I ordered from Miroballis yesterday and had a double dough pizza delivered. Being a bit picky about my pizza, I have been searching for a good pie in this area. I recognized Miroballi's from the name having grown up with it in Palos Hills but didn't know if it was the same chain. The gentleman who answered is the owner, Moises. He was incredibly thorough, asking very specific questions about how we wanted our pizza (no one has ever asked me that thoroughly before) and delivered the pizza himself earlier than he said would. The pizza was awesome. I wanted a thicker crust and have it be a little well done. Honestly, it's one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. I am so happy to have a good place to call. As a matter of fact, I just called them again and placed another order for a house full of hungry teens. Moises takes his pizzas so seriously that he will call you 15 minutes before they are done if you are picking up so they stay as hot as possible. I really appreciate someone who is so communicative. Both times I ordered I was informed how much it would be for delivery, and the exact amount with tax for the pizza. Great job! read more

HIDDEN GEM ALERT - This was a fantastic pizza. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to try Miroballi Pizza. I have yet to find such an amazing cracker thin crispy thin crust (that still has some underlying amazing chewiness). Been stuck in a rut eating at the major SW suburban pizza shacks, but their quality definitely lacks vs. what is being created at Miroballi. I also love that they cook the pizza to your specifications (I love a well done 'Za). And they will give you the option of square cut or traditional triangle slices. Toppings were spread perfectly, and the quality of ingredients was second to none. I cannot wait for my next pie from here. read more

Trash!!! What you are looking at is "stuffed" pizza. No way should it have this much dough: It's 70% dough! That's the thickest bottom dough I've ever seen... then only a thin layer of cheese and ingredients then another 20% of dough and topped with pizza sauce. It's not even "goo'ing" cheese when cut. At $35 for a 14", this is terrible. You never cheap out on the cheese and sub with dough. We threw the whole thing away. read more

Not the same Miroballis pizza that started in 1986. The owner is very nice, its clean inside, but the pizza is subpar. I called and ordered a pizza, A small, one topping, extra sauce, well done...the price that was quoted was 18 dollars. The person even asked me if I was paying cash before and I said yes, than she quoted me that price. I never paid that much for a small one topping pizza, especially it wasn't that good.. I understand that the old owner wasn't the nicest guy, but he did make the best damn pizza. read more

UPDATE!! NEW OWNER so a brand new review! Please please give this a try. While we always loved their pizza because it was so close to what I grew up on in Mt. Greenwood with DiGuido's, my reviews ebbed and flowed. The complaints were never about the pizza, and always about the owner and his treatment of customers or lack, not answering the phone or having no delivery service. The new owner could NOT be nicer and the pizza recipe is the exact same. Same recipe, same meat purveyor and service with a smile. Delicioso. If you stopped ordering from Miroballi's or never tried it, give this guy a chance. It's a really really good pie, the greatest price in town for pizza, and the owner and employees could not be nicer and more accommodating. It's our fave. read more

First time here under the new owner. Picked up a family size pizza for $21.00. A bit more pricey than in the past as the old owner always had coupons. I have to say I was disappointed. The crust was different, it lacked sauce and sausage and it also looked different than the pizza from the original owner. I guess that we'll give it another try, but I have to say that it was not close to the original, which makes me sad because I loved Miroballi Pizza.... I never had a problem with the old owner. Yes, he was just a bit on the crusty side but he and I always got along just fine with him. It appears at this point that I'm going to miss him because he sure made the best pizza around. read more

The service is HORRIBLE! We ordered last night and the order was wrong. No attempt to fix the problem at all so I was stuck with 1/2 my family not eating the family size pizza! Pizza was good! Second attempt tonight I ordered at 5:45 and was told delivery in 45 minutes or a hour. It's 7:15 and I'm still waiting and the place is less then 1/2 a mile from my home! I called and they said they SPACED it out and my order was there and would arrive in about 10 minutes! 15 minutes later I'm still waiting. So much for second chances! Stay clear of this place!! I've eaten at least 50 pizzas from here over the last 5 years and have never been disappointed. It's a small place with an owner operator juggling all the balls. I truly love the old fashion, independent, mom and pop feel of this place and would hate to see it go. I gag at the thought of a chain of blah pizza being my only choice. OK so I was one of the people blacklisted (from a pizza place!) for whatever reason. This was my favorite pie in town until you know who sent it down the tubes. Recently moved to the area and tried Miroballi. Great pizza and the owner was great. After I called to place the order he called me back when the pizza was just about ready. When I got there he offered to keep the pizza in a minute longer to get the cheese a little more brown. This guy, the owner, hangs up on me on two different occasions. The first time was because HE gave the delivery guy the wrong address. I called checking on my order and he hung up on me. So, a month or so later I decide to give it a shot again. As soon as I asked if he was ready to take the order, the owner says I answered the phone didn't I. Then he hung up on me. Apparently this guy is doing pretty well so my business isn't welcome there anymore. I wouldn't waste any money over here since this guy has customer service down pat. read more
