This is a great spot to grab a bite and have a drink. We came during happy hour and took advantage of the $7 specials. Everything was delicious!

We arrived at Dancing Marlin around 3:15pm on a Friday, just as the early dinner crowd was beginning to arrive and happy hour (3pm-6pm, Monday through Friday) was getting underway. The interior is very inviting, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's a versatile space that works well for a romantic dinner, a casual date night, or even an evening out with family. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and seated at a table near the front window. Our server, Naomi, welcomed us right away and immediately made us feel comfortable with her friendly and engaging personality. She brought water to the table, took our drink orders, and returned quickly with our beverages before checking if we were ready to order. After answering a few questions, we decided on the fresh oysters, four-cheese flatbread, and pork belly tacos. The oysters were served first, and Naomi took the time to explain their region and variety, which added a nice touch to the experience. They were fresh, clean, and nicely briny. The four-cheese flatbread was rich and flavorful, made with fresh ingredients that really stood out. We also enjoyed the house-cured pork belly tacos--the meat was tender and well-prepared. I requested the toppings on the side, which was accommodated without issue. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The service, atmosphere, and food all came together nicely, and we'll definitely be returning again soon.

This is becoming my favorite restaurant for gluten free food. They have a great variety and the staff are so nice. Definitely a place to go for all occasions!

Me and my family had a great time here! The food was good and came out fast! My lobster gnocchi was perfect and had the perfect texture along with the lobster bisque that was the perfect flavor. The inside of the restaurant was lively and the music was my type. Our waiter was nice and brought things out with pace, not wasting a single minute! The bone marrow my dad got was surprisingly good and it was my first time trying it and I tried it at the perfect place. Definitely coming here again!

This is the 3rd time I have been to the Dancing Marlins. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was outstanding. We were at the bar first and ordered the Mango Tango till our table was ready. When we got to the table our waiter Justin was awesome. He was very attentive and didn't hover which we appreciated. I will most definitely be back as soon as it warms up I wanna sit on the patio!

First time here, love the way it looks cozy. The server Zoe did a great job making sure she was there for us and explaining the whole menu and the specials for the day We ordered so many different things, they were all good, see pics

Gnocchi - probably the best thing we had. The sausage in this dish was really good.

I brought my family to the Dancing Marlin for a pre-Thanksgiving dinner and the sole reason for picking this place was that one of my daughters is on a pretty restrictive diet, and The Dancing Marlin had a flexible menu that featured made from scratch dishes that were also made to order. As such, we were able to modify some dishes to make them allowable for my daughter to eat. The interior space itself is pretty casual, and has a "seafood market" vibe even though the menu features plenty of dishes suited for land-lovers. Our server Stephanie was excellent. One of the better servers I've had recently, and this level of service really goes a long way in elevating the whole dining experience. She was helpful with the menu when it came to my daughter's diet, and if the food itself had been on par with the service, this place would definitely warrant a return visit. Sadly, it just fell short of expectations when it came to the taste and price-point on the food. They advertise that the dishes are designed to be shared, and they are, but unfortunately none of the ones we sampled really blew us away. Not that any of it was bad, it was just pretty average overall.

Been coming here since they open several years ago. Even if you are not a seafood lover, there is something for everyone. Have had larger parties in their downstairs area, birthdays, wonderful brunch, business lunch, and evening dinners. Great tasty food and quality in each time I visited. Friendly staff and service. Be sure to sign up for their frequent diners rewards program and get points for discounts! For private events they have the downstairs area and handy for elevator for those with trouble for stairs. They have a little area by the front where a smaller party could take place. Reasonable rates and great service.

    Family birthday lunch

I planned my birthday lunch here and it was PERFECT for my family. First of all the restaurant is beautiful and in a great location. The menu was wonderful offering great vegetarian and vegan options. The food was delicious for everyone. The food was fresh and our server Stephanie was great! We took beautiful pictures and plan to be back! What a great birthday for me Thanks to Dancing Marlin for accommodating my large family. I cant wait to come back on a beautiful day and dine on the patio!

Great spot for groups since most of the menu lends itself to sharing. The Neapolitan pizza is the real draw here and it earns the reputation. We went with the pepperoni and it was very good. Well executed, properly blistered, the kind of pizza that reminds you what pizza is actually supposed to taste like. The whipped ricotta and honeycomb appetizer was a genuine standout. Creamy, sweet, deeply flavorful. Only complaint is that the bread situation did not keep pace with the amount of ricotta they give you. Send more bread, please and thank you. Service was attentive and friendly throughout. One honest note for families: the menu skews mature and there is no kids menu to speak of. A cheese pizza is about as far as the options go for little ones. My son was not exactly inspired by the choices. For a restaurant this good, a little more consideration for younger diners would go a long way and open this place up to a whole new crowd of regulars. Worth the visit, just know your audience before you go.

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

So we came here on a random Friday night to test our luck to get a table at 7 o'clock for two people. We got lucky and got to sit inside because that's where we wanted to sit although they do have sidewalk or outdoor seating as well. I thought sitting inside would be cooler, but I was wrong as all the doors and windows were open and I don't believe the AC was on at all. Well, the menu is pretty extensive. I will say that a vegetarian could definitely eat here as well as anyone else. This is our first visit here and as you can tell from the photos ordered quite a bit of food. And typical top of style the portions are pretty small, but they are meant to be shared. It was actually too much food for two people who were already hungry. Some of the standouts were definitely the meatballs and the salad salads. The jamon iberico was absolutely incredible. Not pictured was the picture of sangria we ordered. We got the rosé and to be quite honest with all of the heat. It actually watered down way too quickly. And it also came in a plastic picture, which was a bit of a turn off. The shrimp with garlic was good, but the garlic was hard to taste because it was also covered or doused in a lot of tomato base or tomato sauce. I was really looking forward to a very clear buttery or olive oil sauce that was saturated with garlic. The mushrooms were OK as well, but again too much tomato in this dish that I'm not used to. The potatoes were also very tasty and well seasoned, and the sauce on it was just right. I think this is a good option for people who want top us in the suburbs however, I will say that I hope they do some tweaking to the recipes as well so that they have something that truly makes them stand out and unique.
