We were in Tupelo, Mississippi, for a soccer game, so our team stopped by @lostpizza for some post-game fun. The main room is large with a high ceiling, but there's also a side room fit for groups and a covered patio when the weather cools down a bit. You can choose from thin-crust or thick-crust pizza. I ordered a thick crust pepperoni, but they brought me thin crust. I ate it anyway, and they brought me a thick crust pepperoni to take home! Excellent service recovery!!! My son grabbed a meat lovers (Otis) pizza, and he really liked it. We also got the cheese bread sticks, which I highly recommend. Lost Pizza also had several local and national beers on tap and in their cooler. I wasn't sure which IPA I wanted, so they let me try them both. As I walked in, I thought this could be a fun place for a group of friends to hang out and have a good time. The decor is fun and of course pays tribute to Elvis! Everyone I encountered was friendly and helpful, great customer service. I got a small sausage and mushroom thin crust to go. As I waited I took that opportunity to look around a take a few pics. They were pretty busy so my expectations were high. I don't review regular pizza places the same as a Chicago or NYC pie, that wouldn't be fair. We all know the crust makes the pizza and I didn't appreciate this crust so much. It had a strange texture and taste. I couldn't put my finger on it almost like play dough. Maybe because I got a thin crust. I would definitely revisit this place to try something else on the menu. I hope I just caught them on an off day. read more

Ok I have to update my last review. Came here again because it was convenient and across from our hotel. I did not want a chain pizza like Pizza Hut or Domino's. I forgot we came here before and I did not like the crust. I STILL don't like the crust it's heavy, dense with no flavor!!!! Blah, the crust is not light Neapolitan style or New York style, it is just dense bread dough like. I got the hippy I think it was called which is vegetarian I want to say the toppings were fresh, but I couldn't tell. Friend got the artichoke dip appetizer. It was fine. services are fair, you order at the counter and they bring you your order but how can you be a pizza place and have horrible pizza dough? I agree with my last review, I called it "LOST" Pizza because they lost a pizza dough recipe. Next time....Pizza Hut!!! Another star for good beer selection. read more

Staying at a nearby hotel and the concierge recommended Lost Pizza. (As nearby). Staff was friendly. Experience was just as other reviews described. A small pizza was $12 but it was the size of a Taco Bell pizza. I've attached a picture. Pizza was ok but there was nothing premium about the taste or ingredients. Consider how many people you're feeding if you're sharing, Side chef salad for $6.99 had a lot of iceberg lettuce in the box. The homemade ranch was good. Lettuce was not crisp so it was either pre bagged lettuce or not rinsed but it wasn't a nice crisp salad that I expected for my Saturday night dinner. read more

Had a really nice meal here while in town. I'm from Chicago, so even the best pizza in Mississippi is going to barely hold a candle to what we have in town. But keeping that in mind and setting expectations accordingly, I thought everything here was really tasty. We had a few different pizzas, some thin and some thick. I think the thick pizza was a lot better and reminded me of having sort of the same crust as Pizza Hut back in the 80s when they were a lot higher quality. Beer on tap was mostly local, which was always appreciated, and the staff was all super friendly. I may have lost about $20 at the claw machine, but that is a mistake of my own doing. From the moment we walked in, I knew this was not going to be a great experience. You have to place your order at the counter...the person behind the counter was unsure about the menu. We ordered an appetizer, Artichoke dip, a medium pizza, 1 Blue Moon beer (no orange slices available) and 1 soft drink. The appetizer was hot and tasty. The pizza came...it was tiny! So we questioned if this was a medium. It was! Our bill was $50! Plus they ask you to tip when you place your order, so no service is required. Needless to say this was a huge disappointment. First time here and I have to say the El Diablo was one of the tastiest pizzas I have had in a long time. The spice level was just right for me. It had a bit of a kick without blowing my head off. As A guide I am happy to eat Jalapeños but anything hotter like a habanero, I treat with respect. This had a good amount of jalapeños and banana peppers on it but the cheese and sauce took a little bit of the fire out of the heat. The decor in the restaurant is really cool with one wall covered in old posters, album covers, car tags and the hood off an old VW beetle I believe. They also have an Elvis statue in the window. Next time I am in town I will certainly be eating here again as they had two or three other pizzas that sound delicious like "The Pit Boss" read more

Sadly, $10 doesn't get you what it used to not so long ago, but this is a great pizza. Avoiding chain restaurants when I travel, I like to find a local spot to try out. Staff were friendly, abundant, and very prompt. Atmosphere was fun, as was the decor, and Elvis was at the door to greet you (it's Tupelo, after all!). Food was ready in a jiffy and delivered hot and fresh. The Diablo could use just a bit more spice to live up to its infernal namesake, but I like spicy food. I am up at 2:00 in the morning sick from eating their spaghetti and meatballs. I should have learned my lesson a few months back when I ordered their chips and broke my tooth because they are so hard. The chocolate pizza was okay. It's honestly only good warm or the crust gets cold and chewy. It was just chocolate syrup, Cinnamon and cream cheese icing drizzled over a normal pizza crust. If you're looking for a slab of dough with some sauce and toppings put on it and this is your kind of pizza place overall I would say it is not better than Papa John's or Domino's and not worse then Papa John's or dominoes. If you look at the pictures in the yelp review it should give you some idea there's a lot of crap on the walls and not a lot of pictures of the food there's a reason for that that should be your first clue I would say buyer beware! Not impressed is an understatement. Ordered the large taco pizza. Supposed to be thin crust... if THAT is their thin crust I'd hate to see how thick and doughy their regular crust is.
