This was my second time here and I already look forward to coming back! It's a seat yourself, order online situation, and then they bring you your food. It's casual (but still $$) and a perfect spot for lunch, with an expansive menu ranging from relatively healthy to deliciously indulgent (you must try the Cheese Curds)! The woman who brought our meals was cheerful and warm, and downtown Frankfort feels quaint. Things to note: ample lot parking; you can bring your own water bottle or get a disposable cup at the inside counter; I chose to sit outside both times, but 1) not all of the tables have the QR code for whatever reason and 2) there may be yellow jackets so decide at your own risk. read more

First time coming here. Me and my wife missed the opportunity to come here last time since it closes a bit early. Great little breakfast / lunch establishment. They do dine in and take out. Some menu items are a bit pricey but I ordered their California panini with a side of fries. Absolutely delicious meal. Fries are well made as well. They serve mocktails too which is great to see. Stopped by Cultivate in downtown frankfort on Sunday morning. They have a decent amount of seating inside and a couple of covered tables outside. When one enters, you review the menu to order at the main counter. You'll get a number for the runners to later bring the food out to your table. Prices were pretty decent and portions were large. I got the Breakfast Panini where one is allowed to choose their preferred meat, cheese, and egg style for the sandwich. My panini bread was a little well done and the sandwich could severely have benefitted from avocado or a sauce. My friend got the beast burrito which looked colorful and delicious. The truffle fries were perfect to share and actually had a lot of the truffle topping throughout. We both ended up leaving with leftovers which is great! I'd definitely come back to Cultivate to try other menu items! read more

No frills restaurant with *amazing* food. My spicy chicken sandwich was, by far, the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Hands down. The chicken was juicy, the crust crunchy, the spice level was hot enough to make me take notice but not so hot that I couldn't eat it. And this sandwich was BIG. Worth every penny. Believe it or not there seems there's a lot of cool restaurants are in Frankfort. It really is kind of unexpected because this seems like a kind of boring suburb. Cultivate is a good place for those with dietary restrictions and those looking for something generally healthy. Find lots of interesting things such as noodles. They also have drink and appetizer specials going on a lot, so check out the menu for things. After hearing about this place, we made our way to town and downtown. It actually was pretty quiet when we got here. This was luckily not a bad sign. After looking over the menu, it was hard to choose. So many good healthy things. Also there's alcohol. They make a good Bloody Mary. It's $7 and you get your choice of vodka and garnish. Tito's is a couple bucks more. Of course we cheaped out, but these still were really good. The food was good but expensive for portions. She had the Buddha Bowl. This had rice and vegetables. I had the Noodle Bowl. It's about $15 for a partially filled bowl of baby greens, edamame, onions, rice noodles, root vegetables, sze chuan sauce, and tomatoes. Good but not enough. They could have easily put in a lot more at no higher of a price. Gets good crowds at lunch. Went to get a carry out lunch order for the family. Girl taking the order was great a she double check that the order was entered correctly. Food came out in a timely fashion. The kitchen made a couple of mistakes a they gave me the wrong soup and forgot one of the items on a sandwich. I used to come here all the time when it was White Street Cafe and I love that I am still able to get a variation of what I would always get. I ordered a breakfast bowl with potatoes as a base, zucchini, bacon, feta, grilled onions, and over easy eggs. Everyone at the table got a variation of the breakfast bowl and everyone was very happy with their meals. Gluten free toast was a huge hit for all of us! Can't wait to try some of their gluten free bakery items. I love that Cultivate is open later now and offers dinner. The cafe is clean, staff is friendly and they have so many gluten free options to choose from! We almost always get the breakfast bowls and of course a Mimosa for me :). Very cute brunch spot in downtown Frankfort. There is a parking area that is shared with other businesses so plenty of parking available. The restaurant offers a sort of self service with QR code menu, toast tab (pay online). You can also order at the bar. Yes, I said bar, they offer cocktails and coffee. The food is delivered to your table and you do not have to wait long. I had the breakfast tacos and it came with an avocado cream (delicious and spicy). The tacos were very fresh. I also ordered a mimosa and they did not short you on the champs. I wanted a pancake but noticed it did not come as an option on the online menu. The tacos were very filling and I was only able to eat one and took the second one to go. They use a lot of paper products, however, your food is delivered to you on a plate. The waitress was able to order me one pancake and I paid via Apple Pay on their portable pay device. Everyone that worked there was very friendly and I definitely would visit again shall I am in the area. Try it out if you are and you will not be disappointed. read more

Out total was over $40 which meant free delivery -- greatly appreciated in these weird times. Really enjoyed the bahn mi wrap and fried green tomato BLT. They left one of our sides out of the bag but when we called about it the immediately sent another driver to us and we had it in no time. Tried the Salmon BLT today and have to say it was really good. Flavor was excellent. I would order this again for sure. Sorry no pics as I was half way through before I thought about taking one. Only change I would make is the Salmon was think in the middle and could have been spread out to cover the whole sandwich. I did this before eating the second half and it was a game changer. Also loved the sweet potato fries, they were huge and there were plenty of them. Some of the better SPF I've had. My wife had the Southtown dip and loved the flavor with a touch of heat to it. Ordered the salmon avocado toast and fried green tomato BLT with smoked thick-cut bacon and pimento cheese. Both meals were well prepared, tasty and smoked salmon was super fresh. Also tried the bang bang cauliflower which came to the table hot and delicious; lightly battered with a pleasant crunch. The Asian flavor was amazing. I really enjoyed the outdoor seating patio; it was casual but very clean and the service was great. I really like the small town feel of this place like you're at home eating a home cooked meal. I will definitely visit this place again next time I'm in town for breakfast brunch. In some of the reviews, few said the pricing is high but you get what you pay for when you have fresh ingredients above the average restaurant where all the food taste the same. From my first experience it seems they try to stand above your normal breakfast and lunch fare with fresh ingredients and herbs so I do appreciate that as a Foodie. Went here last Sunday for our second visit. Our first visit was nice and the food and staff was good. Sunday was quite different... the chicken salad sandwich was bland and dry. The grilled cheese sandwich was very good as were the fries $17.00 for a sandwich and a Coke is bit much , especially charging $3.50 for a fountain drink. Our biggest beef is the staff.... the guy manning the register was a clown... rude, unhelpful and unfriendly. Not only to me but to my girlfriend as well. In the Chicago metropolitan area, there are a few top dawgs for me. Lucy's, The Budlong, and Fry The Coop come to mind. Chains far and wide, Chick fil A and Popeyes do just fine. But Cultivate in Frankfort, IL holds its own. They are certainly growing something special here on a local level. Hopefully they keep up the good work for years to come. Cultivate has gone dramatically downhill since it opened (couple of years ago). When it opened, the food was fresh and the services/employees were wonderful. Now, they have constant employee turnover and the food is so bad, that we completely stopped ordering from there. The owner/chef is never there and maybe if he was, the food wouldn't be so brutal.
