be returning. 100 dollars for a terrible experience is insane.

Disappointed with service, I expected my toes to look professionally painted, I was told they cannot paint designs, they can only do stickers.

I got my nails done by Katie, and am absolutely in love! She did acrylic and crushed what I wanted!!! Made sure I was pleased before I left the salon!!! Love love love! Will be going back to Katie from now on.

I'm super happy with this little out of the beaten bath salon. They were very welcoming and the quality of service was great. Lily was very nice and made suggestions on color based on my skin tone, which was great because my last pedicure was a disaster on color. She even did super cute French tips really short so I can still play guitar. They match my toe color! I would loved to have had some music in the background but it didn't deter from the happy vibe here.

I am so sad to report that after my 5th visit here with outstanding service I have never felt more low as a customer. My friend made 3 total appointments for mani and pedis, hers with Pi and mine with Peter and the 3rd who ever was available. We were told Peter would have a customer but would be available at 10am for me. She secured the other 2 appointments at 945 with Pi and any other avail tech. We arrived early at 930 and we were told Pi was out sick and asked if another tech was ok. We accepted the new tech and we were sat for our pedicures. I have been seeing Peter for 4 going on 5 months and specifically requested him because I enjoy his work and he matches my design requests. Today I showed him another design and he said no problem for pedi and mani. When he showed the designed I said it was ok but not what I wanted but could work with it since the same would be on my nails. He then moved me to his desk and began my manicure. After soaking and shaping another technician came and tapped me on the shoulder and said Peter was doubled booked and asked if it was ok someone else completed my manicure. I was lost for words but said ok. I watched Peter leave half way through my service to go help the other second booked appointment in the pedicure stations. I waited a few moments and no one came so I turned around to my party and told them what had just happened. I said "they double booked Peter and pulled him half way through my service" after a few minutes I was moved over to the woman who sits 2 desks from the cash register. She seemed apologetic in the beginning but over the course of finishing my service and correcting the design on my toes to match my nails, things changed. As I sat there getting my manicure done, another woman came in to find out they had also double booked her appointment. She began to get loud and said it was the 3rd time it happened to her. I had sympathy because it was happening to me in that moment. The woman ended up leaving. During the course of my manicure I witnessed the phone be answered 4 times, appointment slots given, and nothing written in their book. It was very clear to me what happened to me today. It also happened to the woman. And will more than likely happen to future patrons to this business. The tech doing my manicure offered to redo the design on my toe in which I did let her to it, I was already upset with what had happened I didnt want to leave upset with a design. During the course of the redo she offered that my service be completely free. I stayed completely quiet. I did not want a free service. I wanted the services I made appointments for with the tech I requested. I understand things happen, however, the course they took today was not the best in my opinion. I paid for my service in which they gav $15 off to me and the other 2 females in my party. Peter, you do great work and I'm sorry this happened but I can no longer move forward with the shop.

I wish I listened to the other negative reviews. I was cut pretty badly here during my pedicure and manicure. Every toe was cut a little but the big toes were the deepest and worst. I didn't realize it was that bad until I got home and it was bleeding a lot. I was up most of the night because it was so painful. I got my nails done because I going on a vacation for my 30th birthday and will not be able to go in the water or hike now due to the risk of infection. It completely ruined my trip. I am so devastated. I also got a gel French manicure but was only given 3 tips on my nails. When I saw only three nails with tips, I asked again for the technician to do a full set. She told me that she would have to charge an extra $20 (for a total of $75) to remove the 3 and put on a full set. I don't think the customer should have to pay extra for a nail technician's mistake. The nails are okay but super thick and she don't push your cuticles before applying gel so it gives a really bulbous appearance. I also was cut on my thumb as well. Please see the photos for that. I talked to the owner to try and find a solution because I paid over $100 for these services. I was just offered a $25 gift card if I wanted to come back (which I will not be doing since I was injured here). I asked the owner to comp at least some of my service and I was told that I was lying about being cut on each toe and even if I was that "it wasn't that bad" after showing a photo. He told me "being cut was part of the process of getting a pedicure". I've never gotten cut to the point of bleeding before. Please do not come here.

I'm from out of town and broke a nail out here. I looked at so many shops and came across Foxy Nails. They had good reviews and nice nail pics! I called and asked if the had Gel-X nails, which they said they did. When I arrived and was seated she said she only had "hybrid" which I've never her of. But I trusted her. I had a previous set in my hands that I got done in LA. She offered (Hannah) to just fill and replace my broken nail . She left them so bulky and nail polish so uneven. When she finished I let her know they were bulky and I didn't like she proceeds to say "your old nails didn't need a fill" She honestly didn't care that I wasn't happy about them and didn't even offer to fix . Besides her horrible job she did in my nails her attitude was even worse. I don't expect them to become my friend but good customer service is always expected . read more

