I like a lot of things that Fossil has. I mainly purchase online but last time, I decided to drop into the store inside the Brea mall to see if they had a bracelet I wanted but out of stock online. I ended up purchasing the bracelet I wanted but one of them (kind of a young chunky Asian lady) expressed an agitated attitude with a dirty look because I asked for a jewelry pouch (as how it would be sent online and when you purchase jewelry/accessories in stores). A guy name Michael helped me and came with a better attitude/service so that would be the only reason for me to give 3 stars. read more

Have to give kudos to Christine. She helped me find a really nice watch for my father in-law for his birthday. Even though I told her my husband was going to be the one making the ultimate decision on which watch it was, she was very understanding and helpful in picking out ones that would be a good fit for him. She gave amazing personal service and we had such a nice conversation about random things and the Fossil smart watch. I definitely will come back to purchase one in the near future! It doesn't matter what people say about malls and physical stores going under. The personal kind of service you can receive only from dealing with a physical individual from a store truly makes the buying experience. I have been a Fossil consumer for over 10+ years, but have recently started stepping into this location. When changing my Fossil watch batteries, I always take them to the Fossil store so that the warranty stays in tact. Especially with my 2 oldest watches, they are a little harder to change and only Fossil should be pros at changing them. If there is something wrong with the movement, they will help you send it to Metro Service, located out in TX. A few weeks ago, I took my oldest Fossil watch (10+ years) to the store to get a battery changed but once Stroy, a store manager, opened it up and changed the battery. The movement was broken so it was not a battery problem. I had the option to send it in to get it serviced but this particular watch has been sent in over 4x since I have owned it. I keep it in great condition but somehow every time the battery was changed or something, there was a movement problem. Just happened to get a lemon of a watch. Stroy mentioned that Fossil now has this new policy where we could just "surrender my non-working" watch for 50% off any watch in the store. I asked why I had never heard of this policy and he mentioned that it just started last year. I love my oldest Fossil watch but it was a "no-brainer" to surrender it because it's going to keep having issues. Upon after looking around the store, I fell in love with the Defender series watches. The case is big but not overwhelming and it's of great quality. Love the big numbers as well and how the numbers glow in the dark. The straps are interchangeable and the case is well-built, solid. I just hope that this watch will give me less problems than before with the movement. The process was seamless in surrendering the old non-functioning watch for a brand new one. We still also get to pick our tin for our watch. I love it! I just wish that the inside was not paper, but foam like it was before. But of course, things will always change. Wore the watch out but when I got home, I was sad to see there were a few scratches on the face on the stainless steel. I called the store the next day and talked to Stroy. Since they did not have another one without issues, he ended up calling nearby stores to double check if they had any brand new, no scratches, case. He was able to find one at the Costa Mesa store, which I know is located in the South Coast Plaza, in the smaller plaza across the street from the Main Plaza. The Costa Mesa location was supposed to mail it out on a certain day but didn't mail it out until 2 days or so later. Once received, the other store manager, Jess, called me to let me know it had arrived. She helped me change the face quickly and I was out on my way. A couple of weeks back, I had called Metro Service to order a leather band for another old Fossil watch (same style as my first). Once I received it, I took it to the store this past Sunday, which was Mother's Day, to get it swapped out. Jess, one of the managers, was helping me out. Granted, the store was super busy, most of the workers were still very courteous. I would expect her to be happy since the store was busy because most people wanted to purchase Mother's Day gifts but she kept mumbling "quite loudly" under her breathe and complaining why everyone had to come at the same time. I was standing in front of her (along with 3 other parties of customers) and was quite upset that she would even do that. I didn't say anything because she was working on my watch at the time and had already broken one of my "original" pins when changing out the straps. Maybe she was having a bad day but no need to complain and give an attitude. Would you rather your store be empty? If so, then you might as well close down. I also met Erik, who was another manager, who was patient and answered all my questions. So all in all, 3 out of the 4 managers (Stroy, Erik, Jess) were working that day. But if you ever want/need to purchase additional straps for Fossil watches, I would purchase them online from the Fossil store because the physical stores get "blind" shipments and is a hassle to have to keep calling in to ask if they have received them. Free shipping and returns when purchasing online from the Fossil store! I've never really shopped at fossil. I had one wallet from there when I was in middle school which was a gift from my mom. I went to this fossil about a month or so ago randomly just to look at watches. I was originally going to buy just one watch for my