Victor came out and conducted a garage attic inspection using a tall ladder ceiling hatch. He didn't enter the lighted attic but just did a visual inspection using a flashlight. After his inspection, Victor claimed one side of my roof needed an asphalt roofing patch. What he didn't tell me was that, five to six feet from his attic ladder inspection, was an extremely obvious water pipe leak that had created black fungus on nearby wood. So obvious you could easily view without a flashlight. So what we have here is deceiving a possible customer by telling him he has a roofing leak when, in reality, a plumber was needed to correct the interior water pipe leak. Thus, my one-star rating, which actually should be lower.

We had been heckled by window people here and there and initially went on Yelp! to ensure we found three reputable companies that would be honest and not waste our time. We met with Paul first and immediately wanted to go with him because he was to the point, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable about why the window he recommended was best for us. Further, Paul also provided recommendations on our basement window - recommending glass block as the best for insulation and aesthetics - rather than pushing for a sale - as well as how to insulate our door. He said we didn't pay the balance until he came himself and inspected the windows after his installers did the job. Even though we wanted to go with Paul from the start, we got two other quotes for good measure. One other company came in with a very close quote and similar window, but definitely didn't give the same warm customer service that Paul did. The other company sent a young college kid who came 15 minutes late with a canned sales pitch. He stayed over an hour and my husband tried to kick him out several times. Their window was similar to Paul's, but their price was twice as much. Back to Paul and his team....they came and installed 7 windows for us in about 5 hours. It was a team of 4 guys and they were incredibly careful about protecting our things. They had their system down as to who was doing what and they were very meticulous with their process. After they left, Paul came over and did the final inspection. He also showed my husband a few tricks with the window and told him that if we had any issues, he'd come out personally to help us out. I also just got the report below from our energy supplier - just one month and our usage is down 19%. We were able to immediately drop our thermostat 2 degrees and we have absolutely no drafts. Wish I had called Paul sooner! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him! You won't be disappointed. He's an honest professional that truly cares about his customers! They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Terrible measurement / installation, terrible customer service…read more Just replaced windows in August with Window Nation. Two of my new windows are about 1 inch too short for the frame likely due to a measurement mistake, and the gap is just stuffed with foam. According to ASTM E2112 and FGIA guidelines, manufacturers usually only allow a 1/2-inch rough opening (RO) clearance at the top and sides. After research, I was concerned not long after, this flawed installation will cause windows deformed (difficult to lift/open, will not lock, etc.) and the exterior caulking will be cracked allowing rainwater to seep in. After raising my concern to Window Nation, they sent someone out who just copied my photos instead of doing an actual inspection. They then closed my case without even notifying me. When I called back, they said my case was closed because the installation was "standard" and told me I'd have to pay out of pocket to fix it. They refused to transfer me to a supervisor or technical expert. Finally they said they let the installation manager know and he will call me to address my frustration, but I've been completely ghosted. Do not recommend.
