I have been doing business with them for over 4 months, and am very satisfied with their service. Refill reminders are sent and the cream is shipped directly to me. My rosacea has disappeared. I do not recommend this company. I had a prescription for Rosacea filled and I ordered a refill. No problems either time. When I ordered a 3rd refill the wrong product came. I contacted them to return it and have the correct product shipped and they were emphatic they do not take product back and they do not refund....EVEN WHEN IT IS THEIR MISTAKE!! I had to get a prescription filled here and it was a bad experience. It took them 2 weeks and multiple phone calls from myself and my doctors office for them to finally fill it. Once they told me they got it they told me it took 2 days to fill and they would call me when it was done. They did not call and I again had to follow up with them. I not a fan of this place. The prices are constantly changing and they never have in stock what I need. A different person is always working the counter and I just think they've gotten too big to handle the volume that they're getting. They also really don't have any insurance contracts so don't expect them to bill your insurance. read more

Foothills Professional Pharmacy was once a well-run compounding pharmacy. Oh my, that has changed! In the past three months, I have called to confirm that prescriptions are ready, directly told that they are, only to arrive and the prescription has yet to be started. I have been told that the prescriptions have been sent, only to discover that the prescriptions have been sitting in the "out box" and have not even been made yet. Each time I call, I am told that the computers are slow or not working at all. If you are in need of compounding pharmacy, I would highly recommend finding one that has current technology and honest communication. read more

I'm with Jaime. My doctor's office called in the Rx as instructed by the pharmacy but were then told to fax the prescription. This was Feb. 22. After multiple phone calls, last week I was assured that my order was finally going out last Friday, to be here around the beginning of this week. That day passed, so I called again and was told that it was mailed Tuesday. They also tried to charge me about double what I was quoted until I said I would cancel the order. I was told that the price would hold for refills; I will not depend on that statement. My order finally arrived today, Thursday 3/21. That's an entire month for an order that they told me would be expedited. AND - the formula is different from what was ordered!! This, with no notification or request for approval. Terrible. Maybe it's gone downhill? I've had 2 different doctors fax prescriptions over and they never seem to receive the prescriptions until I call back and forth 6 + times. When I call them, about 70% I can't get through to a live person and have to leave a message. Since these are compounded they take longer than a regular pharmacy, so I get my refills sent 2-4 weeks in advance. This is so disappointing. They don't seem to care that their antiquated system of faxing scripts over doesn't work. read more

They took forever to fill a prescription--- took them 3 days to enter it into their system, and then another 4 days to make it up. They didn't even have it ready when they said and were 3 hours behind. Plus two of the prescriptions they made up were wrong. Since it took them 8 days to make it up, and then it was wrong, there was another 5 days before i called them afterwards to see where my prescription was, and they hadn't even started. I told them to cancel, called another compounding pharm and they had it within a day. I wasn't the only person having timing problems either. read more

Disappointed with there service! Do not reccomend! Hit or miss if they'll answer the phone to be put on hold many times not picking back up. My first script sat there 3 weeks because they didn't know how to make. I called once a week and they said it was in compounding lab. The 3rd week I questioned what's going on that I've been told this 3 weeks now and I'm not well. He said he'd check. Later that day another man called and said they don't understand script, estradiols, and they need to call the Dr. Seriously? Wait 3 weeks! Now I'm going into week 3 and my Dr sent same script in early to prevent this. He had to make changes and sent a new script but since script he'd sent in 7 days prior still had not been touched Foothills canceled that one out which wasn't supposed to happen. I was to have that to hold me over due to their mailing it from Phoenix to Sierra Vista takes a week. When they called last Tuesday to tell me 1st script hadn't been made so they'll mail new script out Friday and now want more money. Why? All she could say was the first price must have been wrong that she couldn't see anything on file. I called today, 7 days later, she says it looks like it was mailed yesterday, Monday, and gave me a tracking number. USPS track says label printed, waiting on package dated 10-12-20 Where's the package? I've been using less cream for 2 weeks and have been out 4 days now and I do not feel well! read more

My doctor sent me to Foothills Pharmacy when my non-bioidentical prescription stopped working. This is the best thing that ever happened to me. The cost of my prescriptions went down and the medication started working...perfectly. I have dealt with all of the staff over the years and I have found everyone of them to be kind, concerned, knowledgeable & professional. Recently one of the pharmacists thought my medication would work better in a different form and she actually called me and talked to me about the choices. I seriously can't say enough good things about this Pharmacy! The first few time I used them I thought perhaps it was a fluke that they were so accommodating, but NO, they have stayed steady throughout the years. Some of the staff are more quiet than others, but at the end they are all so helpful!!! I wish I had the same experience at every other pharmacy - I shouldn't have to lower my expectations to insure I'm not disappointed, and that is far from the case at Foothills. I just want to say this pharmacy is amazing. I had a compound cream that I needed made and I spoke with Nicky (hope I spelled your name right). This woman went above and beyond what she needed to, to help me get my insurance to pay for it. Apparently my insurance doesn't cover compounding medication. Nicky (my angel) got my co-pay down to $10! The team there worked it out so they covered it. A BIG Heartfelt thank you to everyone that works there for all the effort they put in so I could get this medication. No other pharmacy would have done that. I highly recommend Foothills Pharmacy. I'm in the healthcare field and work for an acute care hospital that does have a retail business. The Pharmacy is one of my areas of responsibility so I'm very familiar with pharmacy operations. Foothills' professionalism exceeds my expectations. They provide prescribed compounded and naturopathic medications for me at far better prices than our local pharmacies with a nominal shipping fee. My meds are mailed and have always arrived on time. I have dealt with other compounding pharmacies and I have never had such poor customer service after receiving my compound. My doctor wrote for 360gm. I received...unknowingly a fraction of my prescription. When I called to ask why on 3 separate occasions I was never allowed to speak with anyone and left 3 messages....all with no call back. I later found out from a collegue who used to work there that they will short fill if they wont make enough money on the compound. My doctor has pre printed scripts from this place and I have asked him to let his patients have a choice. I went back to Avella and had the prescription transferred. read more
