The best thin crust tavern style pizza in Orland Park

After effin up my pizza twice and giving me a sad salad, just ignore my 1st review of these incompetent people and stick with the place in Homer Glen. You will fair better.

Those are the fatty pieces literally

Anthony's usually is pretty decent food but yesterday we ordered four steak grinder sandwiches. Unfortunately, all the sandwiches have so much fat pieces in it. My wife wouldn't eat it. The picture I showed is from just the third of one of the sandwiches. This is the fat that came out of the third of a sandwich won't order those again I recommend for 11+ dollars don't get it.

Steve is super friendly! We visited from Utah for business and leisure and he made us feel at home. My spouse is a Chicago native and we have found it difficult to find good pizza in Utah, so of course the first meal we wanted in Chicago was pizza. Stop in and see Steve--he will take good care of you.

Fantastic four pizza

This is a tough one. I came across this place from the yelp app. Passing through Homer Glen, I had a craving for pizza. Ordered a medium Fantastic Four. The owner was super friendly and welcomed me as a new customer. He even showed me the pizza, which looked great on top. However, when I bit into the pizza, i could tell two things... one: there was very little sausage and two: it wasn't cooked all of the way. The dough was actually very light on the bottom and wet in the middle. I snatched a piece in the car, as it looked so good I didn't want to wait til I got home to try it. Just wanted to sneak a piece. The sauce is a good sweet sauce and the overall taste was average. Due to the lack of sausage and rawness of dough, I gave it three stars. Would I try it again? Yes I would and next time I'll ask for well done.

Look at all that chicken in the creme of chicken soup!!!

Went to Frankie's tonight, had an awesome & amazing dinner, food was +10 above excellent (Blackened…read moreSalmon). My waitress (Alex)was very nice and detailed, she knew the whole menu and some very great suggestions that did not disappoint me. My only gripe was that my mix drink (LIT) could have been a little more stronger, still awesome dinner overall. Thanks Alex, Thanks Frankie's

This is a hard 4.5 star rating on its way to the 5. My first…read morevisit I wanted to grant the 5 star rating, although, I had to hold back to be fair. I know it'll be there by my next visit, which will be soon. A seller for me is homemade pasta with an option for gluten free. If it was organic it's a hard 5. No judgement though. Frankie's is the spot where you park up by 3:45/3:50 and wait for the doors to open as their hours are short, hot and sweet. This is a tucked away spot packing tons of flavor on the small menu(major hit). Locals pack this spot asap at the bar so be there by 3:45. Haha. The restaurant has nice decor and attentive friendly service. As the server comes to the table with heavy greetings, they run down the special menu. Drinks are always good, nothing intricate but enough to elevate the experience and hit hard. The appetizers are good. I enjoyed the calamari and shrimp as well as the octopus. But now to the star of the show is their pastas. FRIENDLY REMINDER, all are homemade. The Pappardelle w/ Wide Ribbon Pasta, Black Truffle Cream Sauce and Mushrooms is amazing.. I added the gluten free meatballs and yummy. A savory bite. The rigatoni vodka sauce(added sausage) was a hit. Another star of the table was the Linguine w/ Shrimp,Broccoli, Evoo and Garlic. A fully loaded plate. The Gnocchi w/ Ricotta Cheese Filling, vodka sauce.. added meatballs was another hit. The star of the show was our pizza which resembles a meat lovers with pepperoni, Sopressata and Giardiniera (which is more like a relish and I love). I've had other dishes but after multiple countless visits this is what I love at this time. The pizza is cooked in a high heat oven which gives the perfect char, let it settle for a couple minutes as it sits on the table. Overall, when in this part of Illinois hands down the place to be. Hours are only 4-9pm and that says a lot. My only insight would be ask for the bread to be served warm. I'm sure a fresh loaf in the pizza oven for a couple of minutes will go a long way. ENJOY!

I placed an online order on a Wednesday for their chicken dinner special which is two dinners for…read more$30 and you get your choice of several different options. Whereas some restaurants make you get two of the exact same thing I was able to get two different dinners I chose the chicken tetrazzini and the chicken cacciatore. I also chose to get soup which is an add-on, which was cream of potato, their cucumber, tomato, and onion salad. Would you buy by the pint and with the dinners I added it on a salad, which I know was an up charge, but I really don't know how much extra it was now for the food. It arrived and under an hour and everything was hot as though I ate it there, which is very unusual for most of my deliveries anywhere. The individual salads are a good size and the lettuce looked fresh. It also is garnished with onion and cherry tomatoes. The potato soup was on the thick side. I would prefer it a little thinner, but I was saving it for another day so I'll just send it out before I reheat it. The cucumber, tomato onion salad could've used a little more dressing sometimes it's gotten a lot more sitting in the bottom, but this time it wasn't. The chicken and the chicken cacciatore was too nice sized chicken breast sitting on a bed of mostaccioli with the kids to sauce, which is a tomato based wine sauce with green peppers, mushrooms, and onions. I don't eat mushrooms or green peppers so I had the moment however the chicken was so tender and tasty. It was one of the best things I've had in a long time. The chicken tetrazzini I was saving for the next day meal, but just for sake of argument I wanted to taste it because sometimes I wait till another day when I've ordered something and then find out somethings wrong with it. This two was a good portion. It was a nice amount of sauce to noodles. This chicken is diced, and this two has mushrooms and onions in it however, again I left the mushrooms out and then it has a thin layer of mozzarella cheese melted across the top. For everything I got I thought it was a good deal the portion sizes one dinner would've been enough for two people. The chicken Ketura easily could've fed two people. The chicken tetrazzini could as well, especially if you have a salad or soup as a side or even the cucumber, tomato onion salad. Their delivery charge is only three dollars, which is a bargain nowadays, but do you have food delivered this hat and fresh was awesome. I've read some of the reviews about people eating at the restaurant. I've beaten at the restaurant. I agree it is a little dated. I've never had an issue with flies anymore so than other restaurants that I've eaten in especially during summer months service has been good. I've enjoyed their pizza on Mondays. It's 25% off. Their beef sandwiches are excellent and on Thursdays those are special as well and Tuesday it's the other pasta dishes, such as lasagna and mostaccioli, etc. the specials are good. The portions are generous and I think it's worth giving it a try.

Walking in, it's a time capsule - I swear it's the same decor from the mid 80's. Sat at the bar, very nice and attentive bartender. She said pizza was 25% today, so I went with it and ordered the small 10". While I waited, I started looking around. The glasses hanging above me were pretty covered in several months of dust (at least). Thankfully my glass was clean. Went to use the bathroom, and despite the obvious upkeep neglect - it was pretty grungy. The pizza was okay, but not great. I'm sure my concerns over cleanliness didn't help. But, the fruit fly's kept me company. The value wasn't great either, as my small 2 item pizza was pushing $18 with the discount. Unless they totally remodel and clean this place, I'd stay away.
