So excited to see Gatto's Tinley Park expand around the corner and offer tavern style pizza! They've been open for a week and a half and have hit the ground running! Pizzas are offered in 12" and 16" sizes with a variety of topping options. Additionally, they offer slices to go with a can of soda and weekly specialty pizzas. This week's was a Beef and Giardiniera pizza! Calling in our pizza was easy. The staff member said 45-50 minutes but was actually ready in about 30-35. I liked that they told me the total on the phone before going in for pick up. The staff was all smiles and excited to be open. The pizzas do have a thinner, cracker-like crust. I loved the crust to sauce to cheese ratio as they all balanced each other out. The sauce was a true Italian red sauce that fell more on the savory side but the cheese blend was delicious with even some parmesan and herbs sprinkled on top. The pizza was a hit for me and I will certainly be back for more!

This pizza is so bland, I questioned if I had a cold and lost my sense of taste. Fortunately, I was in good health and unfortunately this pizza is lacking flavor. I was really excited too, bc I enjoy the food at Gatto's Italian restaurant. There are so many better choices than this for pizza, I'm concerned for their longevity if they don't improve their recipe. Even the picture of their pizza doesn't look like a quality standard of pizza from Chicagoland. Disappointed to the max.

Was in town for work and was looking for some good pizza and found yall on yelp. Best thin crust pizza I've ever had the sauce was nice and wasn't sweet like a lot of places which I prefer. The owner, I think he was, was very nice and even offered a drink. I was planning on saving half for dinner tomorrow but it was so delicious I ate the whole thing. I wish yall were in Texas where I live because I'd be one of your top repeat customers it's that good.

The pizza was very tasty the crust was delicious and crispy, the sauce and cheese were very good, this place will definitely be on my go to places for pizza when I'm in the mood

    Pepperoni pizza

good potential and prices, but the pizza both looks and tastes like it's been sitting there for hours when you get by the slice. might as well go to the speedway and get their pizza cause it'll be just the same.

Old reheated pizza. Don't ever get their slices. Consider yourself warned.

We immediately notice it was a disco vibe with huge red rounded booth tables that surrounded the restaurant. Such a friendly and inviting atmosphere it was! The crowd was very much present and involved! Favorite singalongs and drinks were served proportionally. Our first sever was named Joe. He was very much rude and disrespectful. The manager dealt with her employee very professionally. We then received a server who knocked the ball out the park! We didn't have to lift a finger or a word for anything. Her named was Gabriela. The perfect gal for the job! She loved her job and enjoyed making her customers happy. She was great! For starters We order a 1/2 dozen wood fired oysters with flavored: Rockefeller, Chipotle Butter and the Garlic & Herb Butter. AMAZINGLY CLAMMY! So freaky good! Crab cakes were tasty. Our entrees were 2 of the 14oz ribeye with whole roasted garlic and Vinny's steak sauce. And of course With a side of sautéed shrimp. Both were delicious and tender. Girls night was a blast! And Vinny's Clam Bar was the perfect spot! Good food, great company with a dope atmosphere! Check em out!

We tried the Peachtree, Rappahannock, and 1871 raw oysters. The entree I tried the whitefish picada. We both agreed the 1871 oysters were the better ones, as they were clean and slightly briny. My colleague ordered the Ceasars salad and the salmon dish. He said the salmon was really good, but the Ceasars salad was bland. I liked my white fish dish, even though it was a bit mushy. Interesting features at Vinny's obviously includes the revolving front entry door, the picture frames on the walls, the hand wash sink in the dining room, the disco ball, and the lively atmosphere. Don't forget to look for the Hulkster's yellow boots in the men's restroom.

The food was excellent and especially the beef sandwiches. Really were excellent quality and flavor and the sandwiches were huge. Also a few days later the morning we left Tinley Park to head back to Iowa I stopped at the store to buy a few cannolis to take home with me. They also were excellent. And the sandwiches, salads, and cannolis were very reasonably. I definitely recommend this vendor.

Not good. Not good. Not good. Regrettably ordered two "made to order" sandwiches from their deli…read morecounter. Both sucked BIG TIME. First sandwich was a custom sub sandwich of turkey, Genoa salami, and rosemary ham with cheese, tomatoes, vinegar/oil, and Italian spices. How a sandwich could taste funny is beyond me, but it did. The meat tasted old and was flavorless. It was pre-cut, not freshly cut meat, so who knows how long it had been sitting out in the counter. The bread was stale, could have broke windows with it. They barely put any meat on it (not that I would have wanted more), the sandwich was all bread. No Italian herbs on sandwich. And the icing on the cake, instead of putting a nice, fresh vinegar and oil/sub oil on the sandwich, I was given a two ounce little package of some generic vinegar and oil that was pre-fabricated by some wholesale company, which also tasted really off. The second regrettable purchase was an Italian sausage sandwich. That too was horrendous. The sausage itself had a funny, off taste, not a nice blend of seasonings. And not that I would have wanted more, but the Italian sausage was old and shriveled, so it was like a child-size portion. I asked for some red sauce on the side, let's just say Ragu would have been better, and that's not saying much. To add further insult to injury, the bun was stale. Also got some Nutella butter cookies that they farm in from D'Amatos that is in the city. I have been in D'Amatos and I love their cookies. With that said, these D'Amato cookies were stale/also tasted off. The tip-off should have been the fact that they must have had fifty or more packaged D'Amatos cookies on their shelf. They are bumping $10.00 for around maybe 12 cookies, so they obviously don't sell all that quickly, turn stale, and there you have it. Also weird vibe in there. The employees (including the Rubino son who is always in the deli area) are not friendly at all. I might be a little bit more forgiving if the employees/owner were nice but they are just really indifferent and very unfriendly (especially the owner). Very unfortunate. Sandwiches from Subway would have been better.

Every Lou Malnati's pizza is handmade from scratch using the finest and freshest ingredients. Every year, the Malnati team hand selects California vine-ripened tomatoes for the perfect sweet and tangy taste. The fresh mozzarella cheese comes from the same small dairy that has supplied Lou Malnati's for over 40 years. And the family's secret recipe for flaky, buttery crust has been passed down from generation to generation. The restaurant has a very industrial and mechanical vibe like downtown Chicago. We were greeted promptly and seated in a booth in the dining area. The service was very attentive and friendly and engaged with us in light conversation. We ordered the Malnati Chicago Classic pizza made with Lou's lean sausage, some extra cheese and vine-ripened tomato sauce on Buttercrust in size medium that was perfect for 3 people. It takes a while for the pizza to be made and baked because it is fresh. The pizza was made fresh with fresh tomatoes for the red sauce and had generous toppings. It was served fresh from the oven and the waitress cut the pizza for us and served us at the table. The cheese was stretching when she was serving the pizza. Enjoyed our experience at this restaurant and a chance to try the Chicago deep dish pizza while on our trip.
