Yup, they're serious, enjoy the atmosphere not your cell.

WoW, very unique atmosphere, and a local gem for sure. I was in town for a truck show and was told I had to come check this place out. This is a no thrills, nothing fancy, burger joint with a flare for art of creating a whimsical burger. Their grinds are truly unique, and the food was phenomenal. I only ordered a burger, no side, since I was short on time. I did get to try a few of buddies fries and they were very good as well. I'm already planning another trip to the area so I can come back again. I Dat at the bar and had great service. Yes, I would highly recommend them.

A must visit in Tupelo. Try the organic tofu with the balsamic reduction, paired with cucumber salad. Neon Pig accommodates all vegan and Kosher needs. Can't recommend enough.

In Tupelo, MS there's a butcher shop/restaurant that is a "MUST DINE" if you are in the area. Neon Pig seems to incorporate the best of both worlds. You can actually pick something from the butcher case and they will cook it up for you! Sitting at the bar and watching the Grill Master operate I was thinking a burger, but when told about the lunch special I knew I had to try it. Three braised beef tacos with curry slaw, chow chow, pickled onions, quick pickles, their homemade "comeback sauce", and Hoisin sauce. I was in awe watching them create this dish and when it was presented I couldn't wait to dig in. I thought there was a lot going on here...but it will blow you away how great all of the flavors and textures work together. First time I've had a braised beef taco like this...and I will never forget it. The fries are freshly made and I loved how they were thick with a crispy exterior and fluffy inside. Overall great bar selection for beers, the place is comfortable, and the folks working there were very friendly. No doubt I will come back and have them cook me up a steak from the butcher's case. Love local spots like this serving up great food and taking care of their customers!!!

I heard that this place won The Best Burger in America by Thrillist but I didn't realize it was for 2015. As soon as I walked in I was warmly welcomed and given a menu , there were a few people dining but not too many, it was still early. The restaurant is also a place where you can purchase fresh meat, like a mini butter shop. The meat looked really good, the next time I'm in town and need some meat I'll give them a try! They also had T-Shirts for you to buy to remember your visit. It was a very casual, laidback environment and I enjoyed it. I ordered the Famous Smash Burger to see how good it was. Could it be the best burger I've had? It's served on a Ciabatta Bun with Benton's Bacon Bits, Cheddar, Quick Pickles, Pickled Onions, Hoisin and Comeback Sauce. I got it to go. It looked and smelled good, after my first bite all I could taste were the Quick Pickles. I had way too many, once I removed them it tasted a lot better. I also feel it was a tad overcooked a little dry. I should have specified how I wanted it cooked. It was a good burger, Not the Best but I would definitely go back and try some other things on the menu. I would give it 3.5 Stars. Keep up the good work!

First timers, we walked in the door and the bar tender was telling us something but we couldn't hear over the music. He pointed, so we walked to the other side. We got there around two pm, so it wasn't very busy. The server came to us right away and told us the specials and learning we hadn't been in before, suggested the smash burger, so we both ordered that and truffle fries. There is a soda bar and you get your own sodas. The food arrived quickly and hot on parchment paper. The burger was good, a little peppery for my taste but my husband really liked it. Truffle fries are awesome!

We were traveling through Tupelo as we were driving down the Natchez Trace Parkway. The Neon Pig had great reviews and was easily accessed from the Natchez Trace. Wow! We were not disappointed. We arrived just after the lunch rush and were greeted immediately upon walking in the door. Since we missed the rush, we were told to sit wherever we wanted. The waitstaff was very friendly and explained to us how all their meat was ground on site and was always fresh. Some of the burgers are a mix of beef and pork. Both of the burgers we ordered were absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the Smash Burger and I ordered the Project Pat-ty Melt. Both were wonderful and packed with flavor. We cut the burgers in half and shared with each other. I'm glad we did because the burgers were both good but both were very different. The Smash burger uses the "smash grind" which consists of the filet, ribeye, sirloin, NY strip, and bacon. It also had pickled onions. I think the pickles were homemade as well. Very very good burger. The patty melt comes with the secret meatball grind with pepper jack cheese and caramelized onions on an inverted bun (sorta like Texas Toast). Bottom line - Absolutely a wonderful burger. An easy five-star review. This is a must-try if you are traveling the Natchez Trace and need to grab a bite. Definitely worth the visit. Bon appétit appétit, y'all.

