Apparently they don't understand the concept of "Lifetime" Anyway, the current owner won't even talk to me. A signed letter from Mr Sam Hammaker makes no difference. I guess he's no longer around. I wouldn't do business with this company but if you do, don't count on any warranty On more thing, the written response to me said that "no warranty was given" back in 2007. Anyone who wants to see the signed letter from Mr Hammaker or the big whole page "Lifetime No Gimmick Warranty" I would be happy to send a picture of both.

We recently had some questions about the work and contacted the company, only to find that the Sam we knew had sadly passed. The new owners (Sam's children) seem to be just as qualified, caring, friendly, and eager to support customers. I can only guess they have the same ethic, and would highly recommend the company. Apparently they are unfamiliar with the fact that they are on Groupon so I had to call back when someone from the company was in the office to get on the schedule. They had availability for two weeks later. I wasn't in a rush so I don't mind the wait. I wasn't scheduled for the 12-4 time window. On the day of I had a work commitment that came up last minute. They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. The materials are of top quality and the workmanship is good overall. What I have found, like many others, is that when you ask for a quote, they're all over you like flies, but AFTER the job is done, you're met by silence. We had two issues - some bulging siding and a torn window screen. No matter what number we call, we get routed to an answering machine. Does it even record? Who knows? At any rate, no one ever calls back or stops by. We'll probably, also like others, end up having to take care of it ourselves.
