No thanks, I'll give my large glass project to someone else. If that phone call was any indication of how business with them would be, no thanks. With so much competition in the DMV area, do yourself a favor and find someone else.

I contacted A1 on December 2nd about a problem with my screen door. After returning from a business trip on December 16, I provided more details about the issue. They said someone would come to take measurements, but according to my front door camera, no one ever showed up. On December 18, they confirmed via text--providing detailed information--that they could do the job at a price I could afford. Finally, on December 30th, they came to do the work. I was out of town for business again, but since my first experience was positive, I trusted things would go smoothly. That was a mistake. They did the exact opposite of what we agreed upon, despite confirming the details in writing. Nothing they promised was actually done. To make matters worse, they left my front porch a mess. I later had another handyman look at their work, and he told me I was overcharged, especially considering they just reused the original materials and merely painted over them. I am extremely disappointed that I gave this business a second chance. I am retracting my original positive review.

I reached out to Alex to have the issue addressed, and after communicating with him, we scheduled a time for him to come back and repair the shower door. The appointment time was one that Alex selected and confirmed. Unfortunately, he never showed up. There was no communication letting me know that he would not be able to make the appointment, and I received no response despite making multiple calls afterward. I understand that things can come up, but I would have appreciated basic communication and, more importantly, follow-through on correcting an issue with work that had already been completed. The lack of communication and failure to show up for the scheduled repair was extremely frustrating, especially given that the original installation resulted in water damage concerns. Based on my experience, I would not use this service again.
