Overall an amazing place! No wait time on a Wednesday night and the service was amazing. Our server Jim was excellent, he was very attentive, funny, and kind! The food was yummy as well. I got the Thai salad, the toppings were delicious, but the sauce was a little too much. My dad got the burger which he claimed to be scrumptious, but the sweet potato tater tots were my absolute favorite! The tots melted in your mouth and paired amazingly with ranch, but the Carmel sauce they provided didn't complement the tots. This was our first time here and was not impressed with the food at all. I had the burnt ends which to me was not very well prepared. It tasted more like a pot roast sandwich drowned with some ordinary bbq sauce. And to boot it came out barely luke warm. Now my wife got the chicken Henry said it was ok but like an hour later she has a bad upset stomach and is now married to the toilet. May try again down the road but no time soon. FORD definitely stands for "found on the road dead" as this place is the worst. if you like, bad service, loud atmosphere, and food that does not live up to the menu's description then FORD is for you. The managers cant even problem solve. The server, Emily asked us over and over if we wanted anything but offered no explanation for the food taking 90 minutes to arrive and when it was brought out it was wrong. After she argued about what we ordered the 2 burgers (nothing complicated) were taken back to the kitchen and within 3 minutes another person brought the same wrong order back out to us. A work group of eight decided to meet at Ford's for some drinks and food after work. Two of them arrived early and sat at the bar waiting for the rest of us to arrive. They had wings and a couple beers. I showed up next and since the bar was too full to sit, they closed out their bill and asked the bartender if it was okay to move out to the patio because we had other guests coming. I was asked if I wanted a drink, but declined knowing we were moving to the patio and would order out there. The bartender told us that was no problem, the tab was paid an we moved outside (did not tell us to see a hostess for the patio). It was pouring rain and blowing, so the patio only had one couple with their dog. We took a table out of the 30 empty spots near to the couple with the dog. I asked a server walking by for a menu and she just nodded and kept walking (did not tell us to see a hostess). We asked if the shade over the open patio side entrance could be pulled down a little bit to block the blowing rain, but the male employee standing by the door told us no, it would be a fire hazard (did not ask us to see a hostess). I cleared some dirty dishes off a table beside us and moved two tables together (nobody asked us to see a hostess). After about 10 minutes, the rest of the party arrived, but we had still never been acknowledged by any staff so I went to the bar and ordered a drink. Other members of the party did the same when no server ever came to the table. Then a server brought a tray of food to our table by mistake and we directed her to the couple beside us (did not ask us to see a hostess). After about another 30 minutes a server finally came to the table, not to take any orders, but to inform us we weren't supposed to be there. Those tables were not open seating. I asked what should we do, send someone to the hostess to register, leave, what did they want us to do? Her answer was "I don't know, would you like me to get a manager?" I answer yes, since we would like to know how to resolve the situation. Reminder...there were still no other customers in this area of 28 empty, wet, windy tables. Just the dog owners. No manager came out, but another more senior server did. She explained the situation the same as the first server and asked if we wanted to speak to the general manager, but she wasn't as nice as her so she didn't recommend it. We answered yes since we still hadn't been told what to do. The manager then came out with an ipad to explain how the seating works, but it looked like they could accommodate us so we would not have to leave. My issue is not with the servers. It's with the manager that sent them out to us with no direction on what we needed to do. It's not a servers job to resolve conflict. The manager should have been the person to address the issue. This entire thing should have been resolved in a couple of minutes with no drama. read more

Food: Fresh, flavorful, not the walked away thinking that this was a little different then the typical food service delivery companies product with a kitchen spin. Someone in the kitchen clearly takes pride in their creations. Service: Top notch on this experience. Ambiance: Good vibe and not overtly loud. Multigenerational crowd. As a travel agent/tour guide/scuba instructor for @ProScubaCoach I am always on the hunt for not just good places to take my guests to but to be able to provide them with an Experience. So at 5:15 on a Saturday with mild overcast skies and a a warm 88 degrees with 1000% humidity I found myself driving by Ford's Garage and decided to stop since I could easily see by the completely full parking lot and several groups sitting around on the outside that the excitement of another new restaurant has not worn off yet. As a party of one I figured this would be a good time to do a review. The hostess at the door greeted me instantly in a friendly fashion. I found the only empty seat remaking at the bar. Otherwise it would have been a 40+min wait. Here I was greeted by Marcey rocking the classic fifties look. The beverage experience: Unfortunately my first beverage choice, a Root Beer, was unavailable due to high demand so I was served up a classic Cherry Coke. The first unique feature encountered was the iced slab at the bar where your drinks sit and stay frosty. This coupled with the attention of Marcey, my drink was always full and cold. Will, the master mixologist was constantly serving up drinks of all concoctions as there is a diverse ecosystem of alcohols available. Making the process smooth was Javon keeping everything stocked and clean. This team was hustling. Again, the restaurant was packed, full house. The appetizers: After taking some time to review the menu a bit I felt obligated to compare apples to apples or on this case chili to chili and nachos to nachos. There are two other restaurants less than a half mile from here that also offer those options so I wanted to compare. Time order was taken: 5:45. Time appetizers were delivered at 6:04. The first to try was the Chili. For the price I would think there would be a larger portion size. 11 regular spoon sized bites and it was devoured. It is better than any of the other chilis in the area. Perfect meat to bean to sauce ratio with the right amount of toppings. The Nachos come with Chicken or Pulled Pork as an option. The VALUE is here for this option. Corn chips topped with a sweet bar-b-que sauce over pulled pork, pico, and beer cheese were definitely a good choice. The main course: This is not just your run of the mill burger joint. Although they are renowned for them and that is a draw there were many other options available. Take a peak at their menu photos included. After a long day though a classic burger and coke sounded good. The niche here is that burger options are named after some of the local community leaders. I opted for the Bison Burger with fries. 30 min wait time. The desert: Hard to pick just one but at that point I decided I would be coming back so plenty of opportunity to experience others. I chose the Carmel Brownie that is served with Tilimok vanilla ice cream and pecans. 12 min wait time. read more

