I went with a second project with Ardo to redo my basement floor and remove mold. I stayed with Ardo principally due to the responsiveness and integrity shown by the owner Paul Arnold. The basement job was primarily done by outside contractors. Paul's oversight was first rate. My only criticism, not enough to dissuade, is the bidding generally is only to one sub. So we did not park or walk in the concrete for 10 days. Mind you both entry ways to the house were done. I followed all directions of not disturbing the concrete. I also complied with advertising on my property. On Sept 22nd I noticed what was considered a "settlement" crack per Tim. He also stated that it takes a total of 28 days for the concrete to completely cure. I was told someone would come out to repair it. I continued to reach out and was told they were really busy. Then once winter arrived I knew they wouldn't be able to do the work. Fast forward to March I started tracking out again. They finally came in April to "patch" the crack. It rained about 3 hours after they left and it looked as if nothing had been done. I reached back out and was told that is the way it's supposed to look and they would be back. Well now it's June almost July and no one has returned and now another crack has surfaced. Although they have been nice and courteous the follow-up does not meet expectations. It'll soon be a year and I paid as agreed but the service once they get your money lacks.

AA Exteriors was also one of the only companies willing to find a solution creating a roof that seamlessly blended and fused into my existing build for a reasonable price. Nick and his crew definitely delivered, and they were out on the job site from start to finish. While the permitting process through Anne Arundel County took a while and was by far the most difficult part, Nick worked quickly and efficiently on everything he could control including the: planning/design, demo, foundation build, decking boards, roof construction, screening, and punch out work. Through each step of the process, Nick kept the work area clean and I never felt like my dogs were at risk of injury when letting them outside to go to the bathroom. During the job, Nick made some excellent recommendations including recessed lighting around the roof of the porch and using decking boards instead of lattice to close in the deck. He also handled some extra tasks like cleaning the gutters, power washing the siding, laying down mulch and grass seed, and planting shrubbery. All this to say that Nick truly cares about the job he does and making sure the customer is happy with the finished product. We hired Cornerstone remodeling for a master bath, kitchen remodel that included new flooring for…read morethe entire first floor. The end result is absolutely beautiful. We truly appreciated the patience and ease of the initial design phase. The bathroom layout was challenging due to the space available. Kyle and Hannah offered multiple designs, met our questions and requests with a positive attitude and provided excellent suggestions. They worked with us until we got it just right. After the designs were set, the fun part of selecting materials began. What felt overwhelming was made easy and fun with the designer assigned to our project. Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an excellent eye for color and space. The end result is a cohesive design that is pulled together with the design elements we chose. One word of advice for both Cornerstone and future customers, know your appliance selections before ordering cabinets. We weren't aware of the level of importance of this step. You would think that refrigerators have standard sizes but they don't. It's more general. Understanding what a 36" range looks like compared to a 48" range will make a big difference knowing what is then available for counter space and cabinet options. Design changes after cabinets are ordered are nearly impossible. For us, all appliances were available for delivery in about 3 weeks with the exception of the range, which wasn't available for 3 months. The kitchen was finished almost a month before the range arrived. Understanding when to place the order is helpful. Cornerstone recommends a local appliance company that is reputable and easy to work with. It took a couple of weeks to work through all of the options and make our choices. We started a little too late and experienced some frustration because of that. What impressed us most was the quality workmanship, professionalism and respect for our home shown by every Cornerstone employee and also every sub contractor provided for the project. We've had other smaller projects in our home and can't say the same. It's obvious that Cornerstone has high standards and expectations for anyone they send to their customer's homes. The end result for the bathroom, first floor flooring and kitchen is absolutely spectacular. Look at their instagram and you will see. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends and already have.

He came and said, "I already checked the satellite maps, and I can give you a price for four (4) gutter replacement systems." Within five (5) minutes, he handed me examples of three (3) of the systems they used and a folder with all the details I needed to make my decisions. Going forward, with all of my home improvement projects, I will use Dogwood for one of my quotes I receive. This guy knows his stuff... and he really makes customers feel like the boss!
