Not the best pizza place in the area menu on line not the easiest to work with getting in and out of plaza not the easiest

Sadly nothing like it used to be. Crust didn't taste the same was too thick, sauce was plain no flavor as it used to have a good flavor and sweeter, sadly ordered a 16in and we ate 4 prices and will be throwing the rest away. Also got the wings to try them and BBQ had a weird vinegar flavor. Will not be going back. Will miss the old recipe pizza. read more

First time trying this place after driving by it for years. Excellent pizza and a very personable and dedicated owner. Highly recommend. Stuffed sausage pizza and two regular crusts. Handmade, fresh, outstanding. We will be back. read more

sause for pizza was very bland and average. the mushroom bites tastes as if they were from a bag and reheated. and the fries came out soggy and had NO salt which equals no flavor. The reason this review doesn't get 3 stars, is due to the pricing! for these prices, you are better off going to beggers or aurilos pizza for better food for the price. I was disappointed since I wanted this to be a hidden gem. but sadly, as of right now, I cannot recommend this place or intend to return. read more

First timer trying this pizzeria, after passing by numerous times. The crust, sauce, and cheese was worth the it. Hope they can post a menu online with the 4 styles of pizza they make from stuffed to pan, or thin-crust to extra-thin; it's good. read more

I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob. Very impressed with the quality of ingredients including the Wisconsin cheese and tanginess of the sauce. I've tried several pizza places since moving to Frankfort and have been disappointed each time until today. Most impressive is the very friendly owner who takes pride in the pizza he makes and the service he delivers. Easy 5 stars from me and so far my favorite cracker crust tavern style pizza in the area. Nice job! read more

One of the best old school pizza spots. Everything fresh daily. Nothing frozen. Cooked to order. The owner calls before it goes in the oven so when you pick up it's ready to go. it's become our exclusive Friday night pizza night pizza place. read more

I've lived in Frankfort for about 10 years and finally decided to try Miroballi's. I am so pissed that I waited so long. DELICIOUS, made with the freshest ingredients immediately reminded me of the pizzas I remembered as a child living off 63rd Street. It's now my go-to pie. read more

Ordered this evening. Wow you fine folks were not lying, the pizza was perfect. Very delicious and will be my #1 call for pizza! Thank you all! Talked to Moses the owner, nice guy, customized my order and gave me photos of the cooking process as I mentioned I'm new to the area and looking for a new pizza joint. Clean, organized, and employs locals. Which I prefer to keep my money in my town. Fresh ingredients, loaded pizza. Delicious sauce and finished how you like it. I asked for golden brown and it was perfect! Cant wait to try different pizzas that they offer. Some are complaining of prices, perhaps look at the whole world right now and see prices are high on everything. This is great pizza and deserves the price charged with all of the fresh top quality ingredients used, plus my money is staying local! Thank you for a delicious pizza, we will be back for more soon! read more

HIDDEN GEM ALERT - This was a fantastic pizza. I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to try Miroballi Pizza. I have yet to find such an amazing cracker thin crispy thin crust (that still has some underlying amazing chewiness). Been stuck in a rut eating at the major SW suburban pizza shacks, but their quality definitely lacks vs. what is being created at Miroballi. I also love that they cook the pizza to your specifications (I love a well done 'Za). And they will give you the option of square cut or traditional triangle slices. Toppings were spread perfectly, and the quality of ingredients was second to none. I cannot wait for my next pie from here. read more

I ordered from Miroballis yesterday and had a double dough pizza delivered. Being a bit picky about my pizza, I have been searching for a good pie in this area. I recognized Miroballi's from the name having grown up with it in Palos Hills but didn't know if it was the same chain. The gentleman who answered is the owner, Moises. He was incredibly thorough, asking very specific questions about how we wanted our pizza (no one has ever asked me that thoroughly before) and delivered the pizza himself earlier than he said would. The pizza was awesome. I wanted a thicker crust and have it be a little well done. Honestly, it's one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. I am so happy to have a good place to call. As a matter of fact, I just called them again and placed another order for a house full of hungry teens. Moises takes his pizzas so seriously that he will call you 15 minutes before they are done if you are picking up so they stay as hot as possible. I really appreciate someone who is so communicative. Both times I ordered I was informed how much it would be for delivery, and the exact amount with tax for the pizza. Great job! read more

