I called for a window repair. They were able to fix it the same day. The technician was friendly and fast. The price was affordable. They are now my go to window people. read more

Hodges Window & Glass is the company to go to for your glass needs! From the start, they provided a great quote, excellent customer service, and were extremely communicative with regards to the custom glass we wanted and the delivery. The delivery itself was more challenging than expected, and both 10-feet sheets of glass needed to be taken up 4 flights of stairs as opposed to the elevator. The Hodges team (Bob, Matt, and John) assessed the situation right away, figured out a plan, and was extremely careful and cautious while handling the glass through the stairwell. Once in the desired space, they cleaned up the glass and carefully put it in place. What impressed me most was their attention to detail and commitment to delivering outstanding results. They worked tirelessly to ensure the glass was delivered safely and carefully, and truly exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend Hodges Window & Glass to anyone in need of high-quality glass products and exceptional service. They are the best in the business! read more

Hodges Window & Glass - Windows Installation Near Me - Baltimore, Maryland

I had a very good experience with this company. From start to finish everyone was nice and clear in explanation of a job and pricing, everything was done in timely manner, very professional, and they offered a reasonable price for the job. The technician named Ever was very helpful even to wash the windows from the exterior side, which would be a difficult task for me as an elderly person. I am very grateful to the company and Ever for making my long lasting problem with the windows gone. read more

I needed glass shelves and a custom shower door. The person that we talked to understood what we needed (ADA door) really knew her stuff. She asked all the right questions and was able to answer ours. We also got a quote (estimate) right on the spot. For comparison we had gone to another glass place before where we talked to someone who seemed to be baffled by what we were asking for. It also took a week to get an estimate. I also needed some small custom pieces for another project. Hodges was ready for the challenge where the other place only had excuses why they couldn't make the pieces. read more

We used Hodges for glass replacement on. Underpins windows throughout our home. I was able to easily schedule an appointment for an estimate. We received a quote we felt was fair and decided to move forward. The windows in our home have "wavy" glass and this is something they were able to order and put in. Our tech was also able to fix a weight in one of our windows that was not working properly. The process itself the day of the job was pretty seamless. Each individual piece of glass was removed and the new piece was applied. We were given instruction regarding how to care for the glass while it was setting and when we could clean the glass. We also learned about ways to maintain the windows since they are original to keep their quality in place. I'd recommend Hodges for glass work. We were lucky to find this company and I would personally use again as well. read more

Amazing service. Honest folks and fair prices. Sent me a video on how to take my windows out so I could bring it to them for repair.

I am very pleased with the customer service, and the quality and speed of the work done by Hodges. I needed two window panes replaced in two different interior doors, including a large single pane in a hundred-year-old historic wooden door that I definitely wanted to preserve. I worked with Erin in the office by email and phone to get a preliminary estimate range, and later to schedule time for technicians to come out and do exact measurements and give precise quote. The two technicians, Carmelo and Javier, were timely, courteous and professional. After measuring everything, they gave me two options, one of which included same-day installation (even though I was previously told I'd likely have to wait 1-2 weeks for a custom order to come in) with better and more durable materials at a reasonable extra cost. Upon my agreement, they left and were back in just over two hours with the two pieces of glass, finishing the job quickly, efficiently, and neatly, and preserving the integrity of both doors. Between showing up on time to do the estimate, to finishing the work and departing: less than three hours. Very pleased, highly recommended, and will definitely keep Hodges in mind for all future glass repair and replacement needs. read more

