We had a family reunion lunch with a group of 7. He staff was helpful since we had two with walkers and one in a wheelchair. Three in our group ordered pulled pork sandwich and it looked amazing. I got the shrimp po boy which was abundant with shrimp and enormous. The special rounded out our group pork tenderloin with Mac and cheese. It a great sports bar with lots of TVs to cheer your team

Going bridal shopping?! This is your celebrate and have mimosa place. We had a group of seven and rushed their door when they opened at 11am on a Saturday. We were celebrating, my daughter had just said yes to a dress. They were very quick to get us a round of mimosas. We tried the potato keg appetizer as well as the pretzel bites. You have to get double orders of potato cakes because they are so good and that was everyone's favorite! We then had an assorted mixture of wraps and salads but everyone was extremely pleased with their food. The waitress was absolutely hilarious. We told her that we had to get moving with food because one person was hangry. A minute later she came out with a little package of oyster crackers and said she didn't want anyone to get hurt. When you sat inside the decor felt like you were sitting truly like a little pub over in Ireland. It's just a charming little pub and we had such a great time there.

Quesadillas and basket of sweet potato fries

My niece, my husband, myself and two of her friends stopped in after finding the Dress we wanted to celebrate by having a drink and decided ti order a few bites before heading out. My niece ordered the chicken quesadilla, her friend ordered basket of sweet potato fries, i ordered the hamburger w/ onion rings, my husband ordered the chicken wings topped off with three angry orchards and a Diet Coke. The hamburgers were homemade hand packed and just an all around delicious hamburger service was great over all a great experience, thanks Foley's for a delicious lunch!

The bleu cheese mushroom burger. Burgers come with chips.

This is a cool low-key place with good bar food (we both had the grilled cheese and fried pickles).

Man, so sad about this place! Decided to stop in here for my birthday and was extremely…read moredisappointed. To start this place is a "sit down" but you have to order at the bar and they bring it to you. We were a tad thrown off with that since they literally had waiters and people roaming around, didn't make sense to me. But that was just the start! We decided to order nachos and a pretzel to start the meal. The pretzel was disgusting, hard and lacking flavor and the $14 nachos was a side plate with a small portion of nachos on it. I asked the server what was with the size of the nachos and he said he though they were normal. They aren't, you go to a normal bar and for $14 comes out a platter with nachos that are loaded. Then our mains came out, my wife's salad was gross, lacking flavor and with dry chicken and my burger was decent. For $90 this meal should have been WAYYY better. We left feeling very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.

It's got that unmistakable '70s pub vibe--wood paneling, dim lighting, the works. But it was clean, and something about it felt comfortable, like a spot that's been around long enough to know what it does well. Service was... efficient. Our server was abrupt but not rude--just straight to the point, no wasted words. To be completely fair, they could have used a couple more, but this gal knew her way around the room, and seemed to enjoy the challenge of handling a dinner rush on her own. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and split the antipasto, pairing it with a beer and a glass of wine. The beer? Just about perfect. The wine? Not so much--tasted like it had been sitting open a bit too long, so we'll knock a few points there. Now, the pizza. Fantastic. The kind of pizza you picture when someone says "village pizza." Crisp crust, great cheese-to-sauce ratio, and exactly the right amount of grease to know you're in for something good. If nothing else, that pizza alone makes McCauly's worth the trip. The antipasto was solid. Nothing mind-blowing, but they didn't skimp on the meats and cheeses, which is a win in my book. Drinks were refilled promptly, and service stayed on top of things. Bottom line: If you're looking for modern charm, this isn't your place. But if you want a laid-back pub with excellent pizza and cold beer, McCauly's delivers.

