Haven't ordered pizza from here in a really long time. Placed an order on New Year's Day and was told that it would be ready for pick up at 4. Nancy's Pizza is located in a outside strip-mall in New Lenox, IL. It's apparently popular as it takes quite a while to pick up a couple of pies; about an hour. My major concern was the cost. I have had MUCH better pizza in Chicago at half the price, and half the wait time. Hate to give less than a 4-star rating, but 3 is even a stretch for this one. We noticed a vast improvement in the quality of NL Nancy's Pizza. Past orders have appeared to be pre-weighed portions of ingredients (short of generous). The pizza we just picked up was one that we have never experienced before at Nancy's. Perfectly cooked with more (larger cut) ingredients. OH, NO! I ordered from Nancy's last night and they burned my pizza! I got it home and saw the char on the top, and I can't believe they didn't notice it. The bottom was burned too, and it was so overdone and dried out that the mozzarella wasn't even the slightest bit stringy. Ordered two pizzas on Saturday 3/31. We order from Nancy's in New Lenox 2-3 times per month. On Saturday, ordered at 6:20 and was told 40-45 minutes. I arrived T 6:58 and the counter person told me it would be another half hour and they gave me attitude that it was my fault for coming early. Usually Cathy and Mary Beth are up front and service is excellent but two of the last three orders I showed up on the time they gave me and had to wait more than 25 minutes to get my order. I am okay if it takes longer just give me the right time when I call and be apologetic if it's your fault and your busy. Two strikes... there are other good pizza options all around New Lenox. LOVE. Love love love. I grew up (sort of) in New Lenox and whenever I'm back in town, I make a point to order from Nancy's. It's a top priority. I almost always get the pizza (rarely the entrees... even though they're good) and I switch it up between the regular crust and the stuffed crust, depending on my mood. Honestly, Nancy's Pizza is the only thing in New Lenox that I really miss. I miss my mom, too, but she's much easier to ship (via Southwest Airlines) than an amazing, delicious, fantastically perfect pizza. read more

Our delivery service was good. The pizza however was not. Crust was pre made. We got half sausage and pepperoni. Lots of crappy sausage not much pepperoni. I will not order again. Deleted them from my phone. I'd bake a screaming Sicilian before paying 34.00 again. read more

Always skeptical when ordering gluten free pizza-- it can be anything from incredible to inedible. But Nancy's gluten free pizza was really very good! The crust not only had good flavor, but the texture was light and crispy. So happy to have found a great gf pizza in town! One star subtracted just because it is fairly expensive, but will definitely indulge occasionally! read more

Order the rustic crust pizza!!! It is SO good. The guys that work there are really nice, and they now even have a rewards points program. You just have to make sure you ask one of the guys to enter you into the program. read more

Disappointing to say the least! We ordered the Northern Italian Veggie pizza. It was supposed to have fresh basil on it when there was no basil at all to be seen or tasted. The toppings were minimal in quantity and marginal in flavor. We paid $24.96 for a 14" pizza! The crust was not crisp and tasted like an already made store-bought crust. read more
