Pizza Mia is a staple in Homer Glen, so seeing a New Lenox location meant we had to try it -- and it delivered exactly the classic experience you expect. We started with the sampler appetizer, which comes loaded with chicken tenders, fried mushrooms, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks. It's a lot of fried food, sure, but that's the contract you sign when you order it. Everything hit the spot. Pro tip: get the ranch and their garlic dipping sauce -- the garlic sauce especially takes the onion rings to a new level. The thin crust pizza was exactly what it should be: the perfect balance of sauce, cheese, and toppings. And then... The Chub. An Italian beef baked into a pizza, served with au jus. It's not for the faint of heart, and you'll end up feeling like you just finished a seven-course meal, but it's a one-of-a-kind Italian beef pizza delicacy that nobody else offers. Overall, Pizza Mia is a treat, not an everyday spot -- mainly because I can't walk in without ordering The Chub, and honestly, I think you can only legally consume The Chub twice a year. read more

Their pizza is on a whole other level than ANY OTHER PLACE outside of the city. Sausage is the best I've ever had in my life. Not sure if it's made in house but it's incredible. I order my pie well done, crust is crazy full of flavor. I would've given 5 stars but once in a while my pizza just gets forgotten about by staff. Showed up cold a couple times. The younger girls at the counter have the worst Attitudes. The one was yelling at the other so disrespectfully. It made me uncomfortable. Not only that but they took down my order wrong. Instead of a large they gave me a medium. $26 for a pizza that barely fed my family is outrageous!!! The quality isn't the best. Let me start out by saying we used to go to their location when they were on Harlem all the time then that closed and moved to New Lenox , the good news is I love broasted chicken and theirs is no exception it's very good, the bad is the prices have gone up and their chickens are half the size they used to be, the drum sticks are tiny, the wings little to very little meat, and the biggest piece is usually the breast, well that's shrunk down to the size of a thigh, so we have decided to look else where and it's even closer, every bit as good and much bigger and juicy pieces, I get chicken prices went up but I'm comparing chicken to chicken there is a new place on Rte 45 Lagrange road just North Texas Road house ....winner winner chicken dinner read more

Arrived five minutes early and order was just coming out. They seem to have a large delivery operation as a few drivers were taking out pizzas to deliver. Place was clean inside. The portions are large, they work with your budget, and the food is consistently absolutely delicious - not to mention that they are a pleasure to work with: personable, timely, very professional. Pizza Mia is pretty good and very close to my house, so we've ended up ordering there a few times lately. I've only tried the thin crust, which is just okay. I hate that they don't have any specialty pizzas, making my favorite pizza (a selection of veggies) impossibly expensive. The last time, I ordered it with the toppings I didn't have in the house, and then sauteed my own spinach and green olives at home. I know that sounds cheap, but I really can't spend $20 on a basic, medium-sized thin crust pizza that's not much better than frozen pizza from the grocery store. The boyfriend really loves the chicken, so he's been ordering from there a lot. He gets the 8 piece without the potatoes, and sometimes they charge less for leaving the potatoes off and sometimes they don't, which bugs me. read more
