The gentleman who assisted me was super nice & helped me get the proper shoe size with no problem. i was able to get myself the size 7 ( w ) which fit me perfectly! these are one of the cutest hello kitty pairs i have! the shoes also comes with a red pair of laces. i haven't bought myself converse especially high tops in so long im happy i got these! read more

This review is for Jesse! I live a bit far from this location and found out about a shirt that was on sale (that I was anxious to purchase immediately) which I was only able to find here. Unfortunately due to being a bit of a drive, I was concerned I wasn't able to make it to the location and the shirt would be completely sold out. My size was sold out online. I called the store and thanks to Jesse, he was able to walk me through it, informed me that my size was available in store and even asked his team if they can update the website to have the size that's available in store so I can have the choice to get it shipped out directly to me. Perfect addition to the mall. I love zumies and I will drop a couple of racks in there, but this place is icing on the cake. It's higher end, more of a boutique style of a shop with a more customized collection of clothing. I don't skate.... but best believe I'll be buying whole outfits at a time from this store. The staff is Chill as fuck, literally. If you don't like being pestered while you're shopping this is def the place for you. When you apply here, the only thing that qualifies you is if you have no personality! If you know how to smile. NO JOB! If you are a helpful worker! NO JOB!!!!!! The stuff in here is great. The skating stuff is great! But i've stood in here so many times and not one worker asked if a I needed help! I felt like red headed step child that no one wanted! You stand there, and the workers stand in the back flirting and giggling. The girls are just worried about being cute and trying to seem mysterious. The guys just seem like they really don't want to be there In the time I stood there, 4 different people asked me if I worked there and if I could help them! You get a sense of loneliness. When you're in there... you miss your family.. your friends. You feel the need for human contact. I once faked a massive heart attack in there just to get attention from the workers but they were to busy pretending to be folding shirts The workers MIGHT help you if your an attractive girl, maybe then they'll acknowledge you're alive. I literally waited 15 minutes in the shoes waiting for someone to help, then picked the shoe up, walked to the back where they were talking about nothing, and asked if they had the size I wanted. The guy looked and said "no" If you want great customer service, great friendly workers, a good time, a real sense of.. love.. please go to Boarders in the mall! They will totally pay attention to you and make you feel like the most important customer in the wholeeee wide world! :) Go to S.O.B down by the theater! It's better! Horrible customer service! Came today for an exchange with receipt and original tags on an item that was gifted to my son. Again we were seeking to exchange for a different jacket style and would have glady paid if there was a difference. We had the jacket that we wanted picked out and when we went to the register the manager stated he we could not return it. He stated there was a small stain on the bottom of the jacket. The jacket had never been worn before! Sorry, whoever bought the jacket didn't notice it had a stain. Obviously it was purchased at Borders in its condition. In his monotone, no energy voice he said try to return it to the store it was purchased from. Wow! You would have made a sale from it because the jacket we wanted to exchange it for cost more and we were looking to buy more items as we come to this store often. We will find another location where there is great customer service and employees with excitement. read more

My husband and I walked in on a thursday evening and it was completely empty. 2 guys and a girl were all behind the counter and didint even bother greeting us. We were looking to buy a longboard but nobody bothered to even offer help even though we were standing right in front of these people staring at all the longboards. Came in here to purchase a skateboard for my little brother. First time buyer so clearly I had no clue as to what is needed or what are the best parts for a skateboard. Thankfully the associate Jesse was there to help. He started from the gecko asked if i had a budget and helped me stay within and overall this was a great experience. To be honest, I never shop at BOARDERS or any other skate shop only because I don't have much swag as most people would call it nowadays, so finding gifts are hard to come by when I shop for family & friends, but BOARDERS is a whole different story when it comes to helping it's customers find that swag! Let me tell you something, around the holidays people are expected to be all happy and go-lucky...especially the associates of clothing stores, but they are never really all happy and joyful because they have to deal with all kinds of customers who don't have one clue of what to get for there family. My last minute xmas shopping here was the best experience I've had in a long time and that was only because of how every single staff member (literally) asked if I needed help finding a certain outfit and how each and every one of them gave me their honest opinion about certain sweaters & shirts and how I ended up with the swaggiest shirt of them all.
