okay, so while I still prefer the Old Town location for its larger accessories selection, I have to give MTB props because honestly, this location has the best service of any F21 in SoCal and trust, I've been to at least 40% of all the locations... which is a LOT. The staff here is always helpful (as much as they can be at least) and at the very least, willing to help, which is more than half the battle as a customer. Keep up the good work! read more

I came here to buy over $500 of costumes I needed. When I asked if they could hold my products while I still shop they were so rude then an hour later they said they can no longer hold them. I have been to many forever 21 for costumes and have always been treated so kindly with lots of help. They rip off other designers and throw a few bucks their way to shut them up, they don't treat their employees so great (so I read with the exception of Ms. Feli M a few reviews down, of course, and that's good and all), that sweatshop thing where workers get paid 12 cents a garment, customer service is wonky and at times rude, the chemical smell on the clothes gets stronger and stronger each time, and the volume they play the music at this store is just so...LOUD! I sound like an old man, I know. They make a good pair of jeans at a devilishly great price ($12) and great looking rhinestone necklaces (that fall apart a month later that I have to frankenstein back together) now and then, but otherwise, it ain't worth it for me. read more

This forever 21 stepped up its game.. There plus size collection is large and every one is super friendly. I love the shoe area! Its not just every where. The jewelry department is super large. I am amazed on the turn around this place did. I used to dread coming in and seeing clothes every where and the plus size area small little corner in the back and hidden from every one. 8 pm on a Friday and 2 registers open. I've been standing in line for more than 25 minutes and I've taken about two steps. A male associate was gossiping with another associate (sounded like personal topics) and then I realized he was the manager and was even more upset. I have worked for this company in the past so I know for a fact he was not busy. I'm not blaming the cashiers, I'm blaming the managers for poor scheduling and/ or the company forever 21 who is known to be a cheap company that doesn't give hours no matter how well the location is doing. I love how huge this place i I got good service from the cashier but I did notice she was talking a lot with her coworker while she ringed me up, she was still nice enough to put my jewelry in different bags so they wouldn't tangle tho but when I got home I noticed she had forgotten to remove the little security things which I think she would've noticed if she wasn't chatting but either way she was nice, although I did struggle so much to remove the alarm thingies without damaging the jewelry read more

I don't recommend buying at this FOREVER 21 store, the staff are not friendly . If you happen to return a merchandise they won't enterntain unless you tell them you will look for an exchange item.Worst, they won't give you cash credit but rather a "store credit" or some sort of gift card, that's so disappointing! this review is for *Yani* ? (spelling? yeni? yani?) i went in today to look for a hairclip i saw online for $2. i didnt want to buy it online because i didnt want a $2 hairclip to turn into a $15 item w shipping etc. i went in and was looking around and was approached by the associate to see if i needed help.. i asked Yani (?) if shes seen the item i was looking for, she told me it would probably be in the upstairs accessories section and kindly sent me on my way.. as i was browsing thru the store, she FOUND me in the store with the clips i was looking for. she had been unloading boxes and putting stuff away in the downstairs "home" section and she stopped what she was doing to find my clips. i was over the moon that she actually did that + that deserves recognition because i havent had an associate do that for me ANYWHERE in a really long time. i expect that kind of service somewhere high end like nordstrom or bloomingdales, but def not F21 and it was awesome to have felt so special. the ladies at this F21 location are def NOT very friendly and always have intense ass better then you attitudes, but Yani DEF did NOT have that. shes def there to do her job and please others. such a small gesture made my day, if shes like this everyday, im assuming, she deserves a promotion asap! read more

I love this place ! its big, there is a lot of variety and the customer service is great. They have different sections of different kinds of clothes, for example heritage 1981, twelve by twelve are all in different sections of the store so you know not to go to a section if you dont like the products it has. It's just way easier than having to search all over a store and not being able to find the things you like right away, and having to go through things you don't like is just annoying. Also, the girl at the register was really nice and chatty and who doesn't love people that are nice the first time you talk to them. read more

First off how dare Vee create bad reviews about Forever 21 like that. You must have gotten fired because they are the ones that gave you a check girl and you instigate something like that. I am also a previous worker at this exact store and yes we did add merchandise to the product but the compliments were nothing but true we wouldnt try to sell a lie. It was completely up to the customers if they desided to take our fashion sence or not. We didnt steal out of there wallet and make them take it. So shame on you. i asked the guy with the long blonde hair if they had these pink high waisted shorts, jean material, and he told me hes not sure but he will check for me. he comes back a couple mins later and says that they dont carry that item anymore. so i carried on with my shopping and i ended up finding the shorts myself and guess what, they were in the section he was working in ! i used to work in a forever 21 myself, and i know that when youre assign to a section you own that section which means youre suppose to know what items goes in that section and where they are located in that area, how are you going to do go backs if you arnt familiar with your section? i dont even know if he even looked for the shorts. oh wells. atleast i found it myself ! read more

