I am looking for this cute mesh kimono I saw on a girl that said she purchased from forever 21. I went on a man hunt looking for this everywhere!!!! I called this store and spoke to Manuel. He was so amazing! I am taken back by his wonderful customer service skills, because let's face it I don't go to Forever 21 for the service because it's just not good. I told him how bad I wanted this and he looked in the history to see if it was sold recently and he said he will do everything in his power to try and find it! I've been on hold for over 20 minutes now and decided to vent on Yelp. I refuse to hang up. Management at F21 in Montebello really needs to step it up and not allow this. I am not sure if they don't do anything about it because of the age category or they just don't give a hoot! This is ridiculous! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A MUST! Without customer's, you won't have a revenue, which means, you won't have a job. If you don't want to lose your customers to other stores or other locations, I strongly suggest you either hire more employees, or Management, review what your employees are doing. read more

Dont this people ever pick up their phone?! I got double charged on a pencil skirt and i needed to know if i could go to any forever 21 or drive my self 40 min to just get my $10 back! Plus! How is it that a girl starts scanning my stuff then when i turn around she was gone and some guy ended up helping me...so thats how he ended up scanning the same skirts twice! First...if you are gonna have someone else take over excuse yourself from the customer....second...make sure you let the other person thats taking over for you know exactly what you scanned and what you didnt so people dont have to pay for the same skirt twice!!!! The customer service at the Montebello store was horrible. I bought a Christmas gift in November and decided to return it right before Christmas. I could not find my original receipt but had the gift receipt. I knew I would not get a refund but was going to exchange it. Once I selected my new items I explained to cashier what I wanted to do. She said no problem but when she returned the top I no longer wanted she said it was now on sale for $4.99 when I bought it for $14.90. I was told since I did not have original receipt they could only give me sale price. I proceeded by letting her know I had gift receipt to show how much I paid but was told I could only get sale price. So if I had given this top as gift and recipient decided to exchange it, she would only get sale price. Meaning that store is keeping $9.91 of top and only giving $4.99 when exchanging! They are ripping us off since person who is exchanging is not aware of price being paid for that gift. Forever 21 is keeping a huge chunk of our purchase and giving a tiny fraction when it is exchanged! I will no longer shop at a store that rips off it's customers and has horrible customer service. I was a store manager at a retail store and I never gave a customer a hard time even when they did not have a receipt. Stay away from this store!!!!!!!! read more

Forever 21 of Montebello, you better be happy that your visual presentation saved me from giving you a big fat 1 on yelp! I work at the Montebello Town Center at the Aldo store and I frequently visit the F21 on my lunches and breaks and when I feel like shopping..which is all day, everyday. The Forever 21 itself is amazing..with 2 stories of clothes, accessories..and shoes (even though i'd never buy shoes at forever because they are CHEAP and they HURT even just trying them on!) but yes. If you go in looking for black shorts, you will come out with jeans, a jacket, dress, accessories that you were not planning to buy. That's when you have time to shop. Now once I was in a rush to get some black skinnies, and tell me why none of the associates knew where to get them. Honestly?! NONE?! not even ONE of your 32891273512986320 employees know where I can just get some black skinny jeans and get the eff out?! anyway...if you're patient enough to walk around and look yourself..there's alot of cute things and you will walk out happy. If you don't have time, don't count on an associate to know where to lead you for whatever you're looking for. read more

I used to be an employee at the forever 21 at montebello mall, the cashiers are trained to sell sell sell to you and are also trained to take you to dressing rooms to get good points by the managers. The clothes are cute but poorly made. I wish they had more of a jewerly section like the one in Pasadena. Cute store and it is huge. The employee's sometimes bug with their fake smile and giving you their name if you need further assistances. It's cool the first time, no need for 10 times. The dressing room is cute but does not function as a dressing room. It has no place to sit and nowhere to hang the clothes. The only area to place the clothing is on the huge knob (whatever it is) or on top of the door which is super tacky. The music is too loud and too techno at times. I love techno but not when I am shopping nor as many times it is playing. It makes me anxious and experience shopping rage, LOL! They should visit H&M. My shopping experience is pleasant there regardless how crowded. They have nice set up and great music. Presentation is everything F21. Way too many people working on the floor and not on the registers or dressing rooms. A little adjustments may improve the customers shopping experience. read more

Dress marked $24.99. Red sticker marked $29.99. Cashier Kristy rang up my order. I asked her why a dress is marked less and why it is being rung up for more $29.99. She couldn't tell me. Paid and asked to speak to a manager because I wanted clarification. Zone Lead Sahara was very pleasant and professional. She scanned the dress and it returned for $17.90. So, now 3 different prices. Stated it was an error on Kristy's part. Well, that is when it went down hill. Kristy became defensive and not only did she disrespect me and my daughter, she even said Dumb B*t*h" to me in front of her own Zone Lead to hear. Lucky for my me, a customer in line witnessed the whole thing and emailed the District Manager. The worst customer service I have ever experienced in the retail industry. Kudos to Sahara and Nancy for being very professional and pleasant. They turned a very sour and bad experience into a good experience. I bought my daughter her dress and paid $24.99. read more
