Lily did an amazing job on my nails! I showed her the shape I wanted, and she absolutely nailed it- they turned out exactly how I pictured them. The color and finish are gorgeous, and I love how clean and polished they look. Beyond her talent, Lily is so sweet and easy to talk to. Great conversation, relaxing experience, and I genuinely enjoyed my appointment with her. I'll definitely be back!

Recently moved to Reno from the Bay Area so I have been trying all the Nail Salons to find my favorite. Booking was easy & seamless (which I love), was able to go online around 9am and get a same day appointment at 11. It was a little further than I expected from my house so I ended up running a bit late, gave them a call and they were nice & told me not to rush. Got there 10 min after appointment start time & did not have to wait to get started on my nails. The location had easy parking and inside was clean. Showed Kathy a picture of my nail inspiration & she said she could do it so from there my nails were in her hands. I'll upload the inspiration photo for you guys to compare but I would say she did a great job on execution. Jaime did my pedicure-I got the foxy signature with gel. I would post a photo of my toes as well but unfortunately those are for my Fiance only lol. My total came to $175 without tip and it took about 2 hours to be finished. But yeah 10/10.

Daughter and mom time at Foxy Nails today. Foxy nails didn't disappoint! We both opted for the deluxe gel pedicure which was about 60 each. loved how it didn't break the bank! The massage chairs felt so good. The whole process from start to finish was very pampering! We had a hot stone massage, lotion massage, warm towels applied in addition to our beautiful gel nail color application! I really appreciated the technician frequently checking in with me about the length of the nail, color.... Fantastic experience from start to finish! Thank you for such a relaxing mommy daughter date!

Yet again!!! They did so good Had Katie do my nails this time around. Same name lol! I let her have creative freedom on the design, and she did this swirly heart thing. Sooooo cute! They also do children's mani/pedis which are super affordable!

Im not happy with my full set of nails, it was rushed and they look horrible. I would not reccomend getting your hands done here, but the pedicure was great. The facility was clean

I needed a last minute pedicure and walked in at this place. They were able to take me in right away. I'm not going to lie, from the outside, I wasn't sure, if I was going to like it. But, once you're inside, you're greeted right away with good ambiance. The place was clean and spacious. I ended up getting the spa pedicure with gel nails. I thought the price was reasonable and the leg massage was great! Overall, great visit!

Amazing service from Lily! She is so fast and precise. Enjoyable pedicures & manicures. Love having sophie running around the shop.

First time came in for a simple acrylic set and i had a great experience! The gentleman who did my nails did a fantastic job and i will def be back for a pedicure.

Decided to re-review Foxy Nails as I realized my pedicure has the top coat missing on my left foot. None are protected with top coat. I didn't realize this till now. I don't know if I'll be coming back.

I was a walk in at 1pm and the place was already quite busy! I wanted a gel manipedi, they placed me with Pie after about a 5 min wait! She was an AMAZING person to do my nails! ‍ I havent had a pedicure in over 6 years (my feet are so extremely sensitive and ticklish) and she was incredibly gentle with me and checked in often to make sure she wasn't hurting me. The pedicure chairs and soaking tubs were all super clean and i loved that they used sterile packed single use tools for cuticle care and trimming! Pie did both my pedi and mani, (my manicure i had previously was from another salon who cut me during the process so I was nervous about getting another one). I was kind of nervous because my cuticles are thin and sensitive and easily painful, but again, Pie was super gentle and checked in every time I even flinched slightly to make sure I was okay! I'm super happy I came across this location! Everyone that I spoke to was very kind and polite and sweet. I just got the basic spa pedi with gel polish and a gel manicure with cateye gel. I'm super super happy and will 100% be coming back here!

