I scheduled my rehearsal dinner with them three months ago, filled out paperwork and put down a deposit. When we arrived, they told my mother in law that they didn't know we were coming and were so unprepared. the manager was so unprofessional telling us that it was our problem. we confirmed 53 people coming a few days before and the room was not set up for even 50 people. we had to bring in tables and chairs from outside ourselves they did not even try to help. the food was decent, definitely not what we had discussed a few days prior. highly do not recommend for larger groups or anything you have to plan ahead of time, especially if you don't want to deal with a manager telling you it's your fault not theirs. I would give zero stars if possible!!!!! read more

Feel so bad for the servers but wow! This was bad. So good is decent do it takes a lot to earn a one star. It's Mother's Day and in taking my mom out. By the way, I am STILL HERE WITHOUT OUR MAIN DISH! Anyways, it almost 7:00 and we made reservations for 5:00! They told us they could seat us but couldn't take our order for 45 minutes. Why? Couldn't even take out order? They said the kitchen was short staffed. We said we'd wait. There are only 4 other tables and I'll add a pic to show it. So 40 minutes later they tell us it will be ANOTHER 30 minutes to ge our order. We noticed only 3 tables without food at this point and dozens of take out flying out the door... seems fair, right? I called their phone number and asked how long a take out order would be and they said 15-20 minutes!!! So clearly the don't care about their clients who actually come in to dine. The pizza is good thin crust this year, back to old taste. Not the soggy over-crusted that was presented for a while. Im done there with them now. I was regular customer whenever I wasn't working out of town. New management is horrible. The place is turning into a ghost Bar. I don't see any of the regulars there anymore. The staff doesn't look happy. New management appears very arrogant and disillusioned. One costumer like me not coming back wont make the difference but I feel Im not the first or last. Being a person that would frequent there often through the years. The trend there is a place that has been in decent. The last straw and it wasn't about the money. Half price Dine in Wednesday. Changed to 6 dollar off smalls not half price. No big deal, I should have asked after going there for 10 years. What got my attention and how i found out was that my bill for 16.50 for small sausage and mushroom pizza said 50 percent off dine in but only took 6.00 off. When I questioned this the bartender went to ask the manager and she came back and said "he said it was the new computer system. Things would be different back to normal in future". Not really caring about the fact the could have just figured out how to compensate for there new computer system. Realizing the new manager was 8 feet away and didn't even explain himself, I could see how this business is just sliding deeper into the abyss. I just chalked it all up. I ordered some fried chicken for Mother's Day. Called at 12:00 for a 3:30 delivery time. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. At 3:45 I called back to find out where our food was. The guy that answered the phone had a nasty attitude with me. Telling me they have a lot of orders and we don't guarantee times. Well that's not what the girl I talked to originally said. This place has an awesome feel. The landscaping in back is amazing. The pizza was delicious, and their menu has everything. We used their party room, and the waitress was excellent. She handled our very large pay very well. Only star loss is for having to many things on menu. read more

First of all the pizza is great. That wasn't the issue. This is possibly the worst service I've ever had. Waited an hour to be sat. Once we were sat we ordered everything together pizza and drinks only. We were with a little boy who got milk and his milk didn't come until the pizzas came. A glass broke on the table due to it being hot and a cold beverage was put in it and water and pop spilled all over us, we ordered 3 pizzas 2 came out and the third one took an extra 20 minutes. Our server never checked on us and we ask for the manager...his name was Sean. We spoke with him and his excuse was it's a busy night...no apologies or anything. To top it off...he gave us our bill with not one thing taken off. And the waitress was very apologetic for his lack of understanding. I wish I could speak with the owner...disgrace. This is a great place for carry-out. I obviously have had some problems with dining in. I had a coupon but forgot that Tuesday's is half price pie. Awsome! This was my first time at Fox's and I wouldn't go back based on my experience tonight. We were one of only five table and waited 25 minutes for our appetizer (stuffed portabello mushroom). When it arrived it looked like a gellatinous goo bath...so much cheese and oil and spinach. And the portabello was obviously from a can. The entrees were a little bit better but not very flavorful. The gravy on the mashed potatoes was gross and my angel hair, chicken and asparagus entree had very little flavor. I'd heard that Fox's is known for their pizza, so maybe we should have gotten that, but you'd think an established restaurant could get a clue how to make other items on their own menu. read more

