DISGUSTING. This was hands down one of the worst meals I've ever paid for. The thin crust pizza was a complete mess -- drenched in grease, overwhelmingly salty, and so flimsy I couldn't even pick up a slice without it collapsing. It looked bad and tasted even worse.The chopped salad? Absolutely inedible.And the "grilled chicken" -- I don't even know what that was, but it was NOT chicken. I don't leave reviews like this but this time I have to. On Halloween at 5:30pm we placed an online order for a deep dish and a order of BBQ wings. We were sent a notification that our order would be ready in one hour. We showed up at 6:25pm and were told that it would be another 10 minutes because our pizza just went back in after being sauced. At 6:55pm I asked what was going on with our order because it had been 30 minutes and we were told it would be 10. The young man that I asked said that it was at least 1.5 hours for a deep dish pizza to be made. I have eaten deep dish my whole life from many different pizza places and have never waited that long for a deep dish. Finally at 7:10pm we received our order and went home. The pizza was hot and tasted good but the wings were cold and probably made way before the pizza was done. My wife called on Nov 1 and asked to speak to a manager. The same young man that I spoke to said he was the manager but refused to give his name. He told my wife that I was rude when I was asking him for information on my order and that they were busy. She asked to speak to the owner and was told that the owner will not be in until next week. He then told my wife that the owner will tell her the same thing, that all deep dish takes a hour and a half. I doubt we will hear from anyone about this. I understand completely about being busy, being backed up and being overwhelmed. However, when you tell a customer it will be 10 minutes and it has been more just update your customer. Also, when your customer asks for an update don't say he is being rude. Lastly, if it truly is an hour and a half for a deep dish pizza then don't tell your customers their order will be ready in one hour. read more

I had a few bad experiences when the place opened but they really got their act together and earned a loyal customer. Any problem now is handled swiftly and politely. The employees that you talk to are happy, friendly, patient, and courteous. The delivery is prompt and perfect for a football game or a lazy night at home. This location outshines the others in taste and quality. They took just another Rosati's Pizza chain, that was sub-par, to my favorite delivery pizza. It's not the cheapest, but the quality shows. Manager is super unprofessional. Had an issue with my order and the employee couldn't help, when I asked to speak to the manager they were no help at all. Almost as useless as the crew member. It took me a while to write this review. Why you ask? Well, i ordered an x-large pizza against my good judgement and against the accurate reviews on here. My pizza was half cheese n half pepperoni. It was the worse tasting pizza i have ever tasted. Think of the worse you ever had.....yeah....it was 10 times worse than that! Ok...heres WHY it took me several days to write this review.... My wife and i got VIOLENTLY sick throwing up with diarrhea!! We are both health conscious & always eat well but decided to "cheat" & have pizza & beer! We almost went to the ER we were soo sick. I didnt bother calling to complain. Why? Because all they would have done is give us a discount or coupon for our next pizza!! Uhhhh.....NO THANK YOU!! This is the first Rosati's with bad food. If you live in Lockport...drive an extra 10-15 min to the Rosati's in Romeoville. I've been there several times & its way better. I think the Dept of Health should pay the Lockport location a visit. From the counter you can see there were 8-9 people walking back in forth in the TINY kitchen with no gloves or hairnets (especially where the pizza was being made)...how "clean" can that area really be????? Haven't been to a Rosati's in a long time. Ordered a bunch of Pizzas for a school function and they were excellent. The guys working were incredibly nice, even called back after we ordered to tell us that they were able to give us a better price and save us money. They were finishing the pizzas as we walked in and were so apologetic that they weren't all finished yet. We didn't have to wait long, but it was clear they don't like to keep people waiting. Got this menu in the mail and the prices looked a bit cheaper than Nancy's which we usually order from and I think it is worth the extra couple dollars. My wife and I ordered pasta meals and the sauce tasted as if it was out of a Chef Boy R Dee can and the chicken on my meal was basically a frozen chicken patty. I ordered 1 Jumbo Pizza and a small cheese pizza; I ordered this at 1.45pm...I spoke to Sarah and she told me that it will be here in one hour.... 1 hour passed and I called and she told me that the driver was on the way... Keep in mind I am at work and keeping busy and another hour has passed, it is now 4 O'clock and still no Pizza. So I called and she told me the driver was delayed because he was lost on another customers order. She said the driver will be here in 15 min... right now I am debating if I should even keep the pizza, by this time its just going to be cold... Now its 430 and I called and this guy picks up, didn't get his name, I told him I still didn't get my pizza it is now too late and I don't even want this anymore... as I am talking to him his driver walks in.. I asked him why I should pay for an order that came 2 hours and 45 min late. "He said NO SIR, I took your order and it was placed at 2:47pm, I know because I took your order." I told him, no you didn't; it was Sarah... not you... and he said I know it was me, look at the ticket. Since the driver was here, I asked to see the ticket. I looked at the ticket.. The pizza was put in at 2:47 not 1.47 when I originally place the order. Three things come to mind. 1. They lied to me about the driver being delayed. 2. They place the order an hour later than I originally did. 3. The order was placed through Sarah not the guy so they are calling me a liar. NOT GOOD... I told him that I don't want to eat cold pizza and I am not willing to pay for it. I honestly hoped that Rosita's being who they are... they would compensate for the pizza and give it to us for free, after all.. it is their mistake not ours... so I asked.. He said no, 20 dollars and we will call it even... I said no, I don't want cold pizza. Why should I pay for a pizza that is 2 hours and 45 min late? He said take it or leave it... after given me an ultimatum. I said no thanks take your pizza back... He asked to speak to the driver. Spoke to the driver and the driver told me the same thing.. I said no, take the pizza back. I will admit it was not the drivers fault; He was actually very understanding, it was Rosati's fault in Lemont for not taking care of a customer who has ordered from them at least half a dozen times, each time with orders over 35 dollars. If you ask me, is all of this worth losing a recurring customer? Apparently to them it was... Lets hope Nancy's Pizza doesn't become like them... read more
