I've visited Aura Vital more than a handful of times and it doesn't fail that I leave with a sense of peace. Ms. C is an honest, kind and spiritual woman who wants to make sure you're at ease in every way. I love the candles she recommends me as well as her beautiful demeanor when she communicates with me. Ms. C is a superstar in every way! Everyone in this gem is polite and welcoming. I highly recommend it. read more

I love Aura Vital so much and wholeheartedly trust the guidance of the employees here. As soon as you walk in, you can physically feel the peaceful energy of this store. It's a serenity I've literally only felt here and the workers are insightful, helpful and genuine. I used to come regularly but then I moved out of state five years ago. I was in town for an extended period recently and really needed some spiritual healing, so I made sure to come by. I got two candles, with one being prepared. A prepared candle (cost me $15) will yield stronger results since it's meant to help you achieve a particular goal. The folks here may give you instructions like writing your name, ambition, the name of a loved one, etc before they prepare it for you and then they bring it out. Previously, I've been given other instructions like which candle to light first if I buy several, to shower before lighting them or how to dispose of them properly once they're done. What I especially have always loved about Aura Vital is that they read you your candle once it's finished. Mine took five days to completely finish so I took photos and videos of them at their end and returned so they could interpret them. This offers extra insight to my journey and they've never been wrong here. read more

The lady who operates the cash register is very knowledgeable about various scents and the different types of incense. The shop smells very good; I believe she was lighting patchouli. There is also a shelf with books and Tarot decks on sale. The incense sticks are economical and smell very well. read more

The owner is wise, kind and humble which makes the reading and her advice genuine. She makes you feel protected

GREAT store, you feel at peace as soon as you walk in. The staff is super helpful (I've been there Saturday and it can get busy), I've now chose to go there every Tuesday - this is my new normal. I'm new to this and Cris has been amazing with her Candle advise and her talks..... The candles I've purchased have really help my "Spiritual Side" and working with some Love Matters too - they will bless and dress your candles as well. Yesterday I purchased an adorable Pink Quatz bracelet and they cleanse it for me. This store has all you need. I'm praying that Cris has an opening soon for a reading, she's amazing. read more

I've been going here since I was a teenager, and even though I don't go as often as I used to the owners always recognize and remember me, they are so nice! Everyone there is so sweet and when you walk in the doors you just get a good feeling. I love this place! I mostly go for incense and oils which is why it shocks me that they always recognize me. This place is one of Montebello's gems. I hope it stands for generations. I would also like to see them create a website so I can order supplies from them online. I haven't been able to find their website if they do have one. read more

One of So Cal's best spots to get mystic items for your spirit. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and intuitive, always want to create light and positivity. They always have the basics in stock- candles, Palo Santo, sage, etc. They also have a good selection of jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, etc) There is so much more, just call or pop in and ask. Awesome store!! I'm surprised I just found this place and I've lived in the area all my life! The employees are friendly and helpful and the environment is inviting. Also, I was surprised by the size and prices of the selection. I did not expect all the neat stuff they sell. The only problem is the main website is very hard to navigate (the online store is ok), but they do have a twitter and facebook so I'll be using that for updates. My first time visiting the storewas a blast!! Great store & friendly staff. I usually have to order on line or go to Alexandira II /Panpipes/Psychic Eye etc, which are all out of my way since I live in East Los Angeles. The staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Some products may seem a bit pricey, but compared to other stores I've been to their prices are moderate in my opinion. If there is anything you need, that they dont carry, just ask & they are more than willing to find it for you or order it!! The atmosphere/vibe is great. read more