This was the worst pedicure ever!! I was traveling for work and after a long week I thought getting a pedicure would be a great idea. I looked at the reviews and this place seemed ok. I made an appt for 5:40. When I arrived they asked me to pick a color, I asked for Gel but they didn't offer me the "ring of colors" I sat at the chair they started the water, but there was no jets just water. The Chair wouldn't move all the way back so it a little uncomfortable. About 5 mins into it something went wrong and water started spraying all over me and I was soaked absolute soaked my jeans were so wet. They gal and gentlemen just said "so sorry so sorry" I asked for a towel and they brought me one but it's wasn't enough to soak up all the water. I continued with my pedicure because at this point what was I going to do. They never offered me a menu to pick which service I wanted she just dipped my feet In the water, painted my toes with the color I picked and I was done. The pedicure may lasted about 30 mins!! I went to the front and she said $55 please! I said are you really going to make me pay you have completely soaked me.. she said yes $55 UNBELIEVABLE!! I walked to my car I had to sit on a plastic bag so my seat wouldn't get soaked from my wet jeans! This was the worst service I have had !! I understand that things happen and I was understanding but to make me pay for a terrible service is unreal!! read more

Visited from out of town and had a cracked nail I needed fixed. Not sure who helped me but she was rude, rushed the manicure (yet I was still there for like an hour and a half), and ended up breaking the cracked nail and blaming me for it. She put an acrylic on my nail AND charged me extra for it even though she broke it in the first place. On top of that, the gel application was lumpy, the shaping was uneven and varied from nail to nail, and the price was outrageous. Only plus side was they put some nail strengthening stuff on my nails that made them fairly durable, but I still had a break anyways. Not sure how y'all do nails in Reno but if you're smart you'll avoid this spot. read more

I was 100% prepared to give a five star review until the end of the appointment where they tried to charge me 35 dollars for a polish change. Sheila was an absolute angel. She went above and beyond to make sure that my pedicure was perfection and I am so thankful for her. If you want intricate nail art and designs I wouldn't recommend but if you want something normal with maybe a flower and some glitter this is perfect. It's the most affordable nail place here in Reno the others raised prices too much or they try to charge you for random things you never asked for. Super recommend. read more

Hannah was my nail tech. She was so sweet and did a phenomenal job on my liquid gel fill. She made sure my gel was smooth, not lumpy, and kept my natural nails in healthy condition. I chose my base coat then let her freestyle. Hannah chose a marble design with Easter colors. Not something that I would have chosen on my own, but still very pretty! read more

Having a fill and found fungus under nail!! Girl who was doing my nails filed my skin under nail and left a sore. ( her nails hadn't been done in months!). I believe a nail techs nails should be clean. My Nails were left different lengths and shapes. Very disappointing! Not returning. The correct response from the owner would have been, "we are so sorry this happened ." Not to make fun of me! I did show you when I was leaving and you did not apologize. read more

I took myself and my daughter in law in for a pedicure. My lady cut me several times cutting my cuticles. They are actually so bad that the pain woke me up for 2 nights in a row. My daughter in law luckily didn't get cut but they didn't really do anything with her calluses and we got the pedicure that had that included. I won't go back again. I was hoping it would be good as it is close to my house. read more

Walk into Sola and you will find Trendy Nails down the hall to your right. It's a small studio with two massage chairs for spa pedicures and two desks for manicures. I decided to try a pedicure. There were 3 options: Basic ($35), Deluxe ($50), and Trendy VIP ($75). The Basic is more of an express pedicure whereas the Deluxe includes everything the Basic does as well as a sugar scrub, mineral mask, and hot stones. The jasmine scent was perfect-- not too strong. (There were 3 other scents to choose from one of which I remember for certain was lavender and I think one may have been rose related). Also worth mentioning was that this place felt clean and didn't have a strong chemical smell like some other larger nail salons do-- I was very comfortable as a pregnant lady (smells can be overwhelming at times so I was grateful). The couple who owned the place were very personable (sorry, I forgot their names). They are originally from Vietnam but were able to hold conversations with me in English just fine. Overall, yes, I'd recommend Trendy Nails. Their prices are similar to other nail salons but their smaller studio feels more calm and relaxing. I also liked feeling like I was a special valued customer rather than just another person to process and get through.

Upon arriving Gwen and Ricky greeted us and attended us immediately. They offered some very tasty mimosas and got to work on our pedicures. Both were very nice and Ricky was did a great job through out and made sure to check throughout the pedicure if I was comfortable. They were both also very pleasant to talk to and very grateful of is as customers. I dont get pedicures often but will make sure to return here when one I need one.