Trash!!! What you are looking at is "stuffed" pizza. No way should it have this much dough: It's 70% dough! That's the thickest bottom dough I've ever seen... then only a thin layer of cheese and ingredients then another 20% of dough and topped with pizza sauce. It's not even "goo'ing" cheese when cut. At $35 for a 14", this is terrible. You never cheap out on the cheese and sub with dough. We threw the whole thing away. read more

Miroballi Pizza - Lots of crust... :-( - Pizza Near Me - Frankfort, Illinois

Not the same Miroballis pizza that started in 1986. The owner is very nice, its clean inside, but the pizza is subpar. I called and ordered a pizza, A small, one topping, extra sauce, well done...the price that was quoted was 18 dollars. The person even asked me if I was paying cash before and I said yes, than she quoted me that price. I never paid that much for a small one topping pizza, especially it wasn't that good.. I understand that the old owner wasn't the nicest guy, but he did make the best damn pizza. read more

I was looking for a new place to go for pizza and stumbled upon Miroballi's. I'm glad I did. I met Moses the owner great guy. I could tell he was passionate about his pizza. The sausage pizza was excellent. I will be a regular from now on. read more

Good pizza. Very friendly owner. Pizza was really good, can't wait to try it again and get it even thinner (cheese is awesome, but I hurt my jaw and could hardly bite through the crust, so not their fault) read more

Miroballi Pizza is delicious. They use Wisconsin cheese, which sets them apart from others. The owner will call you when your pizza is ready and will ask you exactly how well done you like your pizza. Very personable! I highly recommend you try the pizza. read more

Good pizza. Haven't ordered from them in awhile and was pleasantly surprised. Ordering system was very easy. Will be ordering again in near future. read more

My wife and I have ordered from Miroballi Pizza twice since the beginning of the year. In both instances, our pizza was delivered promptly, and was delicious, hot and affordably-priced. The staff is thoughtful, considerate and accommodating. This has become our neighborhood "go-to" place. Can't wait for our next Miroballi pizza! read more

UPDATE!! NEW OWNER so a brand new review! Please please give this a try. While we always loved their pizza because it was so close to what I grew up on in Mt. Greenwood with DiGuido's, my reviews ebbed and flowed. The complaints were never about the pizza, and always about the owner and his treatment of customers or lack, not answering the phone or having no delivery service. The new owner could NOT be nicer and the pizza recipe is the exact same. Same recipe, same meat purveyor and service with a smile. Delicioso. If you stopped ordering from Miroballi's or never tried it, give this guy a chance. It's a really really good pie, the greatest price in town for pizza, and the owner and employees could not be nicer and more accommodating. It's our fave. read more

New owner, same dough and sauce recipe. The old crabby guys gone ! Must try !!! Thin thin crust. Crispy goodness... Great place to order on the way home from the car. Pick it up on the fly. I've got the # saved in contacts read more

First time here under the new owner. Picked up a family size pizza for $21.00. A bit more pricey than in the past as the old owner always had coupons. I have to say I was disappointed. The crust was different, it lacked sauce and sausage and it also looked different than the pizza from the original owner. I guess that we'll give it another try, but I have to say that it was not close to the original, which makes me sad because I loved Miroballi Pizza.... I never had a problem with the old owner. Yes, he was just a bit on the crusty side but he and I always got along just fine with him. It appears at this point that I'm going to miss him because he sure made the best pizza around. read more