Hi, I'm reaching out about my $106 manicure today with Oscar. I'm very disappointed with the service and would like to request a full refund. I'm a first-time customer here, and unfortunately this was a very bad experience. Oscar did not seem confident in what he was doing, and throughout the appointment it felt like his priority was getting my nails done as quickly as possible rather than taking care of my natural nails. The soak-off was especially concerning. Instead of properly soaking off my existing acrylics, he clipped them and then used a nail extension tip to force between my natural nail and the acrylic to pop them off. This was painful. Several hours after the appointment, the side of my thumb became sore, and now all of my nails feel really sore and sensitive. The pressure from the new nails is uncomfortable enough that I want to have them removed. I do not feel comfortable having them removed at your salon after the way my existing nails were removed, so I will be going somewhere else to have them taken off safely. I also had to remind Oscar to cut my cuticles, and there was no elaborate nail design or anything particularly complicated about the set. The appointment took a long time largely because the previous nails were not removed properly. At $106, I expect a professional, careful manicure. I don't feel that the quality of the service was anywhere close to what I paid for, and I'm especially unhappy that my natural nails were not handled with care. There was no cuticle pushing no prepping the nails at all no hot towel no lotion it was a horrible experience As a first-time customer, this experience has unfortunately left me very disappointed. I would like a full refund and would appreciate having this resolved directly.

Everything was FANTASTIC until the nail polish Unable to keep polish looking the same on all 10 toes. Redo big toe. Doesn't match other big toe? We can redo! No way. Asked for removal of all polish. Bummer. read more

I don't think I'd come back here again. First, I had an appointment for a gel manicure and had to wait 20 minutes to be seen by a nail tech. It was the same wait as all of the walk ins. Everyone was kind and I appreciated that. The next thing is that I was not sure how clean the tools were. I included a picture below of some cut on my finger and I am not sure where it came from. I also did not receive the correct color I asked for. If I knew how sanitary their tools were, I would possibly return but it wasn't worth it for me. read more

Pretty bummed. I just went here for a deluxe pedicure. I paid $65 for this. I had heard good things about this place but didn't experience this. I had a younger man (maybe 30 or 40) he wasn't friendly. I asked him not to cut my nails because he came to immediately cut them. My feet had only been soaking for maybe 4 minutes. He then shaped them how I asked and started the massage. He used a lotion and only did up and down motions. I was hoping for a massage I didn't really get. My best friend next me to got the same pedicure as me. After the lotion he applied an oil and then was done. In the deluxe is a mud mask which I didn't get. He then did the hot stones which only lasted 2 minutes. He then rushed through painting my nails and pretty much told me to leave. I asked about the mask and he said he did the oil instead without asking me. I paid for the more expensive pedicure so I could get more focused time, he didn't know much of anything on the extras so I'm pretty upset I paid so much for bar service. He was also immediately doing someone's nails seconds after finishing with me so it feels he just didn't want to serve me read more

I'm from out of town and broke a nail out here. I looked at so many shops and came across Foxy Nails. They had good reviews and nice nail pics! I called and asked if the had Gel-X nails, which they said they did. When I arrived and was seated she said she only had "hybrid" which I've never her of. But I trusted her. I had a previous set in my hands that I got done in LA. She offered (Hannah) to just fill and replace my broken nail . She left them so bulky and nail polish so uneven. When she finished I let her know they were bulky and I didn't like she proceeds to say "your old nails didn't need a fill" She honestly didn't care that I wasn't happy about them and didn't even offer to fix . Besides her horrible job she did in my nails her attitude was even worse. I don't expect them to become my friend but good customer service is always expected . read more

