Avocado Toast with 2 poached eggs
    Tina T.

We ate brunch at Fork Lore. The waitress that took our order was super smiley and friendly. However, the person who served the food was not. He placed the plates in front of us randomly and when we asked what the plates were, he didn't answer. Not sure if he didn't know what they were or didn't hear us, but it happened multiple times and he would just randomly put the plates down in front of us without announcing what it was or ask who ordered what. We had to do musical chairs with the plates which felt really odd to be blatantly ignored. The Broken Yolk Sandwich was not what I was expecting. The egg was not runny despite the asterisk warning for consuming raw foods and its name. The sandwich felt heavy, especially with the mayo making it feel greasy. The avocado toast on the other hand was delightful. The two poached eggs on top had the perfect yolk that literally dripped down your hand and bread. The restaurant was very pet friendly. There were patrons with pets in the dining area. It felt like a nice family friendly place.

    Soup of the day

The soup was quite possibly the smallest serving of soup I've ever seen. My spoon could sit on the bottom and still could see the sides of the spoon. Like maybe 5 spoonfuls. It was laughable how small the serving was... had I known that I wouldn't have ordered it. However, the soup was the only thing taste wise I would choose to eat again. The kids chicken tenders were so hard the kids had trouble chewing them. The fries were hot and soft, so that was positive. The garlic aioli was basically mayo. The pickled onions on the sandwich tasted funky and I normally love pickled vegetables. Overall really disappointed I wasted my one stop through Asheville here...

We were staying at the hotel on our drive from Indiana to Florida, and decided to have breakfast at this hotel restauarant. It was beautifully decorated and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast menu offered about a dozen of the standard breakfast options. I had a three egg vegetable and cheese omelet that came with potatoes and toast. My husband had classic eggs Benedict, with potatoes. Both dishes were plentiful and tasty. We would definitely eat here again if we return to the area.

So easy to forget about this great restaurant tucked inside the Hilton Biltmore Park. Random I know but they have the best meatballs you've ever had either as appetizer or sandwich. Sorry they were gone before I could take pic. Trust me get them! Maybe it's the waygu. So tasty! Great drinks reasonably priced for hotel bar and restaurant. Waygu burgers excellent and some other great choices as well including salmon and Chicken pot pie that is very good. Enjoyed our carrot cake dessert. Staff were very friendly. Parking easy and convenient.

Hard pass unless you are a chip fanatic like me. Got the chicken sandwich and burger, but the only thing that appealed to me were the house-made seasoned chips. Yup, I wouldn't buy anything else. Plus, this restaurant is located inside of a hotel sooo, yeah it's not a stand alone spot you can bring your appetite to.

Nice brunch spot. Not a huge menu for the non-egg eaters, but there are some options. I went with cheese grits, turkey sausage, and breakfast potatoes. Everything was yummy. The grits were cooked perfectly and seasoned so nicely. The turkey sausage was flavorful (not bland like some turkey sausage can be!) and the breakfast potatoes were seasoned lightly as well. My guy had the "Build Your Own Omelette" and pancakes. Nice portions and again they were spot on with the seasoning. My mimosa was big and not skimpy on the champagne. The location is inside a Hilton and kind of wide open next to the front desk, but parking was plentiful in the area. Our server was Laura and she was so friendly and gave us happy vibes.

Beautiful place prices very from nicely affordable to little price-er depending on what ur ordering, but honestly the quality and taste is worth any price, I got the bacon angus burger BEST BURGER OF ALL TIME- Cheese and bun was hand made and the bacon tasted like smoked pork it was soooooo good and I got there chocolate fudge cake as well Everything there was amazing and my husbands desert and food were amazing as well. Besides the food the seats there were also very comfy and our waitress was super nice and friendly as well. Will be going anytime I'm in town again!

Had a work dinner here and it was a great setting. We had about a dozen people and they were very accommodating not seating anyone else in our area. The food was great but I thought pretty pricey for what you got. $25 for a salad with salmon and I've gotten bigger salads for half that price but this is in hotel and touristy area. Staff was ok, waiter made me and coworker feel like we were putting him out when I asked for ice when he refilled our water. They never came by while we ate and asked if we needed anything and then while we were trying to talk business after meal he kept hanging around asking about dessert. It's not a place I'll pick to go back to but worker ok for what we needed.