boyfriend. But the guy who was helping me, Austin, convinced me to buy one for myself. I was so close to buying three watched total! My boyfriend loves his watch and I love mine as well! Eric was also working that day and he was very nice as well. A few weeks after buying my watch I started to notice that the time kept stopping. I went in today to get it looked at and Eric was there to help me out. He remembered me and was again super nice. The girl that was working was also very sweet! I waited for Eric to fix my watch but something happened and the watch broke so he immediately took out a new one for me. No payments (11 year warranty yay!) no signature or anything. I've had my Georgia watch for 2 years now and the battery suddenly died. I took it into get replaced and while changing it, they somehow broke an arm on the watch. Just visited Fossil for a simple battery replacement. Employees Tony & Giuliana were super helpful and are amazing at providing exceptional customer service. I had inquired about getting my Nate chronograph dial fixed and they were amazing enough to help me just get the full watch replaced! Amazing! No extra fees or charges, all covered at no additional cost! & to top it off, they honored a sale that just ended for mothers day which resulted in my girlfriend getting her bag she really wanted & a new matching wallet. My mom and I are amazed at the quality of customer service of this fossil store. I am a huge fan of fossil and have purchased multiple purses, wallets, and watches from this store specifically. My mom and I went today to ask them about a watch I bought her about a year ago. The watch started to wear down on the band without any major wear and tear. The employees (specifically Christine/Christina - can't remember her exact name) were so helpful and were able to replace the watch and do the engraving again for us. This Fossil store now has a loyal shopper! I bought my watch back in April and noticed the screen cracked recently. I explained that I work retail and without doubt, despite not remembering hitting it on anything, surly I did something to crack it as I just looked down at work and noticed it was cracked halfway through my shift. Michael listened to me, looked at the watch and just wowed me! He offered to replace my watch sighting the crack didn't look like it was my fault. Really great customer service. I came in with a limited edition watch for a battery replacement. They were able to help me out but realized the watch needed more than a new battery. They made a phone call to see if the parts needed for my watch were still being made but unfortunately they aren't. They advised me to go to the watch store about 50 yards away and they could fix my watch there. They also gave me a 20% off coupon for the store. Great customer service. I see too many reviews of people complaining that the store they went to couldn't help. Sometimes it's not their fault. Literally made this account just to write this review. I bought a hybrid smartwatch here a couple months ago and was super excited about it. After taking it home it wasn't turning on or anything, I took it back and they replaced the battery and it worked fine. The associates apologized profusely and everything was good! Just recently I was getting ready for work and dropped my watch. Face down. On hardwood floor. The watch face was shattered and my heart sank. I took my watch back expecting to ship it off for repair and get it back in 2-6 weeks. They remembered me and replaced my watch! I was blown away! From now on if I need a new watch or want a new watchband or something I'm definitely coming to this store! I wish I got the names of the people who helped me but I was in such shock I forgot. Brian W, Ray G, and Deeon G were AWESOME. My wife and I went to look for watches to give our wedding party for wedding gifts and they were very helpful. They were friendly, helpful and not pushy. We bought 10 watches from them and had each one engraved. Each watch was well handled and packaged nicely. They didn't have all 10 watches in stock but Brian called around and found another location that had the watch. He got the watch engraved and sent to my house but when I received it the engraved words were incorrect. Brian called the store got another watch and had it sent to his store and personally completed the engraving to make sure the engraving was completed correctly. I have had a lot a great experiences with this store and brand. I had one bad experience, even through that they made up for it. I was just in there the other day, and I needed the clasp on my watch fixed. I was told they may have to send it to Tx. I was ok with that. When the young lady behind the counter realized what the issue was, she took the watch and repaired it on the spot. I wish I could remember her name, she was an absolute doll, and a pleasure to deal with. I recommend fossil to everyone I know. Come to find out they couldn't engrave the item and was told to just try another fossil store. I called the manager and was told to come to the store so he could help. I always have a positive experience at this location, but today was BEYOND amazing. My boyfriend and I came in to ask about repairing his watch. The general manager as well as the store manager helped us out and informed us about their fairly new warranty policy, which by the way is amazing. His watch is under an 11 year warranty so it was able to be replaced in-store. Brian and Deeon were extremely helpful, friendly and candid. They gave us honest opinions, which we really appreciated. I purchased a new band for my watch and they all gave us a lot of information about their new watches and bracelets that connect to your phone and send notifications to your watch. Very cool!