My friend and I met here after work for a drink and an appetizer. We went to a hightop bar table and waited and waited and waited. Finally we went to the bar and we were still ignored! This was a good ol' boys bar and there were ten or so men at the bar that were apparently getting great service! We finally got the bartender to get us a drink and that was the end of it. Had my parents' retirement party here on the back patio. We had drinks and the unlimited pizza. They brought out 8 pizzas for seventy people and didn't bring more for half an hour. It was embarrassing and people were thinking that was all the food we ordered. We also had open bar, but the servers were not attentive. I would not recommend having a large party here. I honestly don't understand how people can leave bad reviews for the pizza from Fox's. Never heard of this place but my roommate ordered one last night. I've eaten a lot of pizza in my life. This one brought me back to my childhood, eating Danny's pizza on the south side of Chicago. Best pizza I've ever eaten. This was the first pizza I've had that really transported my tastebuds back to Danny's. This place has been around for a while and it really shows. They've got their pizza game perfected. A little pricey but definitely worth it in my opinion. We got a thin crust sausage, pepperoni and green pepper. I can't comment on their other food, yet. Large thin sausage, mushroom, and extra cheese pizza, $30 picked up: The good: The crust was thin and crispy It was nice and hot It was on time - done in 20 minutes not too much sauce, and what's there is not acidic The bad: Salty, salty, salty There is SO much fennel in the sausage that it might as well be another topping. Seriously, if you don't like fennel, skip the sausage completely, there is a ton of it. Whole seeds in fact. The extra cheese - was all in the middle 6 inch diameter in the middle of the pizza. The outer 2 inches of the pizza had NO cheese on it at all. In short, good - not great - taste, nice crispy crust, but back off the fennel and spread out the damn cheese, and at $30 bucks it's no bargain. No return order for me at Foxes on Wolf. read more

The receptionist and manager were very rude last night Friday February 26th. I witnessed them refuse an open table to a family who had brought their daughter to perform as part of an Irish step dancing show for customers. The dancers nor parents who bring them are compensated for their time and gas money, so the least the restaurant could do was allow them to eat at an open table. Went there for lunch yday 12-01-2011; it wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. I know it was a lunch time, we were like the second table there. Food was warm, portions were good but they weren't better than somewhere else. I had the steak sandwich and it was fine, there was a huge chunk of fat that fell off. Who knows? Will try it again sometime. The service was fine so that is something. Probably won't go back unless I have a coupon of some kind. read more

We recently held a celebration banquet dinner for 30 plus people in honor of the newest member of our family - the first grandchild. We went with a pizza & pasta package and it was fantastic! We added a pitcher of sangria and ordered drinks from the bar. Everyone really enjoyed the food and drinks. We had the best server EVER, Heather, fast service and she was extremely attentive and sweet! Our dinner was held in the patio room and it was perfect - very clean, a great view of a waterfall, and access to the outside right from the room. My only critique would be for the managers (or owners) that were walking around all night to smile more and be more friendly - it would help make it more inviting.10 out of 10 will definitely have another party there! read more

Friendly staff & better than average pizza in a cozy, nice, family restaurant. One side has a central bar for adults while they always seem to have something fun for kids. The pizza was good I have never had bad za at fox's. Our server was great you never had to ask for refills on pop she just did it and same for beer she knew I was thirsty. Pizza was pretty good. Went on the Friday before St. Pat's day. The place was packed. The bagpipe player was good but our ears are still ringing from it being so LOUD! We could hardly hear our waitress. The crowd was quite the mix of people, young, old, polished and unpolished. A little expensive but a good new experience. Had pizza which is terrific from carry out. Went with my mom and son to dine in...not so great. My mom had prime rib which came with just the meat, 1/4 of it fatty. No veggies or potatoes for 12 bucks...ridiculous/ my son had a hamburger and when he picked it up the bun crumbled from being old. I had lasagna and being a good eater who can eat almost anything, you know it's bad if I only ate 2 bites. I think the salt shaker was poured on it in the kitchen. So when I told the waiter, his response was"well I've heard 1/2 bad and 1/2 good. I like Italian food so I would not ever order it" What? That's a bizarre comment. So after I paid the 42.00 bill, we left. And I will never dine in again. Leave it at the pizza...it's the best bet. read more
