Alec and his team were professional, knowledgeable, and managed the entire project extremely well from start to finish. They took the time to review my equipment setup, answer questions about the gas line and heater options, and made sure everything was installed correctly. The team installed a new Jandy JXiQ 400K BTU pool heater and also addressed wiring and electrical-related issues during the project. The workmanship was clean, organized, and professional. Communication throughout the process was excellent, and the installation was completed efficiently. It's hard to find contractors who are responsive, honest, and take pride in their work, but ACE Pool Repair & Remodel delivered on all fronts. I would absolutely recommend Alec and his team to anyone looking for pool heater installation, pool equipment upgrades, or pool repair services in Santa Ana and Orange County. We just had our pool redone by Wally's Pool Repair and are extremely happy with how it turned out…read more I interviewed four companies and each one had their own style, but I felt the most comfortable with Walter. He took the time to explain what the possibilities of the pool we could do, offered several options and knew the local codes to ensure the pool was done properly. He started the project within a week so we were happy to get the project going. The one characteristic that made him stand out was when he said he was going to be there on Monday, he was there. Anyone who's done a home project knows that this is the most frustrating part of the process. His guys actually showed up each day and the project took just a few weeks. It appeared that they worked on one project until it was completed instead of being spread too thin. We added a baja shelf, some stairs that are pretty stylish, the pebbletech material and replaced the pool pump. For the pebbletech we threw in some abalone shell too and that really gives it a sparkle. Walter went way above and beyond by also fixing our pool light rather than replacing it. Overall, I could not be more happy with the project and the work that Walter did. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get their pool redone from a small project to a large. He really knows what he is doing and will do it right. Also, his price was really good, but once you meet him you'll realize the quality over many of the other companies.

We went from old tired white plaster to the newer pebble plaster and it looks terrific. Also replaced the old copper plumbing with PVC. They did a very commendable job. The crews were on time, worked very hard in the summer heat and kept things clean. They did an exceptional job on the trenching and plumbing it required the careful removal of pavers, installation of a new skimmer and drains and three returns. The pavers stayed intact and were replaced with care and look terrific. Not an easy pool to work on, as it is old and a rather unusual shape (yes, that's a five pointed star). We found the price was quite fair and there was good transparency on any additional charges such as some compromised concrete discovered after the old plaster was removed.