Wow okay, so this is the universe's way of telling me to stop shopping at Forever21. I called the online center for a specific pair of pants that were a good style, I had the barcode number and a description. Call center tells me to go to this specific Forever21, since they had 4 in my size and a handful of other sizes. Great. I show up, and the people lamely pretending to fold clothes point out the obvious locations that I had already searched, and sort of look around a little, clearly just going through the motions. Then I'm told to go to the register with the barcode number because somehow, the barcode number will magically tell them where it is located. Of course, it doesn't, though it shows as "available" in the list. I then go on an epic quest by myself out of sheer stubbornness to find these pants, going through every single area and section of this unnecessarily large store. I am told, oh so helpfully, that "black pants sell out fast, it's like finding a needle in a haystack." It wasn't just one pair, it was a whole bunch in that style. They didn't up and walk out on their little stretch cottony legs, and it's not like a customer hid 15 pants under a pile of tanktops. It used to be my job to find lost and misshelved items--there is a pattern to the madness. A complete waste of my time, wasted further by incompetent and lazy staff. The employees here are rude. There was one guy who was really nice and helpful he's thin, black kinda spiky hair, not short nor tall in height;idk his name. Anyway I went in looking bummy didn't even bother filling in my eyebrows. I had to ask 2 different girls for help, both had a huge attitude and didn't even seem to care if they were being helpful or not. "What we have is what have" *does shoo fly hand gesture*. They almost made me feel like I didn't belong in the store. So finally I find some jeans and go try them on. While I'm in the dressing room I decided to fill in my brows and put on some lipstick and mascara. I walk out and well lo and behold all of a sudden employees start acknowledging me, including some that ignored me as I walked into the fitting room. I hate stores like that. read more

Huge upgrade for this Forever 21 location. When I'm going for a good shopping spree I drive out to this exact Forever 21. I'd give this store an overall thumbs up. The one con I'd say is I find most Forever 21 fitting rooms to be super dirty. I find it hard to place my items or to step bare on the floor because of the dust. The reason I give this store 2 stars now is because I recently went in to shop after I got off work (must I remind you I wear uniform for my job) so I know I didn't look my very best but I had just got paid and was super excited to buy things for a trip I'm going this month. The second I walked in, I felt like all eyes were on me. I've worked loss prevention so I know what it's like to "profile" people but there is a proper way to "watch" someone. At first I thought the employees were really nice and kept asking if I needed help but I soon came to realization they gave me no space while shopping. Finally I go and try things on at the fitting room, the employees that assisted me gave me the worst look and were strict with what I was trying on and when they were counting my items they pulled me to the side was they turned each item inside out as if I trying to hide items. I understand to an extend but note to self if you find someone "suspicious" I suggest the employees hire an actual LP team or kick rocks. read more

Nobody smiles here. Nobody greets you here. So many employees walking around on phones. Over 7 employees I saw and only one behind the register. This girl was charging an older Asian woman. She didn't smile siding converse. She showed impatience and rudeness. Two girls upstairs behind registers but send you downstairs where one person is. The only person behind the register and is answering phones while the line gets liner. So many options and clothing. Not one girl asked if I needed help. For a HUGE store an employee is a "fashionista" and should offer you outfit options or suggestions. This may sound cruel but when go to a place to shop for fashion I would expect the sales people to be a bit more presentable in their hygiene and appearance plus be more fashionable after all they are representing a fashion company. Sales sales sales. I would like to suggest that the clothing hangers be loosened up because it hard to see the clothing. I felt intimidated and bad when I pulled out a hanger and couldn't put it back because it was so tight. I would so frequent more if there was a true real assistance in fashion suggestions from the "fashionistas". I'm disappointed. Thigh they do have cute clothing and lots of options. I could NOT believe the amazing customer service I experienced here. I wanted to return a purse and exchange it at a Forever 21 that carried another purse I wanted...turns out, Montebello carried the purse. I made a few calls to other F21 stores and almost all of them either put me on hold for an ungodly amount of time, or dropped my call. I called this location, and the sales person was so nice! Even though I was on hold, they would pick up and just let me know that they're still looking for my item :) So sweet! Also, their store is huge, spacious, and most importantly, CLEAN!! If you guys weren't so far from me, I'd come to this location allllll the time. Thanks for a great experience. read more

This Forever21 has the most friendliest employees ever. I went in today looking for this romper I saw online and I guess I looked confused walking around because some girl came up to me and asked me if I needed help (& yeah I'm aware thats part of their job to ask) and I told her yes and I told her the the name of the item but she asked me for the code and I searched it up and she had to patient and some girls would show the frustration from having to wait but nope she just waited then she went and searched it up and it said there was 9 in stock so the journey began.... we searched everywhere over and over again. Then we went to the fitting to see if anyone had tried it on and left it there cus it didn't fit, but we ended up being accompanied by another employee and she was helping us look like CRAZY they went into the stock room searching and searching.. it pretty much went that way for about 30/40 (lol) it was fun tho. They joked around with me and just talked to me and it didn't even feel like small talk. I was a little upset that I didn't get to buy the romper I wanted but I left happy with a dress in the same color and some beautiful accessories. I hope everytime I go those girls are there. And the atmosphere between the workers seemed good, like everyone got along. I love this Forever21 and I think everyone should go. They have a huge variety of clothes, and the way the actual store looks is just so pretty! I love the business section, and the girly section. I also love the jewelry and sunnys! I wish I could buy them all.. I also wish the bras weren't so expensive. .I mean it's not Victoria's Secret but that's a little complain next to the good that Forever 21 brought me. read more

The staff here is wonderful; this is one of the biggest selections for Forever 21 around (I drive from Glendale IF I need another size or something) and the round trip is not fun (when I have four other "closer" Forever 21's). I always enjoy shopping here but fix your dang phones! I try and try to get through to six rings and a disconnect all the time. SO, one star off for customer service, as part of that service is picking up the phone and helping customers. Most frustrating. read more

Disappointed. As of today, 10/6/13, the second story is closed for remodeling. I did overhear an associate say that it should be open by Black Friday. I was able to find a couple of cute things but the customer service left much to be desired. At first I was amused that the cashier was commenting on a loofa I was buying to another cashier. But then I gawked at the nerve this guy had making it seem like my sole purpose for coming to the mall was to buy a damn loofa. It's soft, ok?! I wanted to try it out and for a buck, no harm no foul. He didn't even hand me my credit card back; I hope I snatched it off the counter with enough snottiness. Hmph! read more