THIS is how a business ought to be run. If I could give Hodges Window & Glass 10 stars, I would. I will never go anywhere else for glass and window repair. Here is the backstory. I have been in the home improvement business for 40 years. A client sold their home in Baltimore and needed a punchlist of work completed. I was down to 1 thing on the list. Replace a leaking thermal pane of glass 22" x 32". I needed the glass FAST. My business is mostly concentrated in Montgomery County, so I was unfamiliar with Baltimore area glass companies. I found Hodges and called at 4:30 on a Thursday night. Jackie took my order for one thermal pane over the phone and said it would be done in the morning. She offered to install the glass in the frame at no extra cost, if I would bring in the frame. Stupidly, I declined her offer. (I am a professional after all.) The next day I picked up the glass as planned. I chit-chatted with Jackie while Tim handled my transaction. A debonair gentleman (John) with a welcoming smile oversaw everything. My client's closing is on Thursday... that's tomorrow...so! I would install the glass first thing Monday morning. Of course, on Monday, I broke the glass while installing it! At 2:00 in the afternoon, I sheepishly returned to Hodges Window & Glass...WITH THE FRAME this time. I was treated fantastically. Tim took care of me again. Jackie reassured me that breakage happens...AND that they would cut me a break on this second piece of glass, which they did. John smiled his smile. Tim said they would get the window repaired between 3:00 and 4:00. At 3:30, Tim called. Everything went off without a hitch. They delivered on their workmanship and their professionalism. The window is repaired. Closing is set for tomorrow. Hodges Window and Glass made me look like a hero. But, THEY are the real heros. Thank you Jackie, John, Tim, and Natasha (she helped me with a follow-up phone call). The entire clan knows how to do their jobs AND make their clients feel great. 10 Stars for sure. read more

Great local company to work with! Getting my builder-installed windows repaired had been an ordeal what with custom parts, but Hodges saved the day. Loved that the technician (Ever is the best!) showed up in a mask and got the job done quickly and perfectly. Not a cheap repair, but less expensive than the repairman the builder referred me to. read more

I recently used Hodges for some window repairs when I was selling a house and they were a pleasure to deal with. The office was professional over the phone scheduling the appointment and the technician arrived on time. He was able to do the work quickly and competently. Landlord of many many properties always uses Hodges Screen repair. I called on my behalf because my dog is the who chewed through it. Tom came out at the specified time frame, we talked out the best options. Not even 5 minutes after left a femine guy called to say it would be repaired in 2 weeks? Why 2 weeks. I live a mile down the road rescreen it & be done with it. Femine dude-ette did not like my rational, as last season they came out to rescreen them at my home,, I'm sure they are not that crazy busy, dudette just didn't like it so his so "called manager (not the owner I asked for) Saying that couldn't accomplish me needs. Oh OK so here it sits not in door track where he took, instead leaning at my back fence. Tom needs to come back to my home and put back where he found, you must play fair in a sandbox. read more

They came to fix a bedroom window. Said that the frame had settled so the persistent movement of the window after this "repair" was normal & the window wouldn't come off the track. It did. Another "repair" was made while they were there...When I opened it again, it is still broken. $160.00 down the drain since I was told no guarantee for balance replacement. A waste of money. I won't use again. The technician stood on my bed instead of moving it out of the way of the window! read more

The group at Hodges glass are excellent. I can't say enough good things about the company. I have used Hodges to replace window glass in a few of my thermal windows that have leaked and they have done an excellent job. One day service at a very good price and quality product. I plan to use them for a side window replacement on my vaulted 2nd floor window foyer window. I'm sure it will workout great. Stopped by to get a piece of glass cut. The service was fast, friendly, and a little pricey. Family owned and operated business specializing in glass and window screens. There was the sweetest dog EVER who was napping at the service counter...a lovable lil' grey pooch who captured my heart! Conveniently located about a mile off Pulaski Hwy/Rt. 40 E. Parking is a little tricky directly in front of the building, so it's best to park on the side. Buy local and stop by if you have holes in your window screens or broken glass every where...lol! read more

