Unfortunately, the lemon latte wasn't really for me, but I'm still glad I tried it! Understandably, I think the barista who served me might've not wanted to work on a holiday and was a bit short with me. That being said, the service was good overall.

This location is considerably smaller than the state location, not to mention, hidden away in the center. It still has a homey vibe with leather couches, rustic tables and a beautiful wooden bar top area. There were two employees hustling the best they could with a consistent steady line of customers. With this location being smaller, it does get a little cluttered at the ordering register. Unfortunately, my favorite bagel egg sandwich was not available as they were out of egg patties by 11am. At least the Asiago bagels were available and I bumped it up with herb cream cheese. Also got an iced Mexican mocha. Food and drinks did take a while longer to come out, understandably so. I will say that the Mexican mocha was incredibly well balanced and flavorful...much better than the state location. The bagel was toasted, but the outside was a little burnt. The smear of cream cheese was a lot...so much so, that I had to get a knife and take over half of it off (note to self: easy cream cheese or on the side when ordering). Seating outside was nice but the patio was small. Tough to seat 4 people inside when 2 people take the only 4-seater table to work.

Checking out local coffee joints is always fun for me so I stopped in today for my afternoon caffeinated beverage. The coffee shop is smaller, more intimate. I love the setting of this place. It looks like a log cabin. There's a few tables to sit at, comfy chairs to chill and enjoy your drink. All it's missing a fireplace. I could sit in front of the fireplace, sipping on my coffee for hours. The most perfect way to enjoy your coffee. There was only one barista working and she was hustling! There was a couple drinks that she was making for guests ahead of me. There was also a gentleman waiting to order and someone was also in the drive thru. I didn't mind waiting, it gave me some time to look over the drink menu and goodies that were available. I appreciate that they have a fun Valentines menu out. They also have quite a few speciality drinks. It's fun to step outside of your normal drink once in a while so I grabbed the Lucky Moose today. Since they have a great variety of sugar free syrups, I was able to get my drink sugar free. The Lucky Moose is a vanilla, caramel and Irish cream breve. I was kinda nervous having all these different flavors in one drink but it was worth a shot! My drink was tasty! The flavors all together are a little different but good. I am happy that I got to try it but it's probably something I won't get again. Maybe I'll do one less flavor next time. The breve was creamy. The flavors were noticeable. The espresso was bitter but balanced. It was a great iced breve. This place would be fun to chill at when the weather is nicer. There's tables and chairs outside with a nice awning. Grab a slice of pizza next door and then grab a goody to snack on as a dessert with an iced coffee. Talk about a good afternoon! I look forward to coming back and grabbing another drink from this joint. Everything about today's visit was great.

We were promptly greeted when we walked in, the girls were friendly and the place is very clean and welcoming. We ordered a frozen Maui iced, a deliciousness hot, and 2 breakfast burritos, 1 bacon and 1 sausage. Everything was delicious. The coffees were perfect and the burritos were great, very generous bacon and tasted homemade . Would definitely recommend this place if you are in the area. They have a special banana latte on the menu that we plan to go back and try before we head back home .

I looked up local coffee joints by me and luckily Push and Pour was by me. I took that as a sign and headed in. Plus this Push and Pour has been on my to go list so it was meant to be! I love that Garden City is starting to revamp and flourish. It's been great seeing all these new local businesses and homes growing. I didn't realize a couple restaurants that I was by to hit up are close to this shop so it will be a must to do a coffee and food run one afternoon. The vibe of this shop is chill. I love the outdoor seating. I look forward to cooler weather when the big garage doors are open. Inside is beautifully decorated. The art on the walls are just stunning. Enough seating to chill and enjoy your drink. I ordered an iced cold brew with sugar free vanilla and cream. I usually order an americano when I try a new spot out. I wanted a richer coffee taste today so the ice brew was a must. The gal behind the counter was super sweet. I told her about my new kidney and asked her to put the cream in my drink for me. I can't use communal creams or waters. Without hesitation she said yes. I appreciate her so much! My drink was perfect. The cold brew was rich in taste. I did add an extra pack of sweetner and it wad perfectly sweet. It did have the right amount of half and half of it. The sweet barista made a great drink for me today. I'm happy that I got to come in and peep this joint out. I kicked it inside for a bit and checked out the patio. It was nice enjoying my drink here. The venue is very unique and different. It included 5 pairings with food, coffee education, and a free tour of their roasting facility! My husband is a notorious coffee snob, so this was perfect. It lasted a few hours, and was lovely. We chatted with others at our table, enjoyed some delicious food, coffee, and even peaberry tea (a favorite). My husband especially enjoyed the roasting facility tour, which was led by a well-educated coffee enthusiast. She handed out amazing facts, generous tips, and favorite coffees. I usually hit a couple local joints that are right by the salon I work at. Conveniently, Dawson Taylor was right there so I took it as a sign to head in. This coffee joint is so cool. Walked in and instantly noticed how pretty the shop is. I was greeted right away. I told the gentleman that greeted me that I was going to use the ladies room real quick. I will have to say, the bathroom is so dope. I love all the quotes that were written on the walls. You don't realize how long you're actually in the bathroom when you're reading all the tiles. After reading a handful of tiles, I finally made my way out. I got my usual coffee when I try a new joint out. Gives every shop an even playing field. So I got myself an iced americano with sugar free vanilla and room for cream. I had asked the barista for cream to be poured in the back by him. I had told him about my new kidney when I ordered and that I can't really use communal things. He proceeded to tell me the cream was at the table. I really didn't want to use it but I did. I poured a little of it out before I added the cream to my drink. I also used a napkin to hold the handle. I try not to be a germaphobe but it's hard not to be when your immune system is non existent. I made my way outside to sit under the sun and absorb the afternoon energy. I did add couple packets of my sweetner to my drink to sweetnen it a tad. I like my drinks on the sweeter side. Wow, this drink is absolute perfection. You can taste the espresso. It was very present and bitter. It wasn't watered down and light. I appreciate how bold the espresso is. The cream added a nice richness to the drink. The sweetner did enhance the taste of the vanilla. This americano was so good! I ended up walking to Cecil Andrus park and enjoying the rest of my drink there. It was just what I needed this afternoon. This joint is just another block away from the salon I work at which will be so nice and convenient to head down to for an afternoon caffeinated beverage. Another joint I will have to frequent. I will be back soon for another round of this fabulous americano. Especially after a long day at work.