I was skeptical to go here because of some of the reviews, but I had a good experience. I did my pedicure first with Peter and then I went back the next day to get my manicure done by nail technician Peter. I am simple with what service I like, and Peter did just that. Peter did a foot massage that helped my aching feet. I was very pleased. Yes, there's a pet grooming service next door but the people in the nail salon are professional and friendly. This was the worst pedicure ever!! I was traveling for work and after a long week I thought getting a pedicure would be a great idea. I looked at the reviews and this place seemed ok. I made an appt for 5:40. When I arrived they asked me to pick a color, I asked for Gel but they didn't offer me the "ring of colors" I sat at the chair they started the water, but there was no jets just water. The Chair wouldn't move all the way back so it a little uncomfortable. About 5 mins into it something went wrong and water started spraying all over me and I was soaked absolute soaked my jeans were so wet. They gal and gentlemen just said "so sorry so sorry" I asked for a towel and they brought me one but it's wasn't enough to soak up all the water. I continued with my pedicure because at this point what was I going to do. They never offered me a menu to pick which service I wanted she just dipped my feet In the water, painted my toes with the color I picked and I was done. The pedicure may lasted about 30 mins!! I went to the front and she said $55 please! I said are you really going to make me pay you have completely soaked me.. she said yes $55 UNBELIEVABLE!! I walked to my car I had to sit on a plastic bag so my seat wouldn't get soaked from my wet jeans! This was the worst service I have had !! I understand that things happen and I was understanding but to make me pay for a terrible service is unreal!! read more

This time, I specifically requested a female nail technician because the male technicians I've had here in the past have been extremely rough--one even cut me. A coworker of mine has had a similar experience here, so I made a point of requesting a woman, hoping I would have a better experience. Unfortunately, I was given Lily, and today's experience was just as bad. I have been getting pedicures for over 25 years. I know what a good pedicure feels like, and I know when someone is being unnecessarily rough. Throughout the entire service, Lily was constantly grabbing, repositioning, and forcefully moving my foot every 30 seconds. I have NEVER experienced anything like it during a pedicure. It felt like I was being manhandled rather than receiving a relaxing $65 service. I specifically asked for my toenails to be cut VERY short and for the ingrown areas to be carefully cleaned out. Instead, Lily CUT MY FOOT. Then, to top it all off, the gel polish application looks terrible. The polish is pushed all the way down into my cuticles, and the edges are jagged and sloppy. For $65, I expect someone to be able to apply gel polish cleanly and professionally without injuring me in the process. A pedicure is supposed to be relaxing--not an experience where you're being jerked around by your feet, cut, and then sent home with sloppy polish. I have genuinely tried to give this place multiple chances because the location is so convenient, but convenience is not worth paying $65 to be manhandled, injured, and leave unhappy with the quality of the work. Unfortunately, after this experience with Lily, I will not be returning.

When I called from my own phone, I received a message indicating that my call was being screened and they were not accepting my call at that time. I then called from my husband's phone and was able to schedule the appointment without any issue. Shortly afterward, someone from the salon called my phone and told me that I was no longer allowed to receive services there and stated that they have the right to refuse service. I understand that businesses have the right to refuse service, but when I asked why, I was given no explanation. There was no apology, no clarification, and no attempt to address the situation. The response was very flat and dismissive. I had been going to this salon regularly since moving to Reno, probably around 10-12 times. The only interaction I can think of that may have led to this happened during my last appointment about three weeks ago. After I paid, I respectfully asked why the price seemed to change every time I came in. I had been charged anywhere from around $40 to $60 for similar services, so I simply wanted to understand what I should expect to pay moving forward. I was told the price depended on the nail technician. I then asked whether there was a more consistent or standard price because I wanted to know what I would be spending every few weeks. That was the entire conversation. I was not disrespectful, argumentative, or abrasive. If asking a reasonable question about inconsistent pricing is enough for a returning customer to suddenly be refused service, I think potential customers should be aware of that. Looking back, I also overlooked concerns about the cleanliness of the salon because I liked that they offered hybrid gel, which can be harder to find elsewhere. After this experience, I would not recommend this business based on the customer service, communication, cleanliness concerns, and overall management. Apparently I will not be returning, but I wanted other customers to be aware of my experience. If you have questions about pricing or your service, just know that asking for clarification was not received well in my experience.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Foxy Nail Salon and it was an absolute delight. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello. The staff were so welcoming and made me feel like part of the family. The salon was clean and inviting, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. The technicians were professional and knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain their services and answer any questions I had. I was especially impressed with the care and attention the owners provided to their clients. They genuinely care about each and every person that walks through their door and will go above and beyond to make sure they are satisfied with their service. The prices were very reasonable and the results were outstanding. My nails looked amazing and the color lasted for weeks. I would highly recommend Foxy Nail Salon to anyone looking for a great experience and quality service. I've become a regular at this nail salon and really love the service and the staff. They are very kind and provide a personalized approach with all their customers. I have never once received a bad service after going many times. I usually get a hard gel manicure and they last about 3 weeks (that's usually when they've become very grown out as my nails grow fast). Im also extremely hard on my nails and always had problems with them breaking before going to foxy nails. I could barely get one to two weeks out of a hard gel manicure and told Erik this the first time he did my nails and they have never once cracked, chipped, or broken since I've been going here. This place is awesome. Erik usually does my nails but I've had other technicians provide a service before and my sister also gets hard gel done here and the results are always consistently perfect. They are very competitive with their pricing and will make sure you leave happy. Give them a try and you likely will not be going anywhere else for your nail services. read more

