OPP is located in the old Durbin's Pizza - but WAY BETTER!! The service is phenomenal, from the minute we stepped foot in the door. The owner Brad welcomed us with a hearty hello, like we'd been there every Friday night since opening. If you're a fan of the 80's the decor will be right up your alley and the same with the music; a nice Mix of 80's thru early 2000's. My husband ordered a New England IPA on special and described it as an imperial IPA that it will f you up with its 8.8 apv. I was very happy to hear the salads are made with romaine and not that spring mix everyone is using these days. So we started our meal the BLT salad. Very tasty and a nice light start to the meal. Next up was pizza. The thinnest of thin and crispy crust. The sauce was a very nice blend. Tomatoe sauce and herbs were not over powering and in my opinion not too sweet. A good balance of cheese, toppings and sauce. Not so much sauce that it oozes out with every bite. They were very careful with the toppings and keeping them on the respective halves. The menu also has sandwiches the sound delicious and I can't wait to come back and try some. I hope they stay in business for many years to come. read more

The food is good. However the dining room is small and can only accommodate a few families at a time. It's not in my opinion pizza that distinguishes itself from others. The pizza is good but it's not pizza that's memorable. The owners are extremely nice. The staff are wonderful. But it is just a pizza shop. My husband does enjoy this restaurant and we will continue to order here for him. read more

Walked into this restaurant a few months back and the pizza was some of the best I have ever had. I haven't made it back since, but planning on a trip soon as I am pretty far from the area. I noticed the owners were very involved and the staff were all attentive and friendly. I am always glad to be able to support a small business and from the brief interaction I had, I can tell the owners care about their customers and serving the community. If you are looking for a laid back joint with friendly people, good beer and excellent pizza - give them a try! You won't regret it. read more

Great food, great service! Brad and Chris are the best! The pizza and appetizers are perfection!

A pizza place called Old Plank Pizza Company that doesn't serve pizza as late as they're open. Open until 1am, showed up at 10pm and were told the kitchen was closed. If you're a bar, call yourself a bar, but don't call yourself a pizza place when you're not actually open for pizza. Terrible atmosphere also unless you're interested in bad karaoke. If I could give this zero stars I would. read more

Excellent service, family owned and family friendly. 1 star off because it's about 20% pricier than comparable pizza places (real pizza places - I'm not comparing them to Little Cesar's or Pizza Hut). The nostalgic movie decor is fun to look at, and the owners do nice things like have free trivia nights to keep patrons coming back. The pizza itself is a thin tavern style that could use a little more cheese, but all of the ingredients are fresh and plentiful. They have a great beer list and are located in a walkable part of downtown Frankfort. You can tell it's family run as they are always there, and they employ locals who do a great job. And again, the pizza is well seasoned and perfectly crisped. read more

This place is amazing! The vibe is perfect and very family friendly. They are so accommodating as well! The pizza is gooey and delicious! Also the spaceballs are so good! read more

We ordered the keto crust and the gluten free one. I loved the gluten free crust. We had a lot of fun during trivia last night ;)

I ordered a Family 16 inch pizza $28. I wasn't thoroughly impressed. The cheese was way too heavy and the crust was very stiff. The service was friendly and kind. The location was clean. This was my 1st experience with this pizzeria and probably my last. read more

I really want to support small businesses... But the last 2 times we've been here, we didn't get what we ordered. We always get a large SMOG...sausage mushroom onion and green pepper pizza. Both times we received a MEDIUM.. We feel they deliberately reduced the size, thinking we wouldn't notice. Once? A possible mistake...but not twice. And the owner. Chrissy will argue that she rectified the problem. Ummm , no. What you corrected was a mistake on the ingredients... The size we orderd was supposed to be a 14 inch. We got a 12 inch for the price of a 14. Three strikes you're out! I ce in on a Wednesday night for trivia. I sat alone at the bar Chrissy was behind the bar. I asked for a glass of water and a bottle of Coors Light. She got distracted by other customers who came to the bsr area. I asked again. I still got ignored. It took 3 requests to get my drink.. I really hope they figure it out. read more

Old Plank Pizza - KARAOKE..every other Friday!! November 10th 7 to 10pm OLDIES....ROCK...COUNTRY....TODAY'S HITS - Pizza Near Me - Frankfort, Illinois

Large margarita pizza was very good. Owner behind the bar was extremely friendly. They have a really cool program you can reserve for kids to prep and cook their own pizza. Lots of 80s pop culture. read more

I ordered 3 large pizzas on yesterday, with wings and some other items. (oct 16, 2025) and we were not pleased...the crust was entirely too thin, and there was not much sauce at all . My co-workers told me they did not like it ..they were highly disappointed in me, because it was my co-workers birthday. I saw it on the news "around town with Anna Bellavaal" and from the photos it looked good but..nah i wont be back. Also it states "we deliver" but for some odd reason we had to go pick it up also..I spent $175.00.. I really had high hopes because I love to try different places to eat. But man I'm disappointed read more

We visited Old Plank Pizza for pizza a couple weeks back. Pizza was excellent as well as their garlic cheese bread. Owners were quite welcoming and the restaurant itself is charming. Can't wait to go back and try their Italian Beef! Sounds yummy! read more

Dropped my wife off at a bridal shower down the street and seen Old Plank Pizza and went in. Had the Chicago SMOG pizza. It was fantastic!!!! Nice crispy crust, the sauce was great and just the right amount of cheese. The bartender/owner was spot on. She was very attentive even setting up for a party. It is a cool little hangout with a great vibe. read more

Put out a promo they didn't want to order, so they just cancelled my order, after i waited of course, instead. Never ordering from them again. read more

This review is for carry out. We ordered pizza at the last minute and thought we would give it a try. Pizza was ready when expected and people seemed very nice. Pizza was still hot when we got home. The pizza had a good taste but seemed to would have been better if had a couple of minutes more in the oven. Wife felt it was very good as is. Will go back again. read more

Love this little restaurant! Uniquely named pizza from movie of the late 70's & 80's.

