Update on review of Aug 5th. In interim between install and repair, a piece of trim came off and…read morewas blown from balcony in wind. The Pella repair man came today (Aug 20th) to finish install and replace missing trim. He cleaned up a lot of the dirty prints left behind on trim and in caulk on install, but did not have correct trim to replace trim that fell off. Wish he would have been here to guide the installers. They evidently are not experienced enough to work independently and could use supervision. The trim that fell off was not the correct trim for exterior. With trim missing between balcony door and transom over the door, it shows that the gap between is about 1/8" on outer edges and widens in middle to greater than 1/4" wide, then narrows to about 1/8" on other side. Gave me a clue as to why the trim fell off. I would conclude that lower door frame was not shimmed properly to be set level. It will likely be a few more weeks before correct trim piece can be ordered and the repair completed. Other residents in the condo community have been asking, and based on my experience, I cannot reccommend Pella.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. This was to confirm my appointment on the 21st of November, as well as the ETA window for their installation team, which was 0830-1130. On the day of installation, the installation team arrived at 08:21. The Team Lead (Ahwner) introduced himself, and we walked to the windows that were to be replaced. He explained that before beginning the installation, he would need to confirm the measurement for accuracy. Once he completed the remeasurements, he advised me that they would start the installation. Including the TL (Ahwner), there were four members on this install team. They quickly began setting up their work areas. They placed tarps over my laminate floors, entryways, furniture, and even the grass outside. This was to ensure that no debris or loose materials would be left behind. All the work was completed by 09:43. Upon completion, the TL asked me to walk the project with him to confirm my satisfaction. He asked if I had any questions about the completed project, then asked me to sign the order of completion sheet. Part of this process included a link/QR code to scan for the final balance payment. There was an issue with the QR code, so he suggested I call their customer service for assistance. Once on the phone with their customer service, they provided an email link that I used to resolve the remaining balance. What can be said that hasn't already been said? Overall, I am delighted with Window Nation's service. Their quality workmanship, customer service, and follow-up in addressing any questions or concerns I may have had throughout this process.

The new owners (Sam's children) seem to be just as qualified, caring, friendly, and eager to support customers. I can only guess they have the same ethic, and would highly recommend the company. He brought samples, answered all our questions, and was very respectful of our time. He provided a demonstration of the windows and allowed me to look at the door options on his tablet. I was able to make changes to colors, glass design, etc. At the end of our appointment, we were still unsure about some things, so he offered to come back again. He even provided us with a list of sales tactics to look out for if we decided to have other estimates (which we did, and the list was very helpful). Nick was extremely responsive to emails with all the questions that we had. I was very indecisive so he came back to our house two more times so that we could review the designs of the doors again and make changes. He was very patient. There were no slimy sales tactics, and I am incredibly appreciative of that. Once we chose our options, signed the contract, and Mody came to take final measurements, it took approximately 6 weeks for the windows and doors to come in. Nick told us this ahead of time, so we expected 6-8 weeks. Mody arrived with his team of Paul and Armenis. They worked so efficiently and effectively together. I've never seen such a cohesive team work so hard. We were told that the entire job of 18 windows, 1 slider, and 1 front door with 2 side panels and storm door would take 3 days. Because of their efficiency they completed the entire job within 2 days. On the second day of installation the owner of the company, Emma, came out to take pictures of the job. She was incredibly professional but also personable. Two days after installation we noticed that one of the windows had a small crack in the corner. Emma personally came out the very next day to take pictures and have a new sash ordered. She even brought a gift to thank us for choosing her company. I was really blown away by that gesture. We had such a wonderful experience with Clearview and all the employees that we encountered along the way. Our windows are energy efficient and look great. Our front door is gorgeous and gave our home a whole new look. I couldn't be happier with our purchase.