I went in for a pedicure and full set. The guy I had the appt with was not there, because I was already getting my pedicure I thought I would just get a full set and try someone new. Biggest mistake! I kept telling the lady that what she was doing was not what I asked for. I felt bad because she kept saying they were beautiful but by the time she was done I was so frustrated I paid and left. They were so bad I didn't even want to show them. Luckily I went to get my hair done the same day and there was a nail tech in that location who fixed and redid my nails. I ended paying more and learned my lesson on both waiting to go to my usual people. Language is a huge factor there!!!! Pedicures there are amazing though! read more

I always get a perfect hard acrylic set and I leave a good review everytime. However, today's visit was a significant departure from my previous experiences. Despite arriving 10 minutes early for my appointment, I was left waiting for over an hour. During that time, I watched as numerous customers who arrived after me were promptly served. My issue is specifically with the nail service I received from Nancy. Before we started, I explained that I wanted my cuticles cleaned. At other salons, and even at this location years ago when I used to go to Queenie, my cuticles were always cleaned before the acrylic was applied. This time, Nancy waited until after the acrylic was already on to clean them. I even asked during the service when she was going to do my cuticles and was told "not yet." Because the acrylic was already applied when she finally did them, I don't feel like they were cleaned properly, and she also ended up cutting the corner of my right thumb while doing them. I was also charged an additional $15 for the cuticle service, which was disappointing because they still don't look properly cleaned. I asked for a skinny square shape, but the finished nails look much wider than what I requested. The acrylic also feels extremely thin, and overall I am just not happy with how my nails look or feel. There was also very little communication during the appointment other than being asked what color I wanted. I understand every nail technician has a different personality, but when you're paying for a service, communication about what you want and whether you're happy with the shape and nails makes a big difference. I also want to make it very clear that the price was NOT the issue. I was told the price, agreed to it, paid $95, and still left Nancy a $10 tip. I am willing to pay for quality work and good service. I didn't complain while I was there because I didn't want to make a big deal or make anyone uncomfortable, but after looking at my nails, I honestly regret not speaking up. For $105 total, I expected to leave loving my nails, and unfortunately I didn't. Tony was very rude. I asked him to fix the shape of one of my nails and he took it out on my entire…read morepedicure. Worst pedicure I've ever gotten. Everyone else here is great! But tony just isn't. The skin around my nail was cut up, the nail was left uneven, the polish was splotchy, the corners of my nails are sharp and getting caught on my socks. He left my pedicure without a word and before I could stand up he's putting a new bag in the bowl. (Which makes me think he does this with everyone) I wonder whose feet were in the bowl before mine. No massage or anything! At the end of my pedicure I spoke up and the owner Anna offered to redo the pedicure and she did absolutely amazing. She was very kind about it and I left feeling much better about my entire experience. Thank you Anna! And thank you Munn for doing an absolutely amazing job on my moms pedicure.