Just left at 4 PM this June 28th and I am going to say things management and other patrons. We had just purchased 2 gift cards for Ford's garage since we had not been there since early March and the food and service where excellent. To our dismay we had a terrible experience. Upon arrival there was only one person at the hostess station so we had to wait as she was also selling merchandise to another group. Once another person came she sat us by the kitchen and bathroom entrances passing several empty 2 person booths. We asked to be seated elsewhere and she showed hesitation. We ordered Henry chicken, pulled pork mac n cheese along with onion rings. The rings were greasy and cold. The chicken was dry and over cooked. The sun dry tomatoes and basil were wilted dry and chewy as if the plate had sat under a heat lamp for to long. The pulled pork on the mac n cheese was dry and the serving size was just about two table spoon full. We told the server and he took the chicken plate and asking if we wanted anything else. We declined, but as we sat at our table we could overhear the conversations at the bar and other tables also complaining about the quality of the food and service. It's a shame how the quality of the food has gone down and it is as if management does not care. We never had anyone other than our server ask us about the food. Even after we sent the chicken back did we see management, we weren't even told if it was going to be taken of the final bill. Upon receiving the bill we noticed the charge was still there. I gave the server a $50.00 gift card and never received the card back or asked if we wanted the change back. So we just left. By far this was the worst experience we've had at this location of Ford's garage. Management never stopped once at our table or any other table. In addition to the issue with the food, the men's bathroom smelled of raw sewage trash can was full and bathroom dirty. Again this was the worst Ford's garage location we have visited. It's a shame the standard that we enjoyed when it first opened are no more. It was truly a waist of money and time. read more

Four of us visited on a Wed., at 12N. It was so busy but a booth was open for us. Our server, Jodi, was so patient while we tried to decide on our meals. The menu reads like a book! Onions rings for an appetizer were perfect. Crunchy, hot & not greasy. The two dipping sauces were also good. Plenty for four people. My veggie burger was delicious! Char-broiled, with tomatoes, lettuce & an avocado spread. It came with fries, cooked just right too. The strawberry shake was outstanding! Rich & creamy, great flavor. The others ordered burgers, all were very satisfied with them. Burgers were cooked to each one's request. Jodi was fantastic; very personable & knew the menu. Interior is so cool. Too much to mention here! Go check this place out. You won't regret it. Prices were reasonable for today's times. A little cheaper than most other restaurants I've been to recently. My daughter has epilepsy and a service dog that medically alerts her to get on the ground if a seizure is about to happen. After a hard day discussing brain surgery at the Mayo Clinic, I decided to lighten the mood and treat my daughter to a dinner out at place we've never been, a rare treat as we rarely eat out with our medical bills. When we arrived at Ford's Garage, the blonde, male host told us that we would be the only table seated outside in the cold wind because of the dog. I explained that's not how ADA works and asked for a quiet table indoors. In a nearly empty restaurant, we were seated in an aisle table, next to the bar, in front of the hallway to the restroom, perhaps the highest traffic area of the restaurant. The dog is trained to handle that volume of stress. My daughter isn't. After the aggressive humiliation, she broke down in tears and we left. Get the Estate Burger! It is incredible. The pretzel appetizer was burnt and wasn't good I don't recommend. The key like pie was tasty! Service isn't great but it's the food that shines. We told the hostess we had a birthday and she said she would tell the server. We watched several tables have the birthday celebrations with singing and clapping. They never came over to ours. Obviously I didn't want to say something to the server in front of my husband whose birthday we were celebrating, it was supposed to be a surprise. Then on the way out the same hostess said how was the birthday and I said "they never came over to sing" to which she replied "oh that's a bummer". I thought that was an interesting response. Today was my third visit to Ford's Garage and the second time I ordered the meatloaf. Obviously I enjoyed the meatloaf on my second visit, and the broccoli that accompanied it was well seasoned. Today I waited almost an hour for my food. When the server finally appeared with my order, she warned me the plate was hot. Well, the plate was hot but the food was not. The broccoli was bland. The green beans were chewy, If the meatloaf had been room temperature or warmer, it would have salvaged the meal. I was sitting at the bar, unfortunately in front of a dish or glass washing area. And as soon as my food was served, some clean glasses or dishes were urgently needed, because someone vigorously attacked that task just a couple of feet from in front of me. This was not an enjoyable dining experience, especially since the meal took more than twice as long as I had planned. After today's experience, I don't plan to be a regular patron. read more

Amazing atmosphere! My favorite thing was the sweet potato tater tots, served with caramel sauce. Ivan re-created that side at home. The burger was OK I thought it was odd that it didn't come with any sauce on it. I feel like sauce is as important as the vegetables on a burger to make it feel well rounded. I could've ordered sauce on the side, but they were very busy and didn't wanna make a fuss about it. I will go here again, but probably not for burger considering there are plenty of places with better burgers around town. Next time I'll try something new. read more

We checked in at Ford's Garage Viera at 7:04pm Wed. We were told there was a 30 minute wait. There were tables empty, but we waited. We were seated at approximately 7:40pm. We ordered their fish and chips. When the order eventually came, the very, very small order of fries were soaked in grease and buried under the one long piece of fish. Their fish barely had a flavor except for the grease. There was more batter than fish. The hot meal was not. We have been there three times and we have had to wait each time and meal took a long time to be served. It's not worth waiting that long for a meal. We won't be going back. read more
