Lobster carbonara

Always a consistent delicious meal! Friendly staff, clean restaurant and restrooms. The filet and the carbonara are great choices!

This is one of the best meals I've ever had. The space is absolutely on point. So pretty and so trendy! But the food!!!! OMG! We started with some of the best mussels I've ever had. The iteration on the menu was a curry broth that was rich and light all at the same time. The menu has meat and 2 or more options. We had a FIVE STAR meal at such an amazing price! I got blackened catfish- perfectly cooked, moist and with just the right amount of spice. The grits were creamy and delicious, the coleslaw crispy and zingy, but y'all = the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. It was literally the BEST Mac and cheese I've ever had in my life. It's something you absolutely MUST put in your mouth! My partner had the smothered pork chop with candied yams and the most decadent mashed potatoes we've eaten. Also a five-star meal. I can't say enough good things about Forklift!!!

Awesome place. First time to Tupelo. On our way home from the big Cedar Lodge at table rock Lake on the border of Missouri and Arkansas. Better meal than we had at big cedar at half the price! Signature bourbon drinks are the bomb. Upper end food at not overly inflated prices. Large wedged salad, large bowl of French onion soup, braised, short ribs, two glasses of house, wine, and three signature bourbons. 140 bucks.

The 'outdoor room'.

Stopped in Tupelo again on our way from Florida to Kansas City and found this lovely place on Jackson Street. Chose out because we were stopping in early and read there was a great happy hour. No happy hour but a great food menu and cocktail menu and even better service. Denzel was informed and friendly and very helpful. Started with the Mississippi Old Fashioned which was beautiful and delicious. I couldn't decide between the grilled or raw oysters so did what any self-respecting woman would do and had them both. So very glad I did. Just perfect. The raw did not need anything but lemon juice and my tummy. The grilled were served with perfectly grilled and buttered bread. M had the blackened shrimp tacos that were perfectly grilled. Forgot to say we started with roasted beet and goat cheese salad. And ended, á grace á Yelp and checking in, their unbelievable moist, sticky banana pudding cake. Everything was perfect.

Great place and super good food! The service was excellent as well! The clams are so so so yummy and the vibe was great lol.

This is our meals.

The food was amazing!! The French Onion soup was one of the best we've ever ate. Our entrees were really perfect. I ordered the 8oz fillet with mashed potatoes& sautéed asparagus. My husband ordered the mahi-mahi over grits with sautéed Brussel sprouts. The service was exemplary. Yes it's pricey but so worth a nice date restaurant. We travel 100% of our jobs & eat out most tot the time & this was by far the best tasting hands down!!

Excellent food and service every time. The daily fish special is always superb. We are also very partial to the mussels appetizer.

Well unfortunately I have waited too long in writing my review. However I couldn't let it go…read morewithout one. We were headed back from AR from a graduation and while staying in Tupelo found this restaurant close to our hotel. Not from being around the area weren't real sure about it but only because we were not seeing a lot of food items we liked. However because it was close by our hotel and the star rating was high, we decided to try it out. Oh my gosh; I am so glad we did. Even months ago enjoying our food to now, I can still remember how amazingly tasty our food was. My hubby and I shared the Dirty Grains with greens and things. We both have never had greens in our lives, but our server told us they were very scrumptious at the Blue Canoe. She was spot on!! They were delicious, really the entire meal was DELISH!! I am so glad we shared the dish because it was a lot and very filling. Now the restaurants famous sauce that is made fresh every day is worth its weight in gold. Our server has been there a very long time and she said she is the gal who makes it daily. I can't really explain the taste but it is very, very tasty. We were so full and it as going to pass on dessert. Of course our server told us about their dessert that is #1 on the menu...Connie's Blueberry Doughnut Bread Pudding (pictured). Once again super scrumptious and worth every calorie. If you are new to the area I highly recommend a trip to the Blue Canoe. It doesn't look like much outside and inside it can seem like a dive. It isn't because it's been around d a while and the ambiance is really cool!! The parking lot gets quite full and was just a bit challenging to maneuver our large 250 GMC truck but we managed. This place is a gem and well worth our visits when we are traveling through. I'd love to go when they have live music but not sure when we will be driving through.

Go here, it's everything you need as advertised!…read more Service is great, they always have live music, good draft beer menu.
