I didn't realize this was a chain when we decided to eat here. My bad. Our server was fantastic! She had the whole place and worked as a greeter and server. She was very busy but managed to get to everyone. The beignets had way too much powdered sugar (I ordered light sugar based on photos I had seen beforehand). I think the sugar covers the beignets itself to make it more presentable. I would skip these. The rest of the food was average.

My brother wanted to get breakfast here so it was the perfect opportunity for me to see if it is as good as the first time. I placed the order for pick up and the lady that I spoke with was friendly and helpful. I was surprised that it was not as busy as the last time, sure there were a few diners but nothing like before. It's a cute and cozy place. I made it back and the food was still warm so I plated it up, took a few pics and dove right in. Yes, it's as delicious as before! I got The Bayou Tomatoes again. it's fried green tomatoes with a crawfish and shrimp sauce. I don't know how they manage to keep the tomatoes from getting soggy but they hold up beautifully under the rich sauce. They have a winner with this one!

Overall it was great! I just had a few things that I think should be known before you go. Walked in on a Friday morning, not busy and was a great location. Sat at the bar, got a to-go order. Ordered the Tupelo honey chicken, side of bacon, some beignets and a coffee. Why did that equal $33????? Ok so there is an up charge for the eggs, and that's understandable but dang. There is a "service charge of $3 and THREE different taxes charged. If you know this walking into the place to eat, the bill won't be a surprise. That all being said. The employees were nice and attentive. Food came out fast and since it was to-go, all packaged nicely. No problems when I opened it later. Now the food? AMAZING! The food was so good! Zero complaints. It was all so fresh and perfectly balanced. Honey was so good! Check this place out, just be prepared to be nickeled and dimed to death.

I love brick & spoon.. I was going 2 to 3 times out of a week!! the service is wonderful, especially the bar area. The mimosas are great especially on Tuesday. You get 2for1. They do have deals throughout the week but not on the weekends. the atmosphere is great kind friendly people!! great place to go for something quick or on the go!! although they do keep busy, so I suggest arriving early... I almost tried everything on the menu, but my favorite is avocado toast. If you don't like something they are willing to fix the issue.

Reviews are full of haters! First, best dam cup of coffee on the Natchez Trace Parkway!! Our server had hot Beinets on our table before she took our breakfast order! The shrimp creole omelette is full of flavor. Yeah it's going to look a little overcooked because of all the ingredients! The Eggs Benedict Florentine was over the top. The holidays were definitely perfect! Great playlist in the background, servers dancing, this place is a vibe! My only regret was not having a bloody Mary.

Great brunch spot! I'd give 5 stars except 1 item was off. The kids fruit had gone sour. The waitress was superb and swapped the side without delay. Every dish was delicious and unsweetened tea was very nice.

Came in for a Brunch meal not from this area and what a delicious meal experience! The sweet young waitress was very attentive and helpful with many delicious variety of dishes to choose from. I spotted the bananas foster pancakes, which were amazing. It made me think I was on Bourbon Street in New Orleans. I highly, highly recommend those. Next I had 2 eggs and 3 nice crispy pieces of bacon and coffee that was always kept filled. I typically would not have eaten all of this but I was traveling so the leftovers would not have made it to my home destination. If you are hungry and want the taste of a bit of New Orleans and Tupelo Honey restaurant type recipes I would highly suggest you make this a definite dining choice. There were many items on their menu I recognize from Tupelo Honey's menu on there. I would give this restaurant and experience a 10 out of 10! Great Job!! Best meal I had during my 2 day stay. A++

What a pleasant surprise and addition to the Tupelo area this is. We enjoyed the Cafe Beignets to get started. I followed with the Tupelo Honey Chick, which is "an open-faced biscuit smothered in sausage gravy, topped with two (2) chicken tenders, two sunny-side eggs & drizzled with sriracha honey." The food was excellent. The service (I believe our server said her name was Essence) was equally outstanding. The atmosphere while small/medium sized, is friendly and inviting. At around 10:00am they started live music, for a nice brunch feel. I would definitely recommend, and will be returning.

Good food, fair service, but long wait times. Great spot for brunch. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location - it's very good.

The Farmhouse: Where Breakfast Comes Home to Roost…read more If you've read my reviews before, you know I'm not a particularly hard-boiled egg to crack. I don't demand gold-plated cutlery or waiters who can sabre a champagne bottle with a flourish. Give me solid food, a smile that doesn't feel forced, and a room that looks like it's seen a vacuum this decade, and I'll be happier than a biscuit in gravy. That said, The Farmhouse didn't just meet my expectations--it pulled a full-on "Avengers Assemble" and brought them together in a satisfying, bacon-scented breakfast epic. First impressions? Think "Little House on the Prairie" meets "HGTV on a budget"--rustic charm with just enough polish to let you know someone actually tried. The tablecloths are hanging on by a thread (literally), but the space itself is clean, comfy, and as inviting as grandma's front porch. Judging by the bustling Friday morning crowd, I'd say I'm not the only one who got the memo. The service? Friendlier than your favorite aunt at a church potluck. The staff had that rare balance of attentiveness without hovering. There's a sign on the wall that reads, "Come in a stranger, leave as a friend." I half-expected them to follow it up with "You've got a friend in me," Toy Story-style. Now, onto the reason we're all here: the food. Spoiler alert--it didn't disappoint. Mom ordered the Farmhouse Southern Omelette with home fries and gave it rave reviews. She praised the bacon-to-veggie ratio like it was a fine wine pairing and declared the seasoning "just right," in her best Goldilocks impression. The home fries? House-made and heart-warming. My wife went full Southern with the Hearty Breakfast, and it did exactly what it said on the menu--hearty enough to power a tractor and delicious enough to make you consider canceling lunch. She gave special kudos to the biscuits and gravy, which she claimed were "fluffy, creamy, and possibly blessed." As for me, I went for the Big Moo--a 10-ounce ribeye with eggs and a rogue pancake that snuck onto my plate like it was auditioning for dessert. The steak was a tad undercooked but well-seasoned enough that I didn't mind. And the tater tots? Crispy, golden nuggets of joy. I'd pair them with everything if society would let me. I was so pleased, I channeled my inner Ratatouille critic and requested a word with the chef. Chef John greeted me with the kind of genuine smile that says, "Yes, I do get up at 4 a.m. to make magic happen, and no, I don't regret it." He welcomed us back like old friends--which, by the vibe of the place, we might just be now. This, dear reader, is what I imagined when I dreamed of Alabama mornings: honest food, kind people, and a sense that somewhere nearby, a rooster might actually be crowing. The Farmhouse isn't trying to reinvent breakfast--it's just doing it right. To paraphrase The Godfather: Just when I thought I was out (of room), they pulled me back in--with another bite. Bravo, Farmhouse. Never change!

I usually order takeout but the food is always cooked fresh and the portions are excellent. You…read morewon't be hungry when you finish your plate thats for sure. Really good food and good service.
