A prepared candle (cost me $15) will yield stronger results since it's meant to help you achieve a particular goal. The folks here may give you instructions like writing your name, ambition, the name of a loved one, etc before they prepare it for you and then they bring it out. Previously, I've been given other instructions like which candle to light first if I buy several, to shower before lighting them or how to dispose of them properly once they're done. It has been a few days since my reading with Madame Pamita, and somehow I am even more impressed…read morenow than I was immediately afterward. This was my first reading, and I came into it nervous and unsure of what to expect. Madame Pamita was extraordinarily warm, gentle, and thoughtful. I never felt judged, frightened, or pressured. I left feeling that it had been a beautiful experience. But over the next few days, as I reflected on the reading, some of what she told me became genuinely uncanny. Madame Pamita saw beyond the version of myself that I tend to present to the world. She described specific things about how my mind works and how I move through the world that I had not explained to her. These are not things people generally conclude about me when they first meet me. They usually require knowing me quite well. One observation in particular stayed with me. At the time, I didn't think it was especially accurate because the language she used was completely different from the way I understand and describe myself. After sitting with it, however, I realized that she had identified the same underlying pattern I recognize in myself, but from an entirely different perspective. In fact, her description gave me a new way of understanding something about myself that I already knew but had never quite seen in that way before. That was the moment the reading became more than simply a beautiful experience for me. It was startling to realize that someone who had never met me before had recognized something so fundamental about the way I think, particularly something that is not immediately apparent to other people.
