Back then the hamburger was 50 cents and we got a Coke from the cooler in the floor against the wall. It was so good. Then he helped us on the stools. We thought that was the most swanky restaurant anywhere around. To us that was the ultimate experience in food! I usually got 2 and my brother did too. Let me tell you it has not changed a bit and I am 70 years young. So that is a long time to continue to achieve excellency. I get a burger every chance I get. Now for me, I would rather eat all beef rather than whatever the stuff is they put in there as a substitute. It's a simple place with great burgers.
