Sub contracting everything out which makes for plenty of weird third party communications about when people were going to be here and it always seemed like no one knew when exactly. they'd make promises that never really materialized, and some of these sub contractors were good, some were just kinda meh. ultimately the job got done in a timely fashion, the pool works, but the finish work was off in a few areas, and I tried to keep them accountable and on top of the things we saw that were just sort of ok during the process and it was always yeah for sure we'll get to that, they'd always miss something. well, I've been asking for a light to get fixed that was put in really poorly, 1 out of 8 and the rest are good. also we've been waiting for some general grout cleanup and finishing and I was originally told by Ryan that they'd get right on it. lots of texts that things would be taken care of and now they've just sort of ghosted me after telling me they'd get right on these last few very small things. Very strange. at the end of the day, I got a pool for a lot of money, they were not our cheapest bid but I trusted Ryan to get it done the best. did he? they did pretty good but there's room for improvement In the quality of workmanship.

About a month ago I noticed 2 spots in the deep end where the plaster had cracked and peeled. Not only did Thomas offer to drain the pool, fix the plaster spots, and pay the costs associated with the water company, he personally took time out of his busy day to check the entire pool to see if there were any more spots on the plaster that were defective, there was, and again fixed at no charge. We contacted Teserra and they walked us through the entire planning process. We met with the designer at the showroom and nursery and were offered many great options within our budget. Teserra handled all the details including the city permit applications and sign-off. Demolition was quick and efficient. The Teserra demolition and installation crew was hard-working and professional. Change orders are inevitable with replacement projects and Teserra was easy to work with when those issues came up. They did an amazing job and completed the entire project in about 3 weeks. Our community pool deck is brand new and it was a great investment. We have happy homeowners and a refreshed pool area. Add'l note - Since installation, Tropical Storm Hilary passed through SoCal and there was enough rain to cause our pool and jacuzzi to overflow. Of course our simple wants ultimately turned into what we truly desired in this remodel. Raymond was amazing. He was an excellent communicator which earned him bonus points from the start. Not always knowing the questions to ask, Raymond was very confident in his knowledge, informative with our options, and very patient with us. He always remained professional and respectful when he had to suggest that what we wanted might not work out, or if we had to decline options that were too costly. Most importantly, his quote was extremely detailed and everything was always transparent. We liked that Angels Pools is a local family owned company with all of their own employees, no subs!! We knew they were the pool company for us. Contract was signed, project starts, and thats when we really got to see this powerhouse team work their magic.