Under new management. Pizzas were delicious and made to order! Great find from an online recommendation and am looking forward to ordering more from Miroballi's in the future. read more

Save your money. DON'T order from Miroballi's Pizza!!! The new owner is rude. We ordered a family size sausage and cheese. Yeah, what we got was NOT a family size and all the outside pieces had huge chunks of sausage a bit of sauce and NO cheese. What a waste. The owner said what do you want me to do, bring the pizza back and I will put cheese on it. NOPE....wont be going back. New RUDE owners and not the same pizza .... read more

Love the pizza, especially the deep dish, order it in cut and it's super crunchy and delicious!!!

We ordered from here tonight for the first time and loved it! The owner was so personable and you can tell he really puts his heart into his pizza. What other pizza place calls you when you pizza is going into the oven and asks if your pizza is done to your liking and cuts it the way you want it?? So awesome!Delicious flavor and we will be ordering again. Nice and hot too! Brian says thank you! read more

The service is HORRIBLE! We ordered last night and the order was wrong. No attempt to fix the problem at all so I was stuck with 1/2 my family not eating the family size pizza! Pizza was good! Second attempt tonight I ordered at 5:45 and was told delivery in 45 minutes or a hour. It's 7:15 and I'm still waiting and the place is less then 1/2 a mile from my home! I called and they said they SPACED it out and my order was there and would arrive in about 10 minutes! 15 minutes later I'm still waiting. So much for second chances! Stay clear of this place!! Just arrived after 1 hour and 35 minutes..... room temperature! read more

Tonight was our first time ordering from Miroballi and we were thrilled with the experience. The service was top-notch, we enjoyed our conversation with the owner and most importantly the pizza was hot and delicious! We look forward to ordering from Miroballi again soon! read more

This place is great! Tonight was our first try and we will definitely be back. Pizza was ready quickly, staff is very friendly, the owner even introduced himself. Overall very Good Friday night experience and we will be back! read more

I've eaten at least 50 pizzas from here over the last 5 years and have never been disappointed. It's a small place with an owner operator juggling all the balls. I truly love the old fashion, independent, mom and pop feel of this place and would hate to see it go. I gag at the thought of a chain of blah pizza being my only choice. I recommend a thin with sausage, onion, spinach and garlic. read more

My husband and I loved their thin crust. The new owner was very nice, he delivered the pizza. This will be our new spot!

ATTENTION ATTENTION!!!+ this is a new owner who bought the name of MIROBALLI.... Not the same owner!! They moved 3 doors west of where they were in strip mall on Rt. 30 and 80th Ave. They moved into the spot where the bakery was. EXCELLENT pizza!! The crust was crispy..the cheese did not slide off the sauce... Fresh ingredients! This is by far the best pizza in the area!! read more

OK so I was one of the people blacklisted (from a pizza place!) for whatever reason. This was my favorite pie in town until you know who sent it down the tubes. Enter a new owner (Moses) who saves the day and puts out the same quality pizza with a new crew that are all awesome. I could write a big fat paragraph about the old guy but I'd rather give props to the new guys, and like I said they're fantastic. I got there early just to meet the new crew and they're all great. I know of at least 10 people who stopped coming here that will now that there is new life here. So spread the word..... Mirobalili's is back!! read more

Under new ownership!! The new owner is extremely accommodating and super nice -WAY better than the last guy... The pizza was excellent too!! We will definitely be back for more!! read more

Rudest people, most over priced pizza. Avoid until new owner appears to be reasonable.

Great Pizza! This should be a Frankfort institution. A really good local pizza joint. This is our go to pie that the whole family loves. Moses, keep up the great work. read more

UPDATE: There is new ownership and this new owner is great. I ordered pizzas for a large group and they tried to over charge me by $23.00. I'm not sure if the owner was aware or the employees are running a scam, but pay attention to your bill. They have good pizza, but I don't like to be ripped off, so I'll order elsewhere. read more
