They were very responsive, quick, and clean. Very professional. Overall, very satisfied with the repair.

Service was prompt, professional and reasonably priced. We are thrilled with the results. We would definitely use them again.

Quick service and install despite being a custom door with a leaning wall. It looks very good and reasonable pricing. The installers worked very quickly and communication was easy over text. Very nice people, will be reaching out for our next bathroom. read more

District Capitol Glass - New door! - Windows Installation Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

I was cleaning windows on a Saturday and one of the panes in a double paned window completely shattered. We were adopting a cat on the upcoming Monday, and because of renovations we were having done in our basement, the room with the shattered window was one of the main rooms we had anticipated the cat to be in. I called on Monday morning, and District Capitol Glass came out the same day and replaced the window, all before we brought the cat home. The repair took a half hour and the window looks great. read more

I'm sorry to have to provide detail here Habib, but in fact the first day you said you would come out in a 2 hour window, you didn't let me know until the end of the 2 hour window that you couldn't make it. So we rescheduled for another 2 hour window the next day. That day, you called at the last minute again to say you would be right there. And both my husband and I heard you say 5 minutes, because we were about to cancel it yet again if you couldn't make the promised 2 hour window. You showed up 40 minutes after the 2 hour window had ended. When I left this initial review I said I was fine with the work done, and that is still true. What I wasn't happy with were the three phone calls and 5 texts you sent me after I posted my review, asking me multiple times to take it down or change my rating. That isn't appropriate. I left a fair assessment and you should accept that. I shouldn't have to worry about blowback from a service provider. read more

Update 4/10: after initially indicating I was unhappy with this business's response in the middle of a job, Moses immediately reached out and made things right. I am now completely satisfied and very pleased with Moses' quick response when he realized I was not happy. He came to the house the same day and immediately took care of the problem, completing the job very quickly and installing new parts for the window mechanism. I really appreciated his concern to ensure I was satisfied with the service and quality. He offered me a discount for the trouble. All in all, I strongly recommend District Capitol Glass; their concern for customer satisfaction is exemplary! read more

I worked with them twice, which once I had to get the glasses installed ASAP. Would happily return for their service in the future. read more

Habib was stuck in traffic, but was totally communicative along the way advising arrival. Though I had tried to repair the door and thought parts would be required, Habib's expertise was that parts were not gonna be available to do the repair I expected. And he is right, I had previously checked with the manufacturer and they were reluctant to provide parts. So Habib gave us a Frank explanation as to what would need to be done to make this door more usable for a six-year-old, and we are grateful for his expertise and would use him again in a heartbeat. The bottom line, Habib is worked diligently to satisfy his customers. read more

Quick response time and excellent customer service. Moses did a great job fixing a window in our house.

I highly recommend Moses at District Capital Glass. His price was better than the competition, considerably better I might add, and he is a real expert. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it, and at the price he quoted me. He replaced the balancers in a number of my windows. He is a real expert in his field and a pleasant guy to talk to as well. Again, if you hire this guy, you will be extremely happy. read more

Pictures speak for themselves. When I asked about the color of the silicone in the holes, tech told me to forget about the silicone and look at the glass. I kicked him out at that point. SMH. UPDATE SMH. Ridiculous and disingenuous. So now tile work isn't in his skill set?!?? Then why offer your services as a glass shower enclosure company?!? It wasn't a surprise job and if he would have said anything remotely about not being able to work with tile I would have said thank you and moved on. Un-freaking-believable. The glass was being reinstalled/replaced due to the complete replacement of the tiled shower floor...previous floor leaked. Since the glass was custom, possibly needed new panels. When this dude first came to my home he tried to use ALL of the existing glass. I did not initially go with him cause I was concerned about his insistence on "making it work". I explained that I will be selling the home in a few years so I didn't want it looking home made. I stated over and over again if all new glass was needed, fine cause I didn't want it looking crazy. After I insisted, he said that only one new piece of the 3 was needed and took measurements. I didn't go with him initially cause I was concerned about him pressing to make the 3 original pieces work. So I go with another company and they also said only one new of the 3 pieces of glass needed to be ordered. Long story short two new pieces were needed and the other company tried to charge a crazy amount and the one piece they provided was massively chipped. That's why I circled back to District. The Tech came back and once I told him the other company stated two new pieces were needed he was like oh, they are right. One of his selling points was that he would plug the holes with LIKE color grout. I never asked him to do that cause 1 - I didn't think of it and 2 - He brought up the holes and how he would take care of them without any prompt from me. TO BE CLEAR, he is lying that I asked him to do something outside of skill set. He volunteered! There was no misunderstanding. He knew the dates I repeatedly discussed in text would not work. He lacks the ability to accept responsibility and he thinks he can speak anyway he pleases. When I asked about the grout color mismatch, he said in a nasty tone, forget the holes and look at the glass. I'm sorry, who the heck do you think you are speaking to anyone let alone the home owner like that? TO BE CLEAR, there was no misunderstanding about the install date, time for arrival nor what he said at the end. Lastly, what's his excuse for the poor workmanship with his install? The silicone looks like it was applied by a DIYer homeowner and he installed the door upside down on purpose. He removed the plastic door seal from the bottom and reinstalled it. What makes it worse was that he reused the old seal rather than providing new. If you don't believe the above, believe the pics I took. If he shows you pics of a beautiful frameless shower that he supposedly did, circle back to my pics of the silicone, which should have been smoothed and not just left untouched after application. read more

EXCELLENT customer service and quality. I'm so happy I found this company! I'm currently renovating all my bathrooms and needed a custom 90-degree shower door. Within a week of ordering, I received the door, and it is perfectly installed! They even came back after I discovered that the wall next to the shower was uneven, and I needed the shower door removed to get the wall fixed. Whenever I need services or have a question, I get help almost immediately. So hard to find this level of customer service nowadays! I highly recommend District Capital Glass!! read more

Moses and the installers really went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect. The master bath install was a nine month project to build a neo-baroque bathroom and I wanted to make every detail perfect. District made multiple visits to get it 100% perfect without any hassle. District Capitol Glass - The top of the door needed to be 1/8" wider than bottom. Door fits and seals perfectly. - Windows Installation Near Me - Annandale, Virginia

From start to finish, this was a very positive experience and I love my new glass door. Moses was always incredibly responsive and provided the best price I received. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided great advice on my design, including the fact that the door would last longer and be stronger if the swing part of the door was attached to the wall and not another piece of glass. When I opted not to follow his advice because of the aesthetics of my space, he upgraded the thickness of the glass that would support the swinging door at no extra cost, which I really appreciated. Tech team was clean and professional. They noticed the scratch on one of the panels before I did and Moses was very communicative about getting it replaced. Great service, great product, friendly. And great price. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again. read more