The staff were so welcoming and made me feel like part of the family. The salon was clean and inviting, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain their services and answer any questions I had. I've become a regular at this nail salon and really love the service and the staff. They are very kind and provide a personalized approach with all their customers. I have never once received a bad service after going many times. I usually get a hard gel manicure and they last about 3 weeks (that's usually when they've become very grown out as my nails grow fast). Im also extremely hard on my nails and always had problems with them breaking before going to foxy nails. I could barely get one to two weeks out of a hard gel manicure and told Erik this the first time he did my nails and they have never once cracked, chipped, or broken since I've been going here. This place is awesome. Erik usually does my nails but I've had other technicians provide a service before and my sister also gets hard gel done here and the results are always consistently perfect. They are very competitive with their pricing and will make sure you leave happy. Give them a try and you likely will not be going anywhere else for your nail services. read more

I went in for a pedicure and full set. The guy I had the appt with was not there, because I was already getting my pedicure I thought I would just get a full set and try someone new. Biggest mistake! I kept telling the lady that what she was doing was not what I asked for. I felt bad because she kept saying they were beautiful but by the time she was done I was so frustrated I paid and left. They were so bad I didn't even want to show them. Luckily I went to get my hair done the same day and there was a nail tech in that location who fixed and redid my nails. I ended paying more and learned my lesson on both waiting to go to my usual people. Language is a huge factor there!!!! Pedicures there are amazing though! read more

I was initially happy with the first fill I received. Was treated well and I was happy. The second time my fill was rushed and many nails were uneven. I returned for a third and final time. The shape was off my fill was rushed and they did no cuticle work. It was very disappointing. I went to a different nail salon for my most recent set. I was informed that Foxy Nails had been using dental acrylic on my nails and my nail beds were damaged. As a licensed barber and cosmetologist myself. This was very alarming and upsetting. I've been coming to this salon for the last six months and have consistently been happy with their work, which is why I kept returning. I always get a perfect hard acrylic set and I leave a good review everytime. However, today's visit was a significant departure from my previous experiences. Despite arriving 10 minutes early for my appointment, I was left waiting for over an hour. During that time, I watched as numerous customers who arrived after me were promptly served. I had such a great experience at Foxy Nails! I booked with Kim, and she was absolutely amazing. She was super fast, efficient, and did exactly what I asked for with no problems at all. I got Gel-X nails for the first time, and I'm seriously obsessed with how they turned out -- I would 100% do them again! After my nails were done, I asked if they happened to have time to squeeze me in for a pedicure, and they were SO accommodating. i found tina when she was in beauty school and couldn't wait for her to find a salon to work at. when i went in to get my bi-weekly mani & pedi from laura & tina (vietnamese tina), i saw that she was working as the esthetician there & was thrilled! i immediately scheduled a facial & back facial (for different times) i have never had a more relaxing back facial in my life! the facial was to die for too, she only uses dermalogica (on herself & her clients) & won't prescribe products unless u need them...i love this place!!!! she's the only white person that works there, if you get confused ;) read more

I have going to Nick at Foxy Nails for over a year and I am thrilled with my pedicure every time. His relaxing leg massage is the best and my pedi lasts a long time. The shop is very modern and clean and the staff is uber polite and professional. Although I call ahead to set up an appointment, they are very accommodating to walk-ins. This salon is affordable, too!. On really, really busy days they might run a little short on hot water, but all in all you cannot go wrong. Oh, one other thing - at the end of your leg massage they use a hot ,steamed, scented towel. Pure pleasure. read more

I love Foxy Nails! Even though the location isn't the best in town, you'll be surprised when you walk in. The store is clean, the owner and staff are super nice, and the service is exceptional while affordable. Somehow, I tend to prefer the male manicurists (Don or Nick). Don has been there for a while and he's very good. Nick is new, but he's a funny guy and he always makes sure his customers are happy with the service. I went in for s basic pedicure and it was nothing but basic. The wait was a little longer than normal because they were very busy. While I was waiting they offered me a comfortable chair and different beverages. The pedicure was great! The gentleman doing it was talkative and very kind. He did a wonderful job asking how it felt and changing if needed. I did a gel pedicure and he took his time in making sure it was done well. Overall, I will be back! I have been going to Foxy Nails for about 3 years. It is a very nice nail salon. I have always been treated well there. They do a great job on my nails and toes! It is conveniently located off South Virginia near the Walmart Shopping Center. Their pricing is fair and it is easy to make an appointment. I usually go to Nick and JoAnne. Both do a great job. Hannah did such a wonderful job on both my feet and hands! Foxy nails has several massage pedicure chairs. The establishment is very clean and you can tell everyone who works there really enjoys each other's company. There was a lot of laughter and it made me very happy. So the first thing I look for in a salon is cleanliness. I think they recently remodeled Foxy Nails and it looks great. The salon was really clean - I didn't see any instance of dirty tools or anything like that. The nail techs were amazing. What an amazing experience! I haven't had my nails done for me in about a decade, and foxy nails does not mess around. I was a walk-in and received help in less than 20 minutes. A full set of quality acrylic nails cost me next to nothing compared to other salons in town. Service was kind and incredibly accommodating, and they even offered me a cuticle oil free of charge. I recently moved to Reno and was looking for a new place for my nails. I chose Foxy Nails because it's highly rated and happens to be close to where I live. I went here to get my nails done on the 7th of December and have issues with nails since then. 3 popped off within the first week. Thankfully they fixed those. But two others are lifting and my pinky nail just snapped in half which I was scratching my head. Terrible quality and am never coming back. read more
