I came for some wallflowers, and there were so many choices to choose from. They weren't cheap ($7.50 each), but they had a sale of 5 for $25. My online order was ready for pick up plus the staff helped me select additional items that I needed. I recommend shopping online and picking up your order in person for two reasons: 1. It's faster and you can select items that are available for pick or chose items that are not in stock but can be shipped. 2. The inventory online is much more expansive and well organized. Visiting the store is a treat but there is so much to chose from that it is easy to feel overwhelmed. The store is well staffed and you are immediately greeted when you arrive and offered assistance. It's obvious why this location has a one star review. Their customer service is horrible. I came to the store before closing to take advantage of the $6 aromatherapy ... rushed here whew. I realized I left my 20% off coupon at home so I asked my mother to take a picture of it for me. She did. I went to the register, was helped by Andrea and when i showed her my coupon from my phone she said that they were unable to honor it because it was a screenshot. Hmmm. Ummm what's the issue?!?! There's a code on the back that has to be input with use and I'm assuming that if the code has already been used, the system would recognize it as such soooo what's the problem? Then Andrea says "I can ask my manager but that is our store policy." She headsets her manager then tells me something similar to, "my manager said no". I walk to the manager, Karina who says "if I let you use the code I get in trouble." What?!?! In trouble?!?? So forget service. Forget honoring your customer. Forget making your customer happy -- let's operate out of fear of corporate! That's a great plan *sarcasm*. She says coupons are only able to be used ONCE and that they have to rip them up afterwards. Excuse?!?! Soooo what about the online orders? Because What I don't understand is: the codes on the back of the coupon allow you to input them online and who is going to "rip them up" after you use them online?!?! An imaginary or virtual customer service rep?!?! Right!!! So what's the issue with me using the coupon in store??? The system should be able to show that the coupon has not yet been used!!! They were JUST issued!!! So then Karina keeps saying, "I'm sorry" and smiling. Ugh. How ridiculous. You say sorry but smile?!?! Really?!! Then she says "I can give you the free item that we are giving with the coupon but I just can't give you the 20% off" what?!?! So now you don't need a coupon present??? this is confusing!!! She says that she has the authorization to grant the free gift without coupons present but ummm you can't use my coupon that I'm showing you?!! Get it together Bath and Body works! I hate that this is now the closest store to me Bc if this is the service you all aspire to ... count a lost customer here!!! Better management needed. Better policy regarding coupons. Because I read the coupon print and it does not say that actual paper must be presented. Because if that were the case, they wouldn't be able to honor online couponing with this exact SAME coupon. Went here for store pickup because I assumed it would be fast and easy like most other places. Even though this concept is new to them, I really think they could've been more efficient. The store is small so they only let a couple of people in at a time and there was a line for that, but there was also another giant group of people just standing around and waiting for their pickup orders. There's a specific station for pickup and you check in, telling the person your name and your order number. However, instead of just grabbing the order belonging to each person that checks in we're just left waiting there while they have some random sort of system going on. They bring out a bunch of orders and leave them on the floor and one person is left with checking in while picking up random bags and calling out names. I stood there for 40 minutes until I noticed a bunch of people who came in after me get their orders so I went up and asked and low and behold, my order was there!! She just never called my name for some reason. I totally get this being a new concept for them, but I just think there's a much more efficient way than how they're doing it. I was able to find all of the items in store that I was shopping for online, which doesn't always happen due to the popularity or discontinuation of some of those items. During this time the store was also having awesome sales and I was able to get my favorite candles. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER RACIST STORE MANAGER AND ASSOCIATE. I was just doing some shopping with my wife before the holidays getting gifts for everyone because of the buy 3 get 2 free body care product so we got 10 bottles 6 full price and 4 for free. We realized after walking out the store that they charged us for 11 items, no problem I will just go back and get that fixed, easy right? NOPE, they kept telling me we got it wrong that the receipt only had 10 bottles when it clearly stated at the bottom of the receipt, "total items purchased = 11" which I pointed out. The person helping me "Grace" had no idea what she was doing so they called over the store manager "Vince or Vincent" that is what he told me not sure since his name tag was covered. The whole time they just kept trying to deny any fault when I wasn't trying to blame anybody I just wanted to get refunded for an item that was charged twice. Eventually Vincent got a bit upset kept stating he knows exactly what he's doing and kept trying to shift the blame on us that we did something wrong, he eventually lashed out and said, "excuse me i don't speak..." everyone around me including the workers there was shocked, honestly I don't know how to interpret what he said in any other way because we were all speaking English. If you had the balls to say that finish the sentence Vince or Vincent. That was not all smh right after that "Grace" started to speak to us condescendingly showing us 3 fingers on one hand and 2 on the other saying 3 + 2 is 5, i want to say i am an Asian American born and raised here I speak perfect English with no accents and if you were going to be racist against Asians you should know your stereotypes dear, we are good at math. Anyways i am old and have seen and been through racism all my life never expected it at retail store in the mall in the year 2019 i thought those days were over already... i guess not. I didn't bother to argue or yell at anyone i just left silently as any civilized person would do. I was approached by an employee and they said if I sign up for the BBW app I would get 20% off with my purchase that day so okay I'm making my account before I get in line and an employee Jessica said she can help us at the register and I had told her I was making my account still, but she still said she would help me at a certain register. Keep in mind nobody else was in line the store was completely dead. She was giving off a horrible vibe, I was feeling rushed. She was tapping her nails on the counter, giving attitude as I was about to pay. I was paying card and cash, her tone of voice was rude. I went in yesterday with a cheap item that was about $5 or so that gave no scent when I used it, and I simply wanted to exchange it for one that worked. Since I bought it a while ago, I couldn't find the receipt, but the store associate wouldn't let me exchange it because she scanned it and it was from last season and the current selling price was discounted. Give me a break! The item is originally $5 and I wanted to exchange it for the SAME exact item. It's not like I'm trying to scam you with a huge return. On top of that, it's your company's policy for product for product exchange. I wouldn't be returning it IF IT WORKED! All I want is an item that WORKS! Thumbs down. I haven't been to this location in a few months and I'm so glad I came back! The new store looks amazing and the customer service was great! A girl Crista greeted me when I got into the store and gave me run down of promotions. She even told me about the new store and how they have a whole store of candles on the other side (yes I said a WHOLE store!). She helped me find a new lotion and body set for my self and one for gift I was buying. It was buy 3 & I got 3 for free!!! As you walk by you are immediately captivated by the amazing smell from the store. It's like your in scent heaven. Upon entering the store you are greeted in a very friendly manner. The employees here are a great help and overall outstanding customer service. They just remodeled and expanded the store. I always stop by and purchase a few candles when they are on sale.
