The food is pretty good and they have a large menu to choose from. First off this is a diner. Please do not expect a five star restaurant. Also the C rating everyone is talking about? Well that has been mistaken for the "cleanliness" of an establishment which is partially false. These reviews are also based on equipment used in the kitchen. If it is not a certain model or from a certain year the rating drops and this has nothing to do with cleanliness. Overall this place is nice to go to. The staff is sweet and always remember us when we go in. It is 24 hours so if you get home late and do not feel like cooking its just a walk over for most. Their food is yummy and not expensive. This diner is awesome! As you may know if you live around here-there are not many diner options in Bay Ridge,and especially all the way down by 95thst, so it is great to have this. Plus being a night owl I love that they are a 24 hour diner that always delivers, and they take credit cards which is very useful. Thier food is awesome! Everything I have tried has been really good-the burgers,Foccaccia sandwiches,Gyros...You will not be dissapointed. Their excuse was it was busy so they didn't even start making the food. It took an extra 30 minutes. Also when the food came they messed up the order. I keep going back to this place for the weekend brunch. It's tasty, fulfilling and reasonably priced (9.99 includes coffee, small juice and fruit bowl). I don't know the general menu or the late night quality (who really cares when it's 3am). It does get pretty crowded late morning and the service could be more attentive but everyone is really friendly. They never showed up, so I checked the status of the order online and it said they still had not left and they were making the food. I've gone here for breakfast a couple of times now. It's a diner. The staff is nice and the food is good. There's nothing particularly outstanding or amazing. It just is what it is. Though I am definitely liking the free delivery 24/7 aspect. I'll have to take advantage of that soon. Out of the three diners within blocks of each other this one is my favorite. It's not the cheapest and it doesn't have the largest portions out of the three but it is just right. It also accepts credit cards with a $10 minimum and it has a high chair and room to stash strollers so long as it's not super packed. I ordered from this diner several times and the food was just okay. Nothing special but it was good "in a pinch". Just recently I stopped in late at night for a burger and fries. I knew that it had taken too little of time for my burger to be cooked medium rare but I didn't say anything. I should have opened the container before leaving so I could see if the burger was done medium rare. After I had gotten home, I saw that it was close to raw in the middle. I should have thrown it into the oven to cook it a little bit more but I didn't. Since I was ravenous I ate it as is. I hadn't eaten all day so this was my first meal in over 24 hours. The next day, in the early evening, it hit me. I was unbelievably sick; had thrown up several times. I had food poisoning and it last 11 days. The next day I called the diner just to tell them. I was not looking for a refund or a credit; I just wanted them to know what had happened. The guy I spoke with told me to call back the following morning to speak with the owner. I asked if the owner could return my phone call........after all, that would be the professional thing to do. If he had been professional and courteous he would have told me that. I decided not to call back and I'll never go back there again. Furthermore, I will make a complaint with the city about this diner. NEVER AGAIN. My place to go in Bay Ridge for a burger has always been Skinflints. I'll wait till I get there for my next burger. read more

When I lived in Bay Ridge, I usually frequented this place after I was done with the bars at 3, 4, or 5 in the a.m. I love diners, and these guys are great. All their different burgers are delicious, and around $10 for a platter with fries. Their salads also come in generous portions.
