I needed paint for the interior of my house about a year ago. Not the cheapest but I expected that. They were helpful in providing all the samples I needed and other advice. Lots of people rely on them--it's just not reflected on Yelp.

I'm an electrician, not a painter. When it comes to paint, I've trusted Budeke's since 1988. It distressed me to see only one review on Yelp and it be so scathing. As for "professional, gentle painters," I just had what I thought to be one of those do some exterior work on my home. He actually stated before he began my project that he was "more of a perfectionist than I." I would love to have a picture of his face when I questioned the basis for his statement. Gentle and professional as he can't or may not be, I can now confidently demonstrate with examples the inaccuracy of his claim. In the past, my wife has had painting done in our home. It is my opinion that many residential spreaders of paint should advertise as such and refrain from the noble title of painter. I'm sticking with Budeke's and either hiring a profession, or applying quality product acquired from them myself.

Timonium Store - Reese Sectional…read more Long story for me with La-Z-Boy, but the short story is that this sectional is a replacement for a different couch and loveseat that I had originally bought (Colby). I received what I thought was going to be better furniture having chosen a different couch altogether and I was wrong. I only gave this 1 star because I love the idea and fabric of the Reese Sectional. With that said, this sectional is absolutely NOT worth the money. The store sample/display furniture was great but not what I actually got. What I received is in no way shape or form of the what used to be the reputation and or standards of La-Z-Boy. The fabric is great, but the construction is absolutely horrible. Rushed and cheaply made. A sectional should flow and fit nicely together like it was made as all one, mine was not. The cushions are different sizes, some are filled more than others. Top cushions are uneven and seams do not match. Single recliner seems unsteady and just leaning on the back it is unsteady and wobbly. Needless to say, I called the store manager and told him my thoughts. He did send out his delivery manager and the delivery manager agreed that this is not acceptable and told me that the manger would reach out. Two weeks and I received no call or response to my emails. So, I reached out to customer care/corporate and sent an email with pictures of my issues. After several emails back and forth, I was told by corporate that by the pictures, the couch I paid THOUSANDS of dollars for, needed to be fluffed. Yes, Fluffed. They even sent me a video and offered to send a tech out to show me how to correctly fluff it. Shocked at this answer for sure and responded and told them that I didn't understand how they could form any opinion only by looking at the pictures and that I did not want a tech to come and show me how to fluff the furniture but to come out and see for themselves. 1/3/23 - Tech came out and agreed that a couple pieces of the sectional need to be repaired. Ordered new cushions and "top of recliner", fluffed the corner and tried to adjust the fabric. Soon as I sat in it the corner is right back in the shape it was before the tech came out. I reached back out to tell him it was unacceptable and I'd like another to look at it. (More to come after the response) Note** At NO time during the hours I spent at La-Z-Boy with the store manager choosing this couch was I told that I would need to fluff the couch on a regular basis or I most certainly would not have chosen it. My advice is to REALLY investigate the furniture if you feel that you want La-Z-Boy. It is not at all what it used to be. Save your money and go with a more customer based company with better furniture.

After having to call a month later to see where the chair was I was told that it's ready for delivery ( even though no one reached out) The chair arrived damaged/defective so I sent it back. 2 weeks went by so I called to see what was going on. I was told that it had been repaired and was ready ( even though no one called) explained that I didn't want a chair that had been repaired for whatever reason. I wanted a new chair. I was told that I would have to call their comfort care department and I may be on hold for 1 to 2 hours. I asked to have the store manager call me because I wasn't going to wait on hold for 1 to 2 hours. She informed me that he had just gotten back from Chicago and was very busy and may not be able to call me. I told her I'm sure he'll be able to call me at some point. Just unbelievable. I can't believe how bad this service/experience was. Stay tuned ......