The Neon Pig is pretty much the total package if you are looking for a great burger and fries in Tupelo, Mississippi. The Neon Pig has a cool, hip ambiance and vibe. Our server was absolutely amazing and the smash burger was incredible and my loaded fries were probably the best fries that I ever had. Yes, these might be the best fries that I ever had. The prices are decent enough, especially when considering the quality of the food. I can't think of one negative about our experience at the Neon Pig. This place is truly amazing. If you find yourself in Tupelo, Mississippi, you have to check out the Neon Pig. It is that good. And do not miss out on the fries.

Traveling from Tuscaloosa from Oxford and stumbled upon this gem. Although located in a strip center this place does not disappoint. The menu has quite a few options - burgers, sandwiches, entrees, etc.. As noted be other reviews, the staff recommended I give the "Belvis" a try. It was outstanding. Definitely in top echelon of burgers I have ever had. The meat and toppings are expertly matched up. The melty pimento cheese is quite the touch. I liked the seasoning so much I bought of bottle of it to take home. The service is really good. The ambiance is very casual. When in Tupelo, you should definitely check this place out. N*joy!

Service was pretty quick, had some of the best food I ever had. They even had spicy fries and they were pretty hot. Their sauces and I believe seasonings are all house made. Seemed like they stay pretty busy. It was a nice experience. A little noisy but it'll be like that in a busy place.

If you're in the Tupelo area Neon Pig is a must stop. A small little butcher shop with a special smash grind burger unlike anything you've ever tasted. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, you can sit at the bar and watch your food being cooked or at a table. You will want to get here early, it fills up pretty quick. Being that I live over 400 miles away I wanted to buy some of the smash burger to bring home and share, the service for helping us get the meat prepared to getting ice for our cooler was amazing. If you're close to the area, try the smash grind, you will understand why it's received so many awards!

Our Smash burgers were scrumptious. The Mac Daddy was superb and the loaded fries had just the right amount of seasoning & parmesan cheese. The service was excellent and our server was amazing. The overall experience was top notch. We will be back again soon. Keep up the great work Neon Pig!

We were headed back from AR from a graduation and while staying in Tupelo found this restaurant close to our hotel. Not from being around the area weren't real sure about it but only because we were not seeing a lot of food items we liked. However because it was close by our hotel and the star rating was high, we decided to try it out. Oh my gosh; I am so glad we did. Even months ago enjoying our food to now, I can still remember how amazingly tasty our food was. My hubby and I shared the Dirty Grains with greens and things. We both have never had greens in our lives, but our server told us they were very scrumptious at the Blue Canoe. She was spot on!! They were delicious, really the entire meal was DELISH!! I am so glad we shared the dish because it was a lot and very filling. Now the restaurants famous sauce that is made fresh every day is worth its weight in gold. Our server has been there a very long time and she said she is the gal who makes it daily. I can't really explain the taste but it is very, very tasty. We were so full and it as going to pass on dessert. Of course our server told us about their dessert that is #1 on the menu...Connie's Blueberry Doughnut Bread Pudding (pictured). Once again super scrumptious and worth every calorie. If you are new to the area I highly recommend a trip to the Blue Canoe. It doesn't look like much outside and inside it can seem like a dive. It isn't because it's been around d a while and the ambiance is really cool!! The parking lot gets quite full and was just a bit challenging to maneuver our large 250 GMC truck but we managed. This place is a gem and well worth our visits when we are traveling through. I'd love to go when they have live music but not sure when we will be driving through.

Usually, the eggrolls come with avocado ranch, so we waited for our server, Shelby, to come back so we could ask for the right sauce and some small plates. It took a bit, but again, it was busy. When Shelby came back, we asked for avocado ranch, blue cheese, and the small plates. We started eating the wings while we waited, and they were overcooked. Shelby brought everything out, but the avocado ranch was chunky, and I've never seen it look like that anywhere. I added a photo because it was honestly shocking that someone thought that was okay to serve. When she checked on us again, my sister asked if we could get the avocado ranch that actually comes with the eggrolls. Shelby said that was it, they just "didn't mix it well." We asked if the kitchen could make a new one, and she said she'd check. She came back apologizing, saying the chef said no. She offered a different sauce, but at that point we didn't want anything else. Shelby was nice and did what she could, but the issues coming from the kitchen, the overcooked wings and especially the chunky avocado ranch, were a huge letdown.
