For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great. Highly recommended.

I thought he was going to find the opening and schedule me for a later date to fix it. To my surprise it was done ASAP. I'm so happy he was able to assist in me evicting the furry squatters also known as Sasha the squirrel and her friends.

The person that I spome with wasnt the nicest person, so I fi ally made thr appointment in February of this year. They came out and redid our bathroom. From first glance the bathroom looked rwally nice, which it was, but the blinds that I had purchased doe the job, the installers broke them, secondly within a month of the install, all the caulking around the tub had turned yellow. The caulking was supposed to be white and not yellow. It looks like they were using white amd then they must have ran out amd juat uaes whatever color they had with them in order to finish the job. Our shower walls are a black, white, and gray colored marble, and the tub ia white. The YELLOW caulking looks horrible. It doesnt go with anything in the bathroom at all. It clashes with everything and makes the bathroom look old and dated. FYI, id they tell you this isba lifstime warranty, dont believe it. They sent a project manager named Heather out to make aure I was happy with everything and she said if there was anything that I needed to please give her a call and she would take care of it. After thr projexr was over I reached out tobher several times and she never answered the phone. I called, texted, left messages several timea regarding a few issues I had with the work amd she never contacted me back regarding my concerns. I called the company and spoke to several people who promised to get back with me and they never did. They were very unresponsive. After SIX MONTHS of calling and them taking me out of my character I finnaly got some help. A manager named Alex is the only one that partially helped me. He finally got someone to come out and re-caulk the area,. Also I told him about the broken blinds. I was supposed to get a refund, but as of yet I have mever received a refund. Earlier I was told to send photos of the broken blinds and caulking. I sent the pictures to Heather, the company amd some of the other mamager thar I jad spoken to along the way, and srill nothing was done until this time. He sent someone out to do the caulking and I never receivee a redund dor my blinds. Within in a few months ofnthem recaulking the tub, the caulking has turned yellow again. So I guess at this point I have to live with this. I am currently paying iver $11,000.00 for something I am not completely satisfied with. My suggestion is that if you ars looking to do a bathroom remodel, to stay far away from this company. You will end up pating a lot of money for a product that you are not satisfied with and you will get a "lifetime" warrenty that isn't really a lifetime warrenty. What good is a warrsnty if yoy can't get anyone to answer the phone for months and it takes at least six months fie them to come out and do a half ass job of fixing what was wrong.

It is nearly impossible to get a call back when we reach out for window repair or replacement due to defects. It took years to get them out at one point after multiple arrangements. Then last year they replaced a few, came back to replace more after multiple calls, then they broke a repaired window and scheduled to replace that one, replaced it and the new one broke (even worse the second time) and we've called but again no call back. Every time I have to call and call and wait. We're all busy, right? So if they could just do their job and call me back to arrange replacement, it wouldn't be so embarrassing to have their windows. And, while the panes are likely better than the originals, they are drafty, cold air coming through where the top meets the bottom. I expect when we pay tens of thousands of dollars to a company, they should do better.

RESPONSIVENESS - very fast, very responsive, very professional. A tad too frequent, but apparently roof repair is a competitive business. INSPECTION - scheduled and conducted efficiently; exceptionally thorough inspection report (David). COST - in line with all other quotes, which are apparently driven by the insurance estimate. Green Oak differentiation included owner interaction, master roofer certification, 5 star rating, excellent warranty, professional documentation and workflow management. WORK - scheduled efficiently, material arrived on time the day before, crew arrived on time the day of, work was conscientious and completed in 3/4 day (townhome), clean-up (including loose nail hunt) was impressively thorough. AFTER - received certificate of completion in a timely manner, along with photo record of repaired roof. Not being a roofer, it's difficult to assess the integrity of the new roof & shingles, however the end result appears clean and professional. Suspect the new, high-quality roof will increase the townhome value and/or decrease time to sell based on the high-quality products used and overall curb appeal of the work. Overall quite satisfied with Green Oak. Recommend.

I reached out to Green Oak after searching on Yelp (s/o), and was extremely glad I did. Brian H. took me through the process from start to finish, including an insightful explanation of the insurance claim process. The free estimate happened within a few days and ended up being lower than the insurance-assessed quote. He recommended a roof "tune up" as part of the package without pushing or trying to upsell me for more, which i really appreciated. He also accommodated my inquiry of adding on the installation of a bathroom exhaust vent cap, which was missing when we moved in. After being extremely reasonable on pricing and lighting-fast on responses, they scheduled and completed the work the day after signing. The team was efficient and respectful, with a huge attention to detail. TL;DR - Highly recommend giving Brian and Green Oak Exteriors a shot to help fix your home exterior issues, especially when you are in a bind with your insurance company!