This is my first yelp review. I have never received such rude and unprofessional service from a business so I feel a responsibility to let others and hopefully the owners know. One of the owners (Brian) came out to my home in the spring and repaired several windows. I was happy with the work, customer service, and reasonable price. While Brian was at my home I asked him what he thought about about a screen door for one of my patio doors. He suggested a Clearview screen door which they also install. I was excited they could do this for me. Someone came out the end of July to do some measurements of the door and he told me that Jasmin? would follow up with me with a quote. After not hearing from anyone for 2 weeks, I followed up with them. The person who picked up the phone took my name/info and said someone would call me back. This same scenario occurred for the next 4 weeks because no one ever called me back so I would call them the next week. Finally when I called on 9/5/2018 at 3:12pm I got smart and asked the person who I was speaking to their name so if they didn't call back, I had a record of who I spoke with. Natasha promised to follow up with me. Today is 9/13/2018, more than a week from when I last called, and still no follow up so of course I call them. I ask for Natasha because luckily I asked for her name last week. The first thing she says is that she has tried to text and call me. I double check my phone and text messages and see no missed calls, voicemails, or text messages from this company. I confirm she has the correct number for me (which she does). But I am positive she did NOT attempt to call or text me. She also precedes to tell me that there is no way I called every week for 4-5 weeks without follow up because she asked some of the people in the office and "not that many people work here." Why would I lie about something like that? Why would you accuse a customer of lying? My measurement appointment was on July 25th and today is September 13th. I still don't have a quote in hand for the work. I asked a few more questions about some other things we discussed last week and every answer was so rude and condescending. I've never been treated so unprofessionally by someone in a retail business. I calmly asked if she could have Brian call me (one of the owners who originally came to my house and was very professional). She quickly said bye and HUNG UP on me. Obviously this establishment does not want my business. Why would anyone treat customers this way? Why have a business if this is how you treat customers? Maybe they are racist as someone else in a recent review also mentions. It's disappointing because I was hoping I found a local window and screen repair company I could call for all of my window and screen needs. I hope I have a better experience when I call their neighbor "Glass and Screen Hospital." read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. I called in and spoke to someone they gave me a ridiculous price for them to come out and look at my window told me if I brought it in ... it would be much cheaper. When I brought it in the staff especially the owner Jackie (one of her employees had to give me her name because she refused to tell me) gave me a ridiculous price to fix my window and told me that she doesn't need "my kind" of people in her business! Unbelievably rude and extremely racist! Not too mention how unprofessional they all were! read more

Awesome company. I was referred to Hodges by a realtor in Harford County where I live. I took in two windows to have the glass replaced. Service was very professional. Quick work. Great communication. Was so surprised the work was completed in a little over one hour. Had I known that, I would have waited in the adorable store front with a few friendly dogs. Price was reasonable. I will definitely keep Hodges in mind when I need additional work done! read more

Fantastic service scheduled within a week and at a very reasonable price. I needed to have a garden box window repaired and while they were out replacing the window, I accidentally tore a screen on the door off my back deck. They fixed my window mechanisms and made me a new sliding door. I was selling my house. They worked fast and gave me a good price.

Replaced the foggy double pane glass in one of my slider windows with their double pane product. They measured and quoted on first visit, then arrived with the glass to install. Process was painless and very cost effective. John explained why I didn't need to use argon filled double pane glass based on new materials now available for glass sealing. Will be calling them back when I need rescreening for my balcony doors. read more

John and his office always do a great job on our glass issues. He has fixed countless windows for us over the years!

I sent in an email request for service 10/8...no call back, no email. Called 10/12, was told not sure if they could help with my project, would call back. No call back. Just called and was told that despite the fact that the job is within their 25 mile radius "they just don't go there." And it took me 8 days to find that out. Won't rust to use them and a job that they would go to. read more

Friendy, quick, affordable! Would definitely recommend.

I was so disappointed with this company. I made an appointment (1.5 weeks out, due to their availability) for an estimate. The person who can out to complete the estimate was very nice and said someone would call me with the price. They did call and I asked them for prices for another type of glass than the standard. They said they would call me back and they did not, so I followed up with another call. I then scheduled a time to have my window replaced, asked if I needed to pay first so they could order the window (the first person said I would need to pay first) and was told "no" and that technician who would be replacing the window could take care of payment. On the day they were scheduled to come (rearranged my schedule to meet them) I got a call from them asking if I was going to move forward with the window replacement. They hadn't ordered the window! They said they didn't order it because they didn't receive payment. They also had no record of that day's appointment. They had taken my window grids (to match color) and I asked when they could drop them back off to me. They said I could drive out to them to pick them up. They ended up mailing them to me. I was furious and decided to go with another company. read more

I am disappointed. After a lot of back and forth, we decided that we would cut our losses with Hodges when they would replace the back patio slider, as it was WRITTEN on our contract. They replaced it, and less than a month later, there is a seal issue. They said they would charge me $120 to come out and diagnose it at this point. They said they will NOT warranty the slider. I feel I have been deceived and frauded. read more
