I usually stop by here between work meetings and usually it is good but it was a fail tonight. Super busy but that should not lower food quality. Ceasar salad less good except messy it had some cheddar cheese shreds that look liked they fell into the salad. I did the pasta special - that had brisket- my first bite was nothing but fat. ZThe 2nd bite with what little meat was there had another rind of side fat - I'm all about some fat but there was not really any meat. portion size was about 1 1/2 cups of pasta and sauce for 19.99 - and over fatty meat. The bread was smoked like black when there is water on a grill instead of just line grill marks . Service was ok. I will be back if I travel again but will stick to my regulars . read more

Meh. We were visiting Tupelo for the day, as we frequently do, and wanted to try something different from the Neon Pig, where we ALWAYS go. Fairpark was one of the top hits for lunch on Yelp, so decided to give it a try. This is one of those places that tries to be everything to everyone, with a very large menu to prove it. I never care for these places, and Fairpark is no different. The service was fine (sort of bare minimum), the ambiance is pleasant enough, but not really any standouts. My husband did say the wings were very good, but it was impossible to identify the runny dressings, which were supposed to be ranch and bleu cheese. My shrimp tacos tasted slightly of rancid oil, and my husband's burger was dry. So, yeah, just meh. read more

This is obviously a well-known and well-attended restaurant. I was wise to go on the early end of supper, because a wait line developed pretty quickly after I was seated and had ordered. I decided to go with the blackened catfish Lagniappe, and boy was I happy with that choice. Before the main course arrived, the servers brought my side house salad, which turned out to be large and filling. I was unprepared for the bites of pork belly, but they went well with the blue cheese dressing I requested. I held off on finishing the salad, and that was another good choice. My entree was Blackened Catfish on Jalapeno Gouda Grits with a Cajun Andouille Gravy. As you can see by the attached photo, there were no leftovers to take back with me when it came to the fish & grits. The expertly blackened catfish fillet was draped over a mound of perfectly-cooked and cheese-thickened grits. A little cape of the "gravy" was a lovely taste explosion, with the sausage bites adding yet another texture to the meal. I can't say anything about desserts, because I had no room. Next time in Tupelo, I'm headed back there, maybe to find out. read more

Decided to take a ride over to meet the family while they were Black Friday shopping and this was a great place for lunch. Our server was excellent and offered suggestions when I ask about a couple of dishes. I ended up with the Salmon and it was outstanding, others ordered the ribeye steak sandwich, fried catfish special and we had fried pepper jack as an appetizer. I would recommend this place for sure! Fairpark Grill is a great restaurant to head towards if you are in the Tupelo, Mississippi area or honestly, anywhere in the area. Let me start by saying that theirncheese sticks were probably the best cheese sticks that I have ever had anywhere. My client had them make it with pepperjack cheese instead of the more traditional mozzarella and I wasvfloored with how good they were. If you do dine at the Fairpark Grill, you must get these cheese stocks. If you do not, you have done yourself a grave disservice. I also had their ribeye sandwich on sourdough bread for my main course. Again, this was an incredible choice. This was not like a Philadelphia style cheesesteak where it is chopped, but rather a thin steak filet. They asked how i wanted my steak cooked and i responded medium-rare. They cooked it to a perfect medium-rare. This is incredibly difficult with such a thin piece of meat. The ambiance has a somewhat more upscale feel without being stuffy and the prices are more than fair. The service was also top-notch. If you find yourself in the Tupelo, Mississippi area, you must stop here and whatever you get for your entrée, you must get those cheesesticks. I definitely recommend here and give it five stars overall. read more

The drinks are excellent. I do enjoy the look after construction, but I also enjoyed beforehand as well. 9/10 the food is amazing! The steak is often cooked excellently, the seafood pasta is spiced well. However, the first time I took my parents we all got the same thing, steak skewers. Our steak was cooked perfectly, but I believe it may have sat in the window for a moment too long as it was cool by the time it got to the table. I also normally order a Caesar salad with spinach, and it usually I have to send it back and reorder as they'll serve it with romaine (just a personal taste). However, both of the above complaints normally happen only in super busy nights! The service is always excellent! Absolutely AMAZING! I cannot emphasize this enough. 12/10 recommend dining here! Especially if you're new to the area. We're traveling through from Missouri and almost went to a different restaurant but I'm so glad we changed directions last minute. Kaleigh was our server, she was BEYOND sweet and so attentive. Literally so great that I'm writing this review before even leaving the restaurant from dinner. Due to medical issues, my boyfriend can't have salt. Kaleigh and her manager went out of their way to ensure my boyfriend knew the sodium levels in his food BEFORE processing his order to ensure it was safe for him to eat. They genuinely cared to keep him, a stranger, healthy and alive. Kaleigh also recommended basically our entire meal to us (ribeye sandwich with sweet potato tots & bourbon street nachos) and made fresh sweet tea for me! The meals were nothing short of amazing, the cooks did a fantastic job preparing all of it. Everything was so fresh and filled with flavor. I really loved the nacho queso being on the side so my chips weren't all soggy and smothered! The meal also didn't immediately hurt my boyfriend which is always a plus. Kaleigh and two of her managers both went out of their way to check on us frequently (but not too often) and were so fantastic to just have a conversation with. This was a highlight to a very long day. The restaurant itself is also just so cozy and it's busy for a very good reason! Yet the popularity did not stunt the quality of the service or food even slightly. I'm just as excited to eat my left overs as I was to get my food!
