Always fast service. Big servings and good prices. Feta cheese and spinach omelette, hamburger deluxe, and eggs over easy and waffles are the things I eat there quite often. Never disappoints. Man, these people are fast!

Great place to grab a burger for lunch not a huge location it has that old school diner feel to it which I enjoy the Brooklyn burger was delicious cooked just right piled with crispy bacon and onions which some jalapeño for some heat they carry your typical diner favorites only one person working but he was good very friendly and attentive one thing i wasn't pleased with was the convenience fee they charge for using a credit card

Decent delivery time, decent pie, decent price. All in all, this diner is decent. Good for late night, nothing else open moments. Meh

Fried calamari sucks!!!! It was over cooked, and very ruff, and did not taste good, It was probably their first time ever cooking it, and had no clue what they were doing. Cole slaw was nasty, it was probably sitting there for weeks. I ordered a burger it was average. Service was OK, the waiter had a funny zebra shirt on, that made me laugh. Only reason why i gave them 3 stars is because they have very good ranch dressing for me to dip my fries in,

    Corner diner.

That was such a perfect idea. First thing we were there, and it was a warm and sultry morning at 6:30AM with the sun up to greet us along with a New York bridge adorning the scene to the south, with us eating outside on the sidewalk I could not imagine a better send off from this great world city. Bagels were a perfect breakfast and we sucked those back in a jiffy. Just as we were finishing, members of the US military, maybe national guardsmen, showed up in black SUVs right in front of us and parked. They got out, a gaggle of them and headed in for their bagels. Well that's something to remember and not an every day sight for us being from Canada, and added to the local flavour of this epic road trip.

I pulled up and I see "Mr" Bagels cafe. For Brooklyn, it sounds like pure class. I'm sure the owner must have a pinky ring. Walking inside, the bagel counter are front and center. To the left, is a coffee bar with multiple coffee choices. Nice looking spot. I ask for a Sesame Bagel with Cream Cheese. Would you like that toasted sir? Wait a second Years ago, I asked for my bagel toasted at Murrays Bagels in Chelsea. The guy behind the counter? He lost his mind! The next day, they put up a hand written sign: No Toasted Bagels So I'm always lerry when asking for extras. Except the bagel guy asked me so I feel relaxed. I pour myself a cup of delicious French Roast Coffee and my bagel is ready. The bagel is perfect. It has a nice chew, just a little too big but thats my personal taste. The cream cheese, even though it's plain, is very silky. Mr Bagels, thank you. Until we meet again.

This spot is pure Brooklyn, with some great sounding sandwiches. Trust me, I looked over the menu and wanted to try everything on the menu. The #6 was a fantastic choice, Fresh Brooklyn Italian bread with a perfectly Fried Chicken Cutlet and topped with Roasted Peppers, Fresh Mozzarella and completed with an Oil Balsamic drizzle. Cash only spot, that's ok. Take my money! I'm coming back for the Thursday Special, the Homemade Roast Beef and Melted Fresh Mozzarella sandwich. (How awesome does that sound?!)

They told us we HAD to try Paneantico. Ended up being one of the best recommendations of the entire trip. Walking in on a Friday morning felt like stepping into a true neighborhood staple. The seating is tight and crowded, warm, lively, and homely. Union guys coming in and out, locals drinking coffee, and the whole place had that authentic old-school Brooklyn energy you hope to stumble into while traveling. Our waitress was amazing and honestly added so much to the experience. Super friendly, attentive, and had a heavy Brooklyn accent that somehow made the morning even better. We ordered hot oatmeal with fresh fruit and hot cocoa for the little one and she loved it. I got the grilled chicken, portobella, and fresh mozzarella hero with a cappuccino and a cannoli. Everything was fantastic, but the absolute star was their signature balsamic glaze that comes with the sandwich. Seriously unforgettable. It was so good that before flying back home, I came back one more time just to grab a slice of cheesecake and an Italian hero for the plane ride. Love when a place wasn't even part of the itinerary but somehow becomes one of the defining experiences of the trip. Can't wait to come back.
