Great location with plenty of indoor seating. true café ambiance, as well as great coffee. Just up the stairs from the 'Alley'. Another coffee option for pike place visitors and a must try personal especially for locals. I live Americanos but I've also tried their lattes. All good. They have all the vegan milks too! Almond soy oat... Service is friendly. Maybe not quick but friendly.

My husband loves their coffee and espresso martini. I like the vibe of this place and how close it is to Pike Place. We also tried a sandwhich and it was quite tasty. They still got it!

We came back to try the waffles and it was worth it. This place has great drinks but the food is also very good. The staff were lovely and patient people, and the barista even brought out our waffle to us. We sat outside since their patio is dog friendly. Really good quality cafe that's bustling even on the weekends.

As a vegan, this place was a miss for me. We came for breakfast because I read reviews from other vegans saying there were a few options. They didn't have the tofu scramble in the Grab & Go. So when we went to order, I asked if they had any vegan options, and they asked me what that meant. I said I wanted something made without animal products, and they recommended the Fonte scramble. So that's what I ordered and asked for no cheese and a side of potatoes. It arrived with scrambled eggs. You may think I should have known that and it was my fault, but I specially asked for an animal-product free option and that's what I was told I could have. We also got the avocado toast, which was tasty enough, and two steamed vanilla almond milks. It wasn't too busy when we went, but we waited quite a long time for our food. This is probably a good option for omnis, but it wasn't great for us.

Directly across from SAM, I can see The Hammer Man from my seat looking out over the street. Nice vibe instead and fast service. Ordered the usual (decaf flat white with heavy cream). "It's a delightful cup of coffee!" hubs says. We're sitting here contemplating what city life would look life if we sold the camper and moved up here to the PNW. We'd be regulars here, for sure.

Fonte was a highlight of your last trip to Seattle. The service was amazing, the drinks were perfect and the breakfast food was amazing!! We went almost everyday and made time out last day for one last stop! Can't wait to come visit. Best cup of coffee in Seattle

Espresso martini

This is one of my favorite coffee places in Seattle. And given how many there are, that is saying something. I love the casual vibe of this specific location and how friendly the staff is. After only coming in a handful of times, they remembered me by name. The sign does say they are known for their espresso martini and I have to say, it is one of the best that I've had. Although I have not had their food, they do have a pretty decent selection to choose from.

Sage latte and biscotti

Came here during a visit to Seattle. Opted for the sage latte as their syrup for sage was made in house. I really enjoyed this! I also tried their chocolate dipped biscotti, which was delightful. They have plenty of indoor seating. Service was friendly.

Shaken espresso Not on the menu but they were willing to make it! And it tasted amazing

Loved this cafe and the espresso was delicious I wasn't two days in a row. I asked the waiters to make a shaken espresso which isn't on the menu but they used the bar shaker and it tasted delicious. Love the 70s lounge vibe it was nice to work remotely

Vanilla latte
Stephanie R.

My vanilla latte was delicious! Decently priced, quiet and a good place to stop by if walking near pike place. Service was quick and staff were friendly!

fonte fog waffles, breakfast scramble wrap, matcha latte, turkish latte

Well lit cafe with reasonable seating for its size. Friendly workers and for only two of them, they handled service quickly and efficiently. The berry spread on the waffles was wonderful and everything was well prepared. The drinks were lovely too, not too sweet. Bussing is self service but easily laid out. My one comment would be pricing. It was a bit steep but to be expected from this area of Seattle. I almost sampled the espresso martini made with in house cold brew liqueur but the $20 price steered me away.

We also shared the combo silog which was a great way to sample more of the menu. I enjoyed the garlic rice and ilocos especially. The diner feels so cozy and homey - old photos of the owner and customers and magnets his guests left are a nice touch. Friendly and attentive service despite the busyness.

You order at the front before being seated which means food arrives shortly after sitting down. With that noted, I wouldn't return to wait that long. First visit, to try a relatively famous spot, sure. Inside is a bit tight, but conversation can be had. My friends got the lumpia-silog and bistek-silog. Lumpia was tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Bistek was dry. The beef was tough to chew, seasoned alright on the outside but likely overcooked if not old. I opted for the oxtail silog which was delicious but pricey. Oxtail Silog - for $29, this plate definitely gets a double take. After waiting in the hour line, I figured I should commit for a tasty meal. Oxtail comes in a side bowl alongside a bit of hearty broth which the rice absorbs well. Meat is tender, falls off the bone, but pulling around oxtail bones isn't the simplest, so definitely have to bite around crevices. All in all, this plate was delicious but think it comes with a huge tourist tax I've had better value for oxtail plates. Ube Pancake Stack - four sizeable pancakes. Some pictures, including my own, don't do these justice. I can definitely get behind the hype. They're drenched in a rich ube sauce and there's plenty to go around. Honestly the ube flavor is present on the pancakes, but it feels relatively faint because the sauce is extremely sweet and flavorful, minimizing the pancake taste and expanding the gap between flavors. That being said, I think I would enjoy the pancakes with less sauce (or preferably, on the side).

What a secret gem of a place! Just tucked in from a bustling Denny street!…read more We started out with some cappuccino and iced latte, and they were lovely. They served the coffees with a little shortbread cookie, and these little details really elevated the whole experience. Also, the cappuccino was so foamy, and it hit the spot immediately. The breakfast menu was also fantastic. The TPC Breakfast plate included sausage, potatoes, bacon, bread, and some scrambled eggs. There also was an option to add Beecher's cheese on the eggs, and I'd say it was totally worth it. Most importantly, the Dutch baby was as good as they'd advertised. It comes out on a piping hot skillet which kept the dessert warm till the end of the meal. The service was very quick even though they were entirely booked out for the time we were there for. I appreciated the patience from the servers and their helpful directions in picking the menu items. I will warn you that we had to reserve our spot months in advance. This is probably because the restaurant is great but pretty limited in seating space. However, it was definitely worth the wait, so don't be discouraged. I highly recommend trying it out at least once. All in all, highly recommend! Please go try Tilikum Place Cafe!

Overall, it's worth a visit - just make a reservation and come for the Dutch babies. I was told there are seasonal Dutch babies so try again sometime in June maybe. Our server Charlie, was engaging, friendly and on top of things. We ordered the shared dips---olive tapenade, eggplant, hummus, tatziki with some warm pita triangles. They're all good and a fun way to start the dinner. We each had kebabs---lamb, chicken and mushroom. All good, moist and tender all poured with a jig of ouzo on a hot skillet. The onions in the bottom get browned and crusty, so good to eat. One had a lamb burger which looked juicy and served with delicious mound of fries sprinkled with rosemary. Food here has always been awesome. Skipped dessert as we had homemade cookies to eat at our next stop.

Because you never turn away a delicious PNW Salmon dish. The place is cute, mainly wooden, lots of plants inside (my allergies were killing me here hehe).