Went in with my daughter and grandson. The pizza was awesome. The dough balls. My grandson loves. service was great great place to bring your family young or less young. read more

Great tasting, affordable pizza. Very nice family atmosphere with excellent service! Would highly recommend Old Plank Pizza.

This pizza was quite a disappointment. It was bland, more sauce than toppings. We ordered half pepperoni. Pepperoni was sliced so thin it was as if there was no pepperoni on the pizza. I really wanted to like this as I like to support local businesses. I wish them well, but I won't be returning. read more

Take-out service was very slow (although there was a glitch with GrubHub). The pizza was meh, the crust wasn't crisp, I thought it had too much sauce, it was somewhat expensive comparatively, and even though it looked like it had a lot of spices/seasonings, it still seemed bland. The reviews looked really good and I like the retro concept but it was one and done for us, our family found their pizza average and there are better options locally. read more

Ordered a family size sausage pizza. Perfectly crispy, perfectly sauced, perfect amount of sausage and cheese. And the real test was how good it'd be cold the next day which was just as great. Just wish it was bigger! Will order again! read more

I love this family establishment. The decor is fun and the employees are always welcoming and courteous. The food is amazing. My favorite is the cheesy garlic bread, beef sandwhich and cheese pizza, which is always cooked perfectly! You can see the passion the husband and wife who own OPP have every time you are here. I highly recommend for dining in or carry out! read more

I walked in to order a pizza but nobody came to the counter in the three minutes I waited and the DJ provided music was blasting so loudly that I don't think the cashier could have heard me give my order if they showed up anyway! Needless to say I walked out and got a pizza elsewhere. read more

Good pizza, nice crispy crust. Staff seems super friendly! I will say we got a medium and it barely fed 2- size up

Top 5 Tavern Style pizza I've had, absolutely loved it, so thin and crispy with the perfect amount of toppings to accompany it! Also had their Doback Doughballs, crispy/garlicky and an awesome marinara sauce with them....I cannot wait to try more of their menu! Their location is great and the restaurant's atmosphere is great with all the actor/movie references. Service was outstanding as well, friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed read more

Old Plank Pizza - The Farley - Italian Beef & Giardiniera - Pizza Near Me - Frankfort, Illinois

We had a surprise birthday party at OPP and Chrissy and Brad were the best hosts. The food and service were amazing, and they graciously let us in early to set up and decorate. Couldn't have asked for a better party! read more

Excellent pizza - we ordered The Farley - Italian beef and mild giardinera. The cheese was nice and thick. Pizza is thin but not cracker thin. The antipasto salad was delicious - enough for 4, easily. We did take out but it looks like the new owners have nicely remodeled the dining room. Much prettier than it used to be. Would definitely order again. read more

Tasty and local joint, everything is made fresh to order and you can really taste the difference. Worth trying a new spot if you haven't been here, betchya it will become a family favorite right away! read more

Absolutely my favorite place to eat. Best pizza and beef sandwich! Not a bad thing on the menu.

The pizza was really good, great sauce and cheese and super friendly staff definitely will be back for more

We ordered a small pizza for delivery. The delivery was early and the pizza was hot. Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the pizza. The pizza was very over seasoned with what seemed to be black pepper and oregano sprinkled all over the cheese. The crust was very thin, but pretty soggy. Not for us. read more

Tried for the first time on a Friday and got the curb side pick up! Great for a busy mom not needing to get the baby out to grab take out. They brought everything out for me and were so sweet! My husband is on a low carb diet so having the option for a keto pizza is great. Plus it was actually really delicious! Everything I got was super fresh and tasty :) read more

Nice atmosphere and Friendly service. The antipasto salad was a great appetizer. The Pizza was some of the best thin crust I've had in a long time. Plenty of toppings with great balance of sauce and cheese, and not greasy. We will definitely be back. read more

This was our first trip to Old Plank Pizza! It is definitely not our last. We had a birthday party with about 15 people in attendance. Our food came out quickly, the service was amazing, and, most importantly, the pizza was incredible. We now have a new favorite pizza--beef gardinare. I have never had it before, but I think I will be dreaming about it tonight. I only wish we lived closer to Old Plank Pizza. We also had tasty chicken wings that my granddaughter LOVES and bread balls were also fresh and delicious! Judging by the number of people in the restaurant, word is out on this family-owned business! They have dine-in and carryout available. read more

Everything was delicious. We had the Spicolli Pizza-awesome! We also had garlic bread and fried pickles.

Pizza was fantastic as was the garlic mozzarella dough balls great service. I loved it

Every time we come here we leave smiling and full! The pizza is so good! Crispy thin crust and whatever cheese they use is absolutely delicious. We always get the wrapper's delight because it's so flavorful! We also love to get the Mitch a palooza too. It's just the right amount of veggies. One of us ordered the gluten free crust and it was delicious! Nice to know they can accommodate a gluten allergy. The servers were all very friendly too. We love to recommend this restaurant to all of our friends and family. If you are craving great food definitely check this place out! read more

Been here twice now. Great place. Owners are on site. Food has been consistent. True tavern style pizza. They use fresh veggies and great cheese mix. They do karaoke on some fridays which made for a very fun evening. Server is great. She works each table in the place and you wouldn't know it. Completely on it.
