This is going to be the most painful and humiliating review I will ever write but if I can help save one person from making the same mistakes that I made, then it will be worth the humiliation. Had I known about the reviews on her original location (San Marino) and read the honest reviews out there, I would have never considered seeing Kate and making all the mistakes ahead of me that other reviewers had warned about. My experience with her also seems to correlate with the one star reviews for the "Pasadena Psychic" as well. I don't even see a display of any kind of professional certification at her office. Anyhow, after my painfully regretful experience, I wanted to make sure no one falls for the same foot trap that I and many others did. My thoughts, feelings and experience could not have been better and more accurately described than by the first reviewer of the San Marino location. She was definitely precise and straight to the point. First off, after reevaluating everything that I had been through with her, I have come up to the obvious conclusion that there is only one thing Kate truly cares about--your money. If you are unlucky to have the tarot card with the sword through the hearts show up, you are out of luck. She will use that and other cards to your disadvantage and find any chance to say you have a lot of negative energy which needs to be cleansed. Like the first reviewer said at the San Marino location said, she will ask for an astronomical amount of money, if she knows you have the means, so that she can help you get "rid" of the negative energy. Would $10,000 be asking for a lot of money? I definitely thought so! I almost had a heart attack and was like "WTH?!" But what do I know about "Investing" in myself as she had persuasively convinced me? I thought it was an absurdly ridiculous amount but since I was so suddenly thrown and caught off guard, I didn't know what to really make of that request and stupidly negotiated with her if $5000 would work. She brushed me off and asked if I can afford $10,000. I told her that is all my savings over the past 10 years and I was planning on spending that money to put my child to school or babysitting. She said for this amount, she will take care of "everything" from "stopping" my negative energy to providing as many counseling sessions as it takes to resolve my problems. So I thought, ok maybe it would be worth the money if you got help on spiritual issues in your life and everything will get better and she claims she has the "power" to work miracles and take away all the negative energy that is going to "ruin" my life. I figure if I see her several times a month for a few months then yeah, maybe it will be worth it and I will have to work much harder to resave for my child. Anyhow, it was about two weeks before she called me back for a second visit, where she says the negative energy is coming back and she needs more money so she can put a "stop" to it altogether. I was like, are you serious? That's what I thought I had paid that enormous amount of money to do. But she replied that this time should be the last time she asks for any money and it will cover "all visits necessary" to resolve my problems. Again, she asked how much I can dish out for her to make it all happen. I know she was not gonna accept $100 so stupid me offered her $1000. She wasn't ok until I stopped at $5000. So by now, anyone can see what a total idiot I was to even reconsider throwing away any more money to have this lady do her "work" for me. So secondly, unless you are planning on making this a one time trip, it would be a terrible mistake to go alone. Especially, when the mom is also there to tag team and make you feel like you need to get help right away. They will try to make everything confidential so you would feel guilty if you discussed these private matters to anyone. Well after three visits, her mom came in to tag team with her and told me a lot of damage had been done and they need more money to put a "complete stop" to it. The only time she ever called me after my last visit was to see if I was ready to pay her MORE money to do her "work". I was like, I have no more money, feeling beyond stupid that I just donated $15,000 and only saw her 4 times and my outcome? Nothing has changed. I am still the same person even though she claimed to do her "works" and put a "stop" to things and threatened that things are only going to get worse if I don't. When I said I have no more money, she never called me back to have another session. All the visits she said that were "included" in the $15,000 price was a big fat joke (=$3750/visit)! This was the mostly costly mistake I have ever made in my life. Please don't do what I did and go alone. You would be better off if you paid a real counselor $100/hour for 100 sessions which could benefit you for many years. read more
