We looked everywhere from Washington to Baltimore to replace the thermal glass in a set of French doors. Everyone said they couldn't do it. I was a little hesitant to go ahead with all glass and mirror because they didn't have the greatest reviews. but they did a fantastic job. Because of them we didn't have to replace the doors and we saved thousands of dollars .My wife was very happy because we had a matching set of these doors.And all the potential replacement doors we looked at she didn't like. I was turning into a parking lot with my blinker on and they aggressively honked at me because I was stopped waiting for a pedestrian to cross. Great to work with. It was easy through Yelp messaging to provide them with photos and we set up the appointment for the work by phone. Good pricing for removing mirrors from two walls in our home. They took down several large mirrors that covered two walls, to also haul off for disposal, plus they took the extra trim that was around them that we didn't need--thank you! The guys were courteous and informative and took care with our home. I recommend them if you have large mirrors you need removed. read more

I strongly recommend not using this place. I must say that there has really been no good part of working with them. Good lesson to learn $2500 later. The door was about 10% of my whole remodel! I was getting several quotes for Master bath shower doors. I called and left message but did not receive call back. Then when I mentioned to my contractor he said something to them and they said they did call. My voicemail works just fine. When Nicki called back she had such an attitude. Okay, I gave it a pass. They came to measure and I decided to use them. The estimator was a good guy. They came to install and either the measurement or the cutting was wrong because door did not fit. I called and spoke with Nicki again. She literally said, 'Oh well, we will order another one.' Not sorry for the mistake or that you took off a half day of work for us to come install. And I wasn't even upset about it because stuff happens. Do you think anyone apologized for the mix up? NO! That was Tuesday, Oct 3, 2017. And to add to it they never got back to me to let me know when they were coming to put the new glass in. I literally had to email them on Friday, Oct 6, 2017 at 4:59p and ask. Mind you by this time they already had $1500 deposit from me. So the owner emailed back and said well we expedited it, (like she was doing me favor on their mistake) and she had me scheduled for Tuesday. I asked when someone was going to notify us. Someone has to take off to let them in. OWNER also never apologized. Fast forward, glass installed Oct 10, 2017. Before the installer left I said I thought the door was too hard to open and dragging on the threshold. He said that is the way it should be and I would be glad about that later because it would loosen up. About 1.5 weeks ago (Jan 24, 2018) I noticed the piece of rubber striping was coming off the bottom of the door. So 3 months. Emailed the company today and got a call from Nicki. She said there is a 30 day warranty and I could come get a strip for $25 or if someone comes out it would cost me a lot more. And that's normal wear and tear. I told her the door is not in there correctly like I told the installer. And her 'oh well' came out again. She didn't offer to mail it say we will give a discount. Why would I buy something that is going to come off in 3 months because the door is still rubbing on threshold. I should have stuck with one of the other companies I got estimate from. Live and learn. I am always doing projects on my house. Getting ready to start another bath. I am so easy to work with. Have a contractor I have worked with for 14 yrs. I don't require much. But good customer service is really important to me. I am so surprised in this day and age that people would have such horrible customer service. Word of mouth is so important. I meant to add this review two years ago. I will always contact All Glass & Mirror for any future work that may be needed. They were prompt, courteous, fast working and very affordable. They replaced my sidelight for $307 - when other companies told me the entire door/door frame would have to be replaced, quotes were around $500 - $800+. We have a grandfather clock with S shaped beveled glass inserts. Two of 6 broke when we moved to Maryland. I went to many local glass shops that said they could not recreate these glass panels because they were not able to produce glass with this level of detail. The people at All Glass said 'No Problem' so I gave them the old inserts - cracks and all - and they had my replacements in few weeks. They fit great, and match the remaining original inserts in every detail perfectly. I highly recommend All Glass. read more

I worked with this company 2 years ago when I remodeled my bathroom. There is no question, they were more costly than some competition, but they had the water stain resistant glass that I was looking for and they seemed knowledgeable and reputable. During install, I asked the guys to be cognizant of how far they screwed one side in, as there was a pocket door in the wall. They ended up screwing into the pocket door leaving three holes in the door which the install guys did not tell me about and tried to conceal with caulk. When I reached out to management, they were good about offering to come back out to fix, but they didn't want to replace the door, so I figured it wouldn't be the same anyway and I am able to patch, so did this myself. The shower door did not seem aligned properly and the hinge sloped down, which I DID ask the install guys about, but they said it wasn't and wouldn't be an issue. My fault for not pursuing further. Fast forward two years later, it IS an issue. The door does not close all the way and the hinges are continuing to come loose. When I spoke Nickie today about the issue, she was relatively pleasant when she told me it would be $175 to have it adjusted to how it should have been from the beginning. I was pleasant as well, noting that this seemed like an excessive charge to fix a less than professional original install. She was certainly doing her job, which I don't fault her for, but of course $175 on top of the original $2500 door, seems ridiculous because I was stuck with installers that apparently did not know how to properly install. Nickie's demeanor slipped the more we discussed, with a sarcastic tone coming out. She compared the glass door to a car that needs constant oil changes and upkeep, and that with overuse it happens. I do in fact shower everyday, sometimes twice, if this constitutes as overuse. Moral of my story; whether it's common or not, I was unaware that a shower door could only last two years from this company, before requiring on going maintenance like a car. I did not realize this was in the same category and am disappointed in her attitude and unwillingness to stand behind the work, which was documented as being sub par from the beginning. read more

This has to be one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. First of all it took them two and a half weeks to get the items to make the repair from their supplier I never got an email keeping me up to date on the status of that. Then today they gave me a window of 1 p.m. To 3 p.m. To have a tech come out I waited till 2:30 to call to find out if the tech was even coming finally at 3 she calls me back to tell me that he was just now leaving Edgewater was it okay for him to still come. I'm going to settlement on my house Thursday morning and this is one of the items I had to have done to be able to go to settlement. I would never recommend them to anybody that I know even my worst enemy. The young lady that runs the office is rude and not professional on the phone I don't even know how she works there. Home repair companies of this quality are becoming as rare as hen's teeth... My Pella sliding glass door recently shattered and they recommended replacing the entire door for a price of $4,500 or more. All Glass came out (on time and for free) and gave me an estimate of a little over $300. Today they arrived early and worked for over an hour in pouring rain with perfectionistic standards. Even a hardly noticeable problem in an upper corner was given about a ten minute treatment until it was absolutely perfect (I think I would have just given up...) They put a drop cloth down to catch all of the old glass pieces and then when the job was finished, they vacuumed and even hand picked tiny pieces on the floor. Then they sprayed the glass with cleaner and washed it until it was shinier than it will ever be from here on...smile. Dustin and his assistant are exceptional employees who deserve big kudos. THINK TWICE BEFORE DOING BUSINESS HERE. Ordered a piece of glass on January 7th and it wasn't installed until May 17th. Though I requested a refund several times, my reasonable requests were repeatedly denied. Christy, the manager, was aggressive, insulting, and nearly completely absent in the 4 months I waited for my job to be completed. During this time I waited days and weeks for her to be 'free enough' to call me back, which she finally did only to yell at me. The installation guys were nice. In lieu of losing my nearly $600 in deposit I decided to have the job completed, this is not a small sum for my family, but I seriously deliberated taking the hit in order to avoid doing any further business or have further contact w Christy. read more
