Stopped in today had keys cut for my new Jeep - these are one of the few shops that do this work. Foothill cut the key's I took them home and programmed them myself (super easy, just need two working keys) worked like a charm. The dealership wanted a mint to provide spare keys and I I would have had to leave my jeep there. Had a couple extra plain old house keys cut too while I was there. All work perfectly. Excellent service! I needed a door lock changed after we kicked out a creepy houseguest who had a key. The first locksmith who entered my mind was Antrim's. I called them and they quoted me $160 and said I could remove the lock myself and bring it to them. Well actually, I'm calling a locksmith because I wouldn't trust any lock that I installed by myself and can remove by myself. I want a guy in a locksmith truck to show up and install it with fancy tools so I feel super-safe. My second call was to Foothill Lock & Key. The Foothill guy changed the lock for $75, arrived exactly when he promised (to the minute!), was polite and professional, and had the job done in 10 minutes. Five stars!!! read more

I lost the keys to the factory installed lock on an electric, pedal-assist bicycle we purchased in Japan. The bike was locked without the key so I couldn't use it! I use this bicycle daily to take my child to school but wasn't sure anyone could create a spare because this bike and its parts are not found here in the States. The men at Foothill Lock were professional and courteous. They were able to open the lock the same day and for less than I expected. When I picked it up, one of the men spoke to me in Japanese. Great resource if you are looking for that hard to find part! I looked all over town for an interior locking mechanism for a vintage 1960's Schlage front door lock. A new door handle would have cost over $200. Foothill dug around and found the exact part I needed - and since it was 'pre-owned' gave me a great deal on the part. Knowledgeable, friendly and well stocked - give them a try if you can't find it anywhere else. read more

I went to this place the other day because my husband and I were locked out of our car. We were in a hurry, and even though the technicians were incredibly busy they tended to our problem immediately. I was very impressed by their fast service and their ability to handle a problem. i've relied on foothill lock and key for years and have never been disappointed. low prices, great customer service (once they came to my house after hours because i had locked my key in my car), and they copy LASER CUT keys!!! very few independent locksmiths offer this service. go here instead of blowing hundreds of dollars at the stealership. no brainer, tell all your friends. read more

Yelp was a great resource and I narrowed down my choices to LA Wifi Guys, as their information gave me the most confidence. Made an appointment and David came out. Really liked his approach. Honest and transparent and not hustling me for upsells. He described my options clearly and it was easy to decide what I wanted. Not cheap, but very fair considering the higher quality solution and more experienced installation. It actually cost notably less than my original set up, which was done 6 years ago and had less features and most of all turned out crappy. David gave me an estimate for parts delivery, which turned out to be exact, and we made the install appointment for the day after. He came in and was very polite, careful and steadfast. He also was great at explaining how to operate my new system. But most of all, weeks after the install, I am sooo happy with it! Really great setup with excellent user interface and excellent camera resolution. I have had service from them 2 times. The first time I walked into the store and the gentlemen there was so polite and kind. He was very friendly and knew what he was talking about. I purchased a safe from them and had a key made for my Lexus. He was very fast and I felt at home. The second time I received service from them was when I was locked out of my house. It was at night and I was freezing. I called them and the dispatcher was very kind and said he would have his driver at my house within 15 minutes. The driver got to my house on time and opened my door less then a minute! The driver was very neat and tidy. He was very friendly and I was a $20 short, of what I had to pay and he told me not to worry about it and left. Last week my wife and I locked our keys in the house, we went to Google to find a locksmith and found Foothill Lock & Key. They state they will be at your residence in 30 minutes or less - and this held to be true. The locksmith was clean, professional - and most of all - the price was good. I rarely need a locksmith, but when I did - they were definately there to help. I frequently write reviews about businesses that my wife and I use - however I rarely give five stars. I have been using Foothill Lock & Key for quite some time, and every time I use their services, they get better. I needed my house rekeyed, and they scheduled me in immediately and had someone come out. They are not only professional, but they are also very fast at what they do. Few days went by when I received a courtesy call from them asking if I had any problems and if I was satisfied and they even invited me to their shop for a free house key. I needed a key for my Toyota Camry. The dealership wanted a ton of money for a keyless entry remote + key. I couldn't afford to pay what they were asking so I asked the people at Foothill Lock and Key. Not only could they do what I needed for a reasonable price, they were prompt and courteous. They also gave me all the information I needed in case I wanted a backup key. If you need a transponder key or a keyless entry remote programmed, I highly recommend giving them a call. read more

Oi Landlord used these guys to switch out the lock on the house I was moving out of. First, they charged $140 (which was quickly taken out of my security deposit) when many others do the same work for $20. Then to boot they tore up the door and doorway while doing it. The most special lock that I have is on my house, built in the 1920s, it has over 150 to 200 pieces inside the lock, she said it was only the third one she had seen in her twenty plus years of working as a locksmith. Recently, she has rekeyed my back door to match a new lock on the front door, with a new Schlage lock that she brought for my back door. It is the kind of lock that you have to precisely install, or it won't work at all. Some locksmiths can't do the work, then Julie comes in to do the work. She is very efficient, knowledgeable, and she sure does a wonderful job. She is always my "go to"locksmith, and I use her services whenever I need a locksmith. I recommend Julie's All Lady Locksmiths very highly, especially if you have an antique lock, or a very difficult lock to deal with, she can take care of it very nicely.