If you bring in one of their plastic mugs you get $3 beers on tap from their selection. It is the best deal and something super easy for a Wednesday! You can easily walk here on Wasson Way which is super nice, especially when the weathers nice. They have a great outdoor patio with a ton of seating, heaters, and covers in case it rains. Their inside if nice with a cool upstairs for more room. The best part about this spot is that they have a popcorn machine in the back that you can serve yourself, free of charge! I come here for the free popcorn alone, it is so good! This place is super great and such a fun and different experience, with a great mug of whatever your preferred drink is and some fresh and salty popcorn!

Even better, the space is free to rent, which is such a huge bonus! There are multiple TVs upstairs, and the staff was great about changing the channels on a few so we could watch a specific football game. Little touches like that made the night even better. The only downside was the bar situation downstairs. Knowing there was a large party booked, I really wish they had staffed more bartenders. Our guests mentioned that it was taking quite a while to get drinks, and eventually a few people ended up going next door instead. Overall, though, the space itself was fantastic and worked out great for the party, just hoping next time they're better staffed for big events!

I came out in December for their Miracle pop-up in 2025…read more As someone who has gone to a ton of holiday cocktail bars and pop-ups over the last 10 years, Overlook Lodge's is probably the best I've ever been to. Be aware it will be FAST. Look at the order ahead of time if you're a picky eater/drinker. They run your appointment like clockwork, and you'll be in-and-out, gulping down cocktails, through the entire experience. Your two drinks are included (this year, anyway), and I'd honestly be surprised if you managed to have time for a third. Time zips by fast. That being said, because they do it this way, you essentially have constant service, there's "events" that happen at the end of your reservation time, (I don't want to spoil it, but cover your drink!), and then they kick you out. Service was friendly, though, and I saw the server make time to take group photos for all of the tables (including ours) with someone at the table's camera. (No bullshit "group photo" upsells here) It's kinda loud, though, and I wouldn't recommend this as a chill meet-up-and-socialize spot. (If you wanna talk, they have an addendum, Christmas-themed laid-back bar next door.) It's more of a "get blasted in the face by Christmas for an hour and then leave" experience. It's pretty loud, and talking can be a bit difficult over the music and constant interruptions (more drinks? Photos? Cute Christmas video montage?) But this works in its favor as it feels the most Christmas, over-the-top, and seasonal out of all the holiday bars I've ever been to. It also keeps it from feeling too crowded as reservations are required, so you for-sure have a seat and you don't have to stand forever in line to wait for drinks. I'd probably guesstimate that bar staff is making all of their seasonal drinks, constantly, and servers just pick one up to deliver. With the capacity in here, it would make sense. No idea what the bar is like the rest of the year; this is just a review for the Miracle pop-up which, again, is probably the best I've been to in the Midwest. Cincinnati, you're spoiled down here. (Sidenote, I was absolutely taken aback by their TV presentation on the wall. It's hard to describe, but it isn't just a projector showing a giant rectangle. It's specifically slotted into the holes in-between holiday decorations. Staff told me that had to hire special technicians to get it to show up that way and that's seriously a level of detail I am so amazed by.)

From the name, I definitely expected a more hipster restaurant but it was very far from that lol. Certainly not a place you'd enjoy a nice glass of wine. This is a bar first, so expect locals at the bar chatting with the staff. They are not waiters and from what I understand, the food comes from a food truck in the back. You sit wherever, order from a QR code and one of the bartenders brings your food. There is a water cooler for self serve water, and two single person bathrooms. The place was kind of clean, but could use some updating. All of the food is greasy bar food. Fried food and burgers. They have an assortment of domestic beers, thc drinks, and liquor. I ordered chicken tex mex eggrolls and fried pickles. My friends got a patty melt, burger, brussels sprouts, and tater tots. Be advised, anything cooked is done so in beef tallow! Not for vegetarians or vegans although i think there was a salad on the menu. The food was okay, no complaints really, it just wasn't what I would normally like to eat. If you like bar food, I think you would really enjoy this place! The staff was friendly, no complaints there either. I would not likely return here - during my next round of dress shopping, i'll probably leave the area to eat.
