We decided to have a small snack at this place called "FORCHETTABOUDDIT " When we came we saw people come and go with Large Boxes of Pizza to go. We tried a couple of their foods: * CAPRESE - its a Sub with Prosciutto di Parma , fresh mozzarella, and tomato Basil . * COBBLE HILL - Pizza with Chicken, pesto , garlic , parmigiano . * TIRAMISU *STRATTECCI - Its like a Funnel cake Everything tasted good, the only complaint I had was that something went wrong with our order at the kitchen, so it took a while for our Pizza to be in our Table. But it does not discourage us to not come back 'coz the CHEF came out personally to apologize for what happened and offered that he could cook something else for us because of what had happened. We said it's okay we understand, 'coz we heard from other tables that they had the same problem. The place was just really busy and they probably had a lot of to-go orders, 'coz when the Chef came out to apologize to us he seems like he is catching his breath from being busy in the kitchen. This place is good for Dine-in or to-go. Love the mother restaurant to Forchettabouddit so was very excited to try this place. It's a casual but delish place to get Italian food. I have yet to dine in but whenever we get take out the staff is very helpful and makes good recommendations depending on our mood/needs. The highlight of the menu though is the tiramisu. My husband and I had leftovers. Fresh, quality ingredients, and an amazing crust. Loved it will be definitely be going back! The Eggplant Parmesan was terrible! The sauce tasted like it was canned, no Italian flavor at all. My "bowl" of eggplant had six small slices of eggplant...really...eggplant is cheap! They don't give you garlic bread with your meal, really odd. You have to buy it separately for $6.00, and the "bowl" of eggplant was $22.00...total $28.00 for something worth maybe $10.00...very expensive for what they give you. The garlic bread was cut off pieces/sides of pizza crust rolled up with absolutely no garlic flavor at all! VERY VERY disappointing! This is not Italian food to me. I don't mind paying for good food, but this is ridiculous honestly! The pizza may be good, but be wary of the dishes...a few other people wrote about the same issues. The music is way too loud! The bottom line is the food is not good and way overpriced for what they serve. I had to double-check to make sure we were in the right place after some of the good reviews. The waiter with the curly hair basically threw the bill on the table after I told to him food wasn't good...why even ask? The menu has a little more than pizza including some salad and one soup and sandwiches. We enjoyed a slice of cheese, traditional go to pepperoni and a Hawaiian that has hot honey. All were pleasant. what a mistake for a first date! I read reviews and thought this would be a great way to start a new relationship since we both love Italian food. Not only was it over priced and small portion, it lacked flavor and ambiance. $22 for five slices of boiled egg plant covered with some kind of cheap (I believe canned) sauce. It was supposed to be bake Eggplant Parmesan so where was the mozzarella cheese and why wasn't it hot. Don't forget to add an order of $6 leftover pizza dough that they called "Garlic Bread". All the food lacked flavor and it wasn't any way traditional Italian! Ma Vallino probably turned over in her grave knowing that I was eating such pricey crap food. Don't forget to add a $12 glass of cheap Bevmo wine to drink while you listen to blasting rap music. This is the best Italian restaurant. So authentic. It's a small restaurant and their food is amazing. They pile the bruschetta high with delicious marinated tomatoes on freshly made, crispy IItalian bread and creamy Italian cheese. Their pizza is a star. We had the eggplant parmesan pizza with smoked mozzarella- the crust was puffy with the perfect crispy bake. Our server was Izzy who is super helpful. I know we'll be back soon. The only feedback I have is that I wish the basil was shredded up and distributed throughout a little more. I just got two big hunks of basil that both came out in one bite. What an outstanding experience a long-time friend of mine and I had, by every definition, at this restaurant for an early Saturday dinner May 17, 2025. Joele and Giorgia (new owners) could not have been more hospitable and enjoyable in their delightful customer service as were the other staff. The food was delicious, and offered a wide variety. And we could actually have conversations that allowed us to comfortably hear each other even when the dining room filled. Treat yourself to experiencing all of this as soon as you can. If you were there before the ownership changed, go back now!!! I can hardly wait to get back there again. Like a Phoenix, rising up out of the ashes, this place has been resurrected thanks to the oversight of one of the core team members from the Buona Forchetta empire. The pizza crust is back to looking, and tasting, like a New York pie. And the pastas continue to punch above their weight class, especially the gnocchi and ravioli. I went three times so I could gauge the consistency and, to be honest, it was lacking. I was just as likely to get an over-charred crust as I was one that was cooked perfectly. This is a nice off-shoot of the fancy Buena Forchetta. The food is great, but has a less fancy atmosphere. You can come here for a nice casual meal. There aren't servers, you order at the counter and they bring it to you, so a nice change up. I had the sausage sandwich which was delicious.