The restaurant is very good for a hotel restaurant. We went in at 8 on a Thursday night and it was quiet. The waitress and bartender were very nice. My dad and I got the trout. It was good, nicely simple, allowing the trout to take front and center. Sides were good as well. Husband had a fried chicken sandwich and after the first bite was extolling it's virtues. Wine was EXPENSIVE but the ones we had were very good. I do suggest you were long pants or bring a sweater/ sweatshirt. The a/c was on full and it was cold. Would I go here again, dunno. There are so many options in the area, I might look around first.

Wow! This gem is tucked inside the Hilton and a delicious stop for dinner before a movie at the Biltmore Regal. We met friends and within minutes we were seated (we made reservations) and had menus. Highly recommend the pimento cheese and chips appetizer as well as the peanut butter pie for dessert! The bacon cheddar black angus burger came with a generous slice of delicious cheddar and the burger was tasty! Paired it with sweet potato fries- yum! The grilled chicken sandwich had a wonderful flavor and was on the tastiest bread! Paired with a delicious house salad and it was a meal that we'd definitely go back for! They have an extensive drink menu and while we had just water, we watched many interesting drinks come out!

What a surprise! We aren't typically drawn to hotel restaurants and were surprised to find this in the bar of the Hilton. However, we really lucked out by going for a late Sunday lunch and were treated to a good solo musician just wrapping up their brunch service. Believe it or not, our burger was one of the best in town - and I don't say that lightly! The fries were plentiful (too many, actually) and very good. Check out this hotel bar/restaurant for a nice, casual meal.

    Broken yolk sandwich with potatoes.

Fork Lore serves some excellent Southern-inspired cuisine that's let down slightly by its glacial service. I've been here twice now: once for breakfast and once for brunch. On the first occasion I tried their Broken Yolk sandwich with potatoes. The sandwich itself was a sublime example of an egg sandwich, with particular attention paid to the perfectly-cooked bacon. The potatoes were basically just steak fries which were good but needed some more seasoning. The second visit I tried their Pork Belly Club, which is basically a club sandwich with pork belly instead of bacon (yes I know bacon is pork belly but this was not smoked or cured and sliced much thicker). The pickled onions and Lusty Monk mustard did a lot of heavy lifting in cutting the richness of the sandwich, which is easily one of the best I've had anywhere in years. If I went on food alone, it would be pretty close to five stars but on both occasions the service, while pleasant, was extremely slow. Especially on the second visit during which the dining room was mostly empty, it took almost 45 minutes for our fairly uncomplicated order to reach our table. I'll definitely continue to come here, but I'll make sure I have plenty of extra time in my day when I do.

I was grateful to be able to get a seat at the bar, with a less than 10 minute wait. It is honestly worth it! The staff was warm and welcoming, even with tending to loads of customers (this is a true skill and art). The ambiance is upbeat and lively! Imagine a roadside breakfast parlor. I sat at the bar and it was good vibes! The hostess used to live in my hometown (who woulda thunk it) & I met the coolest guy from Boston, who has a golden doodle named Nugget back home. Good vibes all the way, which added to a special experience. He was flying back home after his meal. Now, onto the food (the part you all have been patiently waiting for). I ordered a hibiscus tea as my beverage (warm and refreshing). I also ordered the carrot cake hotcakes, a side of bacon, and a side of home fries. The carrot hotcakes were luscious! They came with hazelnut butter, and amazing syrup!!! These hotcakes were savory and filling! The bacon had an essence of hickory! A perfect medley between crispy and tender! The home fries were seasoned nicely and I doused them with ketchup and hot sauce! This was an iconic and memorable restaurant experience for me! This is coming from someone who has dined in restaurants around the world! Cheers!

It was elevated Southern cuisine, and we enjoyed it enough that we may go back before leaving the area. The restaurant has a comfortable feel -- upscale, but not stuffy. The service was excellent. The servers were personable and attentive without hovering. At one point, I accidentally dropped my napkin, and our server immediately brought me another one. Our water glasses were continually refilled, and our server checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. My partner and I liked so many things on the menu that we knew ordering soup, salad, an appetizer, and entrées would be too much. We told our server we were sharing, and for most of the courses, they divided the portions and brought them out on separate plates. That was another small touch that showed they were paying attention to detail. There wasn't anything we had that we wouldn't order again. We started with the seasonal soup, which was a tomato bisque, followed by the strawberry and feta salad. The country ham board was excellent and actually had me looking for Lusty Monk mustard the next day. For our main entrée, we shared the shrimp and grits, which was also delicious. Great food, thoughtful service, and a comfortable upscale atmosphere. This was the best meals we had in the area.
