Love Rosatis in New Lenox. They have the sit down restaurant with a full bar which is clean and spacious. It can get busy but the staff keep movin and turning tables. We were sat right away and had a server in minutes. I was there with 4 very indecisive kids and the waitress was very patient and was dead on with all our orders. The pizza and the garlic cheesy bread both came out piping hot and well made. Loved the food. I can only ask more N/A beer choices for us DDs. read more

I called to place my order with 12 coupons to get 50 percent off one pizza. I ordered a large cheese and an XL spinach. I told the gentleman three times during the call that I had the coupons. He gave me the total, and I asked him if the total took off the coupons , and he said yes. Pizza arrived, and when I handed the nice young man the coupons with his tip, he gave them back and showed me on the receipt that the coupons had NOT been taken off, and to save them for the next time. There won't be a next time to this location. The pizza arrived overcooked, and my family of 6 ate a third of a one of the two pizzas (that cost me over $43 + 6 tip to total almost $49 bucks) then they searched in the cabinets for other food to eat. Hard to rate a place that turns you away at the door, really a 0 in my rating system. We are in the area for just a few days and wanted a good Chicago thin crust style pizza. We are familiar with Rosati's and have eaten in several including ones in IL, Orlando FL and TX. Seemed like a great place to go since other places we were familiar with have closed over the years. We drove for over a half an hour to the location and got there a little after 6:30pm Friday evening. The place was not full in fact there were several open tables. Yes there were people in there and even a large group but no crowds waiting in or out of the building. The "hostess" looked at me as if I had 3 heads and then rudely asked if I needed something. I said I would like a table for 2. She very abruptly told me they were only doing reservations and all for the entire night were gone, actually quite rude. Very confused by what she meant b/c I have NEVER encountered this at a restaurant before, maybe if one walks in there at closing time. Insane really. If this is the case, that it's such a "popular" place put it on your website so people don't needless drive long distances to find they can't get in at all in an evening. I hope all your reservation customers continue to show up as this seems like a way for a place to go belly-up during times when business is slow. The food is nothing special. I have eaten here twice The prices are high. The amount of flies at the new Lenox location is ridiculous. I'm not sure why some of the reviews say it has a family atmosphere, it's a sports pub with adult gaming machines in the back. There are a lot better options for pizza, salads and pasta nearby. Giordano's ,Lou malnatis , MOD pizza and Pizza Mia have way better pies without the flies! Also Portillos has way better beef sandwiches plus shakes. There are too many options for better food in the area especially, if you have kids and don't want to sit in a sports pub. I have had better food at the other restaurants. See no reason to spend my money on just average bar food when I have so many options in the New Lenox area. read more

I have personally never eaten inside the restaurant but I will say that I've delivered their food many times and it's always been good and in a reasonable amount of time with a reasonable price and today I ordered a pizza from a girl named Tiffany who was very and efficient with her job and patient with me cuz I'm sure it gets very hectic there . I used to enjoy the fries that they served with their sandwiches. However, since they have changed suppliers, the fries have some kind of breading on them and taste really boring. In addition, I am handicapped and the only parking spots for those of us that can't walk far are away from the takeout entrance. The last two times we picked up from Rosatis- the pizza was over cooked twice and one of the last two seemed like they were skimpy on ingredient. Not sure if we want to try again any time soo. This particular location is a great one. It is family owned and run well, and with a family atmosphere. They have great specials and I especially like the trivia night. We've never been disapointed in the pizza here. The prices are on the high side, so make sure you find a coupon before ordering. It's a mile from our house which moves it from 3 to 4 star territory for us. Not as good as Nancy's, but still solid, tasty pizza. Staff is friendly enough. Easily one of the worst pizzas I've ever had, and the service ain't so hot either... The whole affair didn't start out very well. I was looking for a new pizza place to try in New Lenox and saw a Yelp $40 for $20 deal. Called Rosati's to see fi they were indeed accepting it, and the gruff and bored-sounding guy who answered just said, "Nope." I asked him to check, as the promo was advertised on their Yelp page. He yelled to someone in the background and then came back to the phone to say that they would take the voucher. I called back to place my order 10 minutes later, and the same guy answered again. He clearly didn't understand the terms of the deal, so rather than waste my Saturday evening arguing with this guy, I told him to forget the order and was prepared to go to Papa Joe's instead. The genius husband called Rosati's back and re-ordered. Long story short: Margherita pizza was dry sauce-wise, but soggy in the middle from the uncooked double dough. The garlic tasted like it had been marinated in vinegar, the black olives tasted like they'd been soaked in cheap perfume, the green peppers were slimy & stale. No fresh basil or fresh mozzarella, as the menu stated. We'd also ordered an Italian sausage sandwich, which was dry as a bone because they'd not included any sauce at all. Yuck. If you're desperate for Rosati's, try the ones in Channahon or Minooka. The New Lenox one just doesn't cut it. read more

As far as pizza places go, nothing extraordinary here. But, I will say they do have really GOOD thin crust pizza. One note of caution: in all honesty their wings were some of the worst I've ever had. As another reviewer noted, there are a ton of coupons that are normally mailed to the surrounding area so use one to save a couple bucks off. As a side-note, I recently called to order a pizza using my 50% off from 12 box tops I had collected from ordered pizzas...to only be told they "don't do delivery for that"??? Funny thing is, I've had the 50% off before delivered...??? So a loyal customer that you know is ordering a decent amount from you because of the 12 box tops it takes to get 50% off - you're going to make them pick up the pizza...?? Does this make any sense to anyone...? You'd think you'd want to take better care of the customers who buy 2 pizzas a week... That upset me to the point I told them that half-off pizza would be my last from them. I'd give the thin crust pizza a solid 4 stars - I ordered from them a lot as they are close & the consistency, crust & the taste are always good. I just called tonight because I ordered a side salad that we paid for that didn't come with the order and the manager whom I spoke with said that there wasn't anything they could do about it. The absolutely worst customer service I've even experiened from any restaurant or pizza place. We ordered 8 large pizzas for a large party ands they took over an hour and a half and when we called in they told us our address was not a real address. They delivered cold pizza and when we rejected it they said they would remake them and be back in 25 minutes but they came back in 30 minutes with the same pizza's just reheated. I will NEVER use them again. We all have bad days but the verbal treatment by the manager on the phone was completely out of line and rude. They ran our credit card and never credited it after we refused the pizza. I had to have my credit card reverse the charges. These guys are horrible. I've given this place several chances due to their inconsistencies, sometimes its good, sometimes its horrible. if you like to gamble this is your place, you may or may not get a good pizza your odds are not good. I've never laughed so hard, that's why I gave 2 stars, so thanku for the laugh! Besides that, I have ordered probably 5 to 6 times, and 4 out of 6 they messed up. The one time I really wanted a pizza and my friends were going to pick it up, they come back with no pizza saying that there was firefighters and officers there, the oven starts on fire. Ok.
