I was so surprised when Cindy moved it and knocked on our door to let us know. My 92 year old dad lives with us and Tom made sure there was a level path for him to walk up to the front door. Their open hearts also helped him with his car key fob. Tom spent a lot of time with us on making choices. On one occasion we called him and said we were going to check out a tile store. Thank you A to Z Pool (Albert and your awesome crew), this review is a token of our appreciation. Why you should consider A to Z Pool Replastering for your pool remodel needs? They simply beat their competitors in many ways: 1. They keep their overheads minimal in order to offer lower estimates. When I yelped, they did not appear immediately on the top of our search. It takes a little bit of scrolling down. Please be aware, Yelp gets paid for businesses to appear on the top of your search. They also do not waste expenses on brochures or unnecessary costs that customers end up paying for to keep the lights on. 2. More budget friendly. I called and booked about a handful of highly recommended pool companies for estimates based on highest number of reviews. In the end, our experience is upsell, overpriced services, and unfriendly detailed contracts of extras. I yelped again for the second round and included A to Z Pool because they advertised "budget friendly". This was the smartest first step for us. 3. Genuinely helpful and upfront. We immediately met with Albert, the owner of the company, who was very helpful in guiding us which option holds out the longest for our money's worth. He did not push sales at all, gave us great recommendations on what we needed, and was able to start and finish within the two weeks we wanted. 4. Clear communication and reliable. We had the following work done: demolition, replace tiles, replastered mini pebble (hokkita George), add baja shelf, repair mastic, replace old filter, and lastly include start up services. Communication was clear with Albert, who directed the crew each day. They arrived on time every morning and completed each task in a timely manner. If you are particular about anything, make sure to let them know. I certainly did when my spouse had our steps too narrow together. I asked them to extend it, and it was an easy, quick fix. 5. They exceeded all our expectations in terms of doing quality work and keeping our yard space clean afterwards. They did not cut corners to reduce their cost, and we all saved because they kept their overheads minimal. That's the primary aspect of how they can offer the best price for the quality work they do. A to Z made it so simple and positive for us in the entire process. This review is based on our experience and overall satisfaction with them. I highly recommend you to give them a chance. They can give you that modern backyard and pool makeover at the most reasonable cost! Attached are pictures for before/after and simple vs confusing outline of work from them and another company. Unfortunately, it was often difficult for others to fully understand our vision, and many things were not completed the way we had hoped. Eventually, we decided it was time to find one company that could bring our entire backyard dream to life. We interviewed four different companies, and Kiko immediately stood out from the rest. Not only was he professional and knowledgeable, but from day one he was genuinely excited about the transformation process. Having someone just as excited as we were made him feel like so much more than an ordinary contractor. Choosing Kiko gave us peace of mind knowing he would truly do his absolute best to help us achieve our dream backyard. Throughout the entire process, Kiko was transparent, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. Whenever unexpected situations came up, he always kept us informed and worked with us to find the best solution. One thing we especially loved about this company is that they have an amazing team behind the scenes specializing in every aspect of the project. At the beginning of the process, we had so many ideas floating around, and Aya, their architect, helped bring everything together beautifully. I sent her my inspiration photos, and she created a 3D rendering of our backyard that truly helped everyone visualize the final result. Kiko and Aya even came to our home to present the design, and they made changes in real time until we were genuinely happy with the plan. Even after that initial meeting, our design evolved many times, and Kiko was always patient, receptive, and attentive to all of our comments and concerns. He even made sure to preserve several of our trees and carefully relocate my banana and lime trees that I love so much. That level of care and attention meant a lot to us. Our entire backyard renovation including demolition, pool construction, inspections, and everything in between was estimated to take about six months, but the project was completed much faster than expected. His team worked so efficiently, and we were consistently impressed by their dedication and work ethic. My husband and I even went away on a two-week vacation during construction, and Kiko made sure our home was taken care of while we were gone. There were even times we would message him late at night fully expecting a response the next morning, but he would still reply. Daisy, Juan, and the rest of the hardworking crew who were part of the main construction process were also incredible to work with. Every person on the team was kind, professional, and committed to delivering high-quality work. The craftsmanship and overall quality this company provides truly is the best of the best. Completing this renovation has been one of the biggest upgrades we've ever made to our home, and my husband and I are beyond grateful to Kiko and his entire team for taking such great care of us throughout the process. Our backyard has become a beautiful oasis where we can relax and recharge after stressful weeks, and even our piggies love their new home too! When the time comes to renovate the rest of our home, we will absolutely be reaching out to Kiko again.
